“Really cute charming space close to everything. Walked here from rittenhouse in a few minutes to catch a negroni on top and some amazing wine. Simple clean selection of incredible spirits especially this super rare Norden Aquavit seasonal! We shared a charcuterie board and something else I can remember but everything was excellent perfect place to start or end the night for us. I think there was an upstairs with more seating and even some two tops outside. Caught a really great sunset while we finished some wine and snacks before venturing out. I think the negroni was on tap and it was delicious.“

The only negative for this being a wine bar is, despite the rather robust wine bottle list, the selection of wine by the glass is limiting. Just 7 total.“

“This was me and my fiances first time at City Winery. We were greeted by the Hostess Susan who was very informative of upcoming promotions and she even offered a tour of the establishment. The wait was not long as we were seated pretty quickly. The service was phenomenal the server Cel was welcoming and had me and my fiancé laughing and enjoying ourselves from the moment we were seated. Cel made several suggestions on food as well as drinks. During the visit we learned that Cel is a bartender as well and invited us to come back which we will. The Braised Short Rib was flavorful and was a rather large portion. My fiancé had the Branzino he loved it and was ready to order one to go. Will recommend this place to all of our friends and family. We will be back for the Vivian Green show in May.“

“Not kidding. Our table of 4 ordered nearly everything in the menu. Each bite was delicious, balanced, nuanced, worldly, fresh, and inventive. We ordered a second dish of the carrots, and also the cukes. Dessert was outstanding. Interesting wines, including a chilled Croatian wine that paired well with every dish. Definitely returning. “I was looking to see if Rose garden has a take out option, I see all of these bad reviews. The many times I’ve been here, the food, drinks, and the service was AMAZING!!!! I HATE lamb, but My friend made me take a bite of the lamb chop! OMG it was so full of flavor!!! Crab cakes, shrimp & grits, chicken wings, sweet potato fries, omg the Brussel sprouts are FINGER LICKING GOODT!!!! Don’t let me get started on how delicious the drinks are! My experience each and every time has been an exceptional one!“

The service was amazing throughout the meal, I wish I got the servers name as he was really an incredibly friendly young man who clearly knew the menu very well. The atmosphere is wonderful and the interior is just lovely. In terms of the food, I had the wild boar bolognese which was a special that night, and it was AMAZING!! Really, all the food was impeccable, from the focaccia to our mains. Super pleased and the next time I’m in town, I will most definitely be coming back!!“

“I took my girlfriend here for our anniversary and we had a great experience. The ambience was nice, the staff was friendly, our waitress was attentive and the food was good. The manager Timothy Fisher stopped by our table twice to check on us and as we were on our way out, he ran up the stairs to hand us my girlfriend's purse which was left at our table. “Incredible experience. Great location, vibe, service, staff, interior, drinks and food. We made reservations in advance good thing as around 6pm on a Monday it started to get a little lively. We started with two cocktails the new class same teacher? And the poor Helen. Both nice little riffs on classic cocktails. The same teacher was top notch. For starter we had the chicken Milanese which was outstanding. Then we split a fennel and sausage pie. I finished with a neat averna. I wish I had more room for dessert. Most importantly the entire evening was made effortlessly cool by the entire staff. From being greeted to being sat. The server especially the server was on top of everything and a real pleasure to chat up. All the food came out promptly and anytime we were low on something , someone was there to check in on us. Even tho it was getting quite busy everyone had cool composure and kept things moving pleasantly. “Over a month ago my daughter and I had lunch at Seasons 52, King of Prussia. I am really careful regarding eating out because I have sensitivities to certain foods which include onions, scallions, shallots, leeks, chives, and garlic. I explained everything to my server. She went above and beyond and consulted with the Chef to make sure there were no mistakes with my order. She did a wonderful thing! David Jacobo, the Executive Chef Partner at Seasons 52 came to my table and discussed what he could do. He prepared a special appetizer of "Flatbread" which was artfully plated and decadent with fresh basil. He also added a special side to replace a dish that was not on my diet. Chef David came to our table several times to question how I was enjoying his specific dishes. I know firsthand about being turned away from a restaurant because they could not accommodate certain dietary requests. A wonderful experience from the start with an attentive waitress and caring Chef. Highly recommend.“

We had amazing bartender, Kem, who was very personable and offered great food and drink suggestions and friendly conversation. The drinks were excellent and the pizza was even better. “I went to Jet Wine bar for a Halloween movie night with a friend. They were understaffed but they still went above and beyond to take care of us. Food and drinks were excellent. We watched the movie inside even though they were only serving outside. It was so kind and really an unnecessary accommodation they made for us to enjoy our time there. I'll definitely be going back!

“This was my second time here. I went a couple of months ago and I ordered the same type of tacos (cauliflower). The tacos this time were much more flavourful, had more sauce/seasonings. I also had the same margarita and it was also much improved.

I was there with a party of 8. Service was great and one of our party was running late. We weren’t rushed and were asked if we wanted to wait to order food, which I really appreciated.

Our party included meat eaters, vegetarians, and gluten free (celiac, not by choice). There were multiple choices for everyone. Everyone thought their meals were really good - and this is a crowd that frequents Mexican restaurants.

I have celiac disease and can tell within 30 minutes whether or not I got exposed to gluten. The server was very knowledgeable about gluten free options, from drinks to the food. I was assured that what I ordered had no cross contamination and they don’t put other items in the fryer that they use for tortilla chips. I had heard that they had stopped doing this a few months ago from an online review - but seems like they have a dedicated fryer for their chips again. I did not have a reaction!

The rooftop deck is beautiful and just a wonderful atmosphere. The entire restaurant though is thoughtfully decorated and the murals are gorgeous. Also really thrilled about supporting a local who clearly put a lot of thought into opening a restaurant here in East Falls and making it such a wonderful experience.“

“Enswell is a gorgeous restaurant (even the loo is worth a visit... think high gloss burgundy and wallpaper) and bottle shop, and the service is some of the best I've experienced in the city thus far. The sausage was so good, the flat white was excellent, and the potatoes are perfectly crispy. You're in a great neighborhood for roaming, some light shopping, and people watching. Highly recommend and so happy we spent our Friday morning at a sweet little two-top outside chatting with our server-- great way to start the weekend.“
