“Review for the Headkeeper @ Tapus Bar ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Standing ovation! I came. I saw. I devoured. The Lamb Porterhouse Duo—oh sweet heavenly carnivore joy—I couldn’t help myself, and frankly, I don’t regret a single bite. That lamb didn’t just whisper flavor—it sang a full opera of juicy excellence. But here’s where it got wild: the slawed cucumber side and that complimentary cucumber sauce? 😂🥒 Straight up hijacked my attention like a taste bud ninja. Finely sliced tomatoes, herbs, spices—this plate had more garnishes than a red carpet event, and every one of them was a flavor bomb. And let’s talk staff. The lovely soul who walked me to the cooler to pick out one of the many non-alcoholic beers? Top. Notch. 👏 Sweet, informative, and had the charm level of a rom-com lead. The cook—scratch that, the chef (yup, with an “ef”)—greeted me like I was part of the family. Friendly, clearly seasoned, and the kind of kitchen commander who knows how to orchestrate a food symphony. Between the flavors and the hospitality, this spot hit me like a surprise plot twist in a feel-good movie. I walked in curious and walked out converted. Future me will 100% be back, probably dragging a few friends like, “You have to taste this!” 😂 Tapus Bar? You’ve got a fan. Keep feeding hearts and bellies—I’ll be back!“

“Literally the best pizza I’ve had my whole life, and I don’t prefer Detroit Style. It is just so good that it change you forever. The beer is super awesome too and I’m with my friend Andrew which makes it super good. Shoutout to Karly who is also super awesome.“

“Definitely do not come here for the atmosphere or the cleanliness. It hasn't seen a sanitizer since 1980. Literally. It was pretty bad. BUT....we committed to staying because someone gave the food a 5 stars review...and I see why. It was hands down the best breakfast I've had. Every part of that meal was a 5. Only the food, the coffee was awful, so not the beverages, just the food. I was in total shock. That cook needs a raise! Also,it's a shame, someone needs to clean this place up, and give the dining area a face lift. Because, the food their serving deserves to be served on a nice plate, and put on a clean, bought this century, booth. It also smells real bad, they need to open up the windows and let some fresh air in there.“

“Great prices, relaxing environment, really friendly bartenders....even cheap bingo on Wednesday nights... Been here a handful of times for a few drinks & bingo... Had a great time with friends.. I went as a guest and ended up buying a membership (VERY CHEAP😊)“

“Didn't eat there yet, but I'll offer my rating when I do. I rarely, rarely drink, but my better half wanted to go out & have a couple. Diana, like the princess but not killed in an assassination, was cordial & nice. She waited on us as did one of the original founder's nephew. I tipped them both $1.25 on the 2 beers, which were $3.75 for a Miller Lite bottle. I'm frugal as hell, so the service must've been 5 star in order for me to do that. The other patrons were cool. One guy was fun. We all were chatting about nationalities and, even though he was black, I suggested we were all one big family. He objected. I said yes, you're my brother. He asked if I was Italian. I said no, I'm mostly Czechoslovakian and about as honky as they get. We all laughed, he splowed me up and changed his early position, calling me brother.
Juke box was cool, free credits made it cooler. Eddie's keeps music playing, not forcing you to put money in it. Crowd was half white, half black. I wish I could say the white people were cool, but, I'm told, the creepy guy supposedly grabbed someone's behind earning him a slap in the face. It's not nice to identify victims of sexual assault unless they want that. To be identified, that is. No one likes to be sexually assaulted. But justice was swift, firm. Everyone else had a nice time, playing pool. Darts, a few poker machines. Nice sized flat screen. The stereo was nice, loud. I'm told they will be getting a foosball table really soon. A really good one with electronic scoring. If they do, I'll update because I will play 4 people at once and beat you all. Yes, I put my money where my mouth is, even though it has germs. My mouth & money.
So who's gonna be my first victim? I told you, I'm cheap, so I will only bet $1 per game. Until some drunk, arrogant fool slaps $100 on the table in which case I will take the bet, beat him after explaining the terms & conditions of my betting him & winning, then taking him to another club across the bridge on the other side of town: The Club Above. That's where AA lives, and loves, if you're wondering.
I sense Eddie's will grow more popular in the near future. And I trust & hope my review had something to do with it and that you don't bring any drama to the well established establishment. Just bring yourself, a friend & respect and let everyone enjoy their night. Please and thank you.“

“I've been coming here for over 10 years and can't say enough, the draft list is always changing and offers a great selection for any craft beer advocate, top it off with the food that is alway on point, pizza and wings, this is the place, have to try to house sexy wing sauce! Finally the atmosphere small but welcoming, I feel like family after all these years. Glad to have somewhere like this so close to home!“

“This is a private club. Very cheap prices and a nice atmosphere. They finally got rid of one of the worst bartenders I've ever seen. I thought he must have been in the union or something to still have a job there. A lot of good people are members there. Hopefully with a change of bartenders people will come back. Nice club.“
“Been going here for nearly 10yrs and it gets better every year. I've been privileged to be there dj for a year now and the staff is like a family. A great time for all. Special events and parties for members which pay for the membership 10 fold. Ashe Club really knows how to have a great time with great people. Hope to see everyone there!“
