But here’s where it got wild: the slawed cucumber side and that complimentary cucumber sauce? 😂🥒 Straight up hijacked my attention like a taste bud ninja. Finely sliced tomatoes, herbs, spices—this plate had more garnishes than a red carpet event, and every one of them was a flavor bomb. And let’s talk staff. The lovely soul who walked me to the cooler to pick out one of the many non-alcoholic beers? Top. Notch. 👏 Sweet, informative, and had the charm level of a rom-com lead. The cook—scratch that, the chef (yup, with an “ef”)—greeted me like I was part of the family. “Definitely do not come here for the atmosphere or the cleanliness. It hasn't seen a sanitizer since 1980. Literally. It was pretty bad. BUT....we committed to staying because someone gave the food a 5 stars review...and I see why. It was hands down the best breakfast I've had. Every part of that meal was a 5. Only the food, the coffee was awful, so not the beverages, just the food. I was in total shock. That cook needs a raise! Also,it's a shame, someone needs to clean this place up, and give the dining area a face lift. Because, the food their serving deserves to be served on a nice plate, and put on a clean, bought this century, booth. It also smells real bad, they need to open up the windows and let some fresh air in there.“

“Didn't eat there yet, but I'll offer my rating when I do. I rarely, rarely drink, but my better half wanted to go out & have a couple. Diana, like the princess but not killed in an assassination, was cordial & nice. She waited on us as did one of the original founder's nephew. I tipped them both $1.25 on the 2 beers, which were $3.75 for a Miller Lite bottle. I'm frugal as hell, so the service must've been 5 star in order for me to do that. The other patrons were cool. One guy was fun. We all were chatting about nationalities and, even though he was black, I suggested we were all one big family. He objected. I said yes, you're my brother. He asked if I was Italian. I said no, I'm mostly Czechoslovakian and about as honky as they get. We all laughed, he splowed me up and changed his early position, calling me brother.

Juke box was cool, free credits made it cooler. Eddie's keeps music playing, not forcing you to put money in it. Crowd was half white, half black. I wish I could say the white people were cool, but, I'm told, the creepy guy supposedly grabbed someone's behind earning him a slap in the face. It's not nice to identify victims of sexual assault unless they want that. To be identified, that is. No one likes to be sexually assaulted. But justice was swift, firm. Everyone else had a nice time, playing pool. Darts, a few poker machines. Nice sized flat screen. The stereo was nice, loud. I'm told they will be getting a foosball table really soon. A really good one with electronic scoring. If they do, I'll update because I will play 4 people at once and beat you all. Yes, I put my money where my mouth is, even though it has germs. My mouth & money.

So who's gonna be my first victim? I told you, I'm cheap, so I will only bet $1 per game. Until some drunk, arrogant fool slaps $100 on the table in which case I will take the bet, beat him after explaining the terms & conditions of my betting him & winning, then taking him to another club across the bridge on the other side of town: The Club Above. That's where AA lives, and loves, if you're wondering.

I sense Eddie's will grow more popular in the near future. And I trust & hope my review had something to do with it and that you don't bring any drama to the well established establishment. Just bring yourself, a friend & respect and let everyone enjoy their night. Please and thank you.“

“Big portions, home cooked food. We go once every few months and I've never had a meal I didn't like. The French onion soup and the pecan balls are my favorites. Their pizza crust is probably the only thing I avoid; it's not bad, but it's not good.“

“10/10 Mother's Day Brunch was amazing! We come all the time for the brunches. they are always well stocked/fresh, hot, and so many options to choose from. the service is always wonderful! The staff always helpful and super sweet. The owner is always on the floor talking to customers, grabbing food or drinks, cleaning tables, seating people, doing whatever she can to make the experice smooth. “A nice little place! My husband and I did some antiquing for our date day in the Greensburg area and wanted to find a place that kind of fit in with that theme. This place definitely fit the bill! Decorated in Route 66 items, it gave that feel of yesteryear with decor items such as neon car wall art, an old Coke cooler and an old radio. The tables have plain white paper as the table cover which gave us time to fit in a few tic tac toe games before we were served. The service was very pleasant! Friendly and constantly refilling drinks. There is a large bar area separated from the dining room. Fast service, beer, cocktails, wine. I got the meatball hoagie and fries, while my husband chose the phillie cheesteak and chips. Our only complaint was that for the cost of the sandwiches, they were a little small. Don’t get me wrong, the taste was amazing, but just wished the sandwiches were a little longer. We were still a little hungry after finishing. Chips were really good! “I knew I was in for somethin special when I walked up into their parkin' field and saw small rocks gravellin it up all fancy like. This upscale establishment had walls from floor to ceiling on all sides. It even had not one, but two doors to go through. And get this, they on the hinges! Wow. But that's nothing compared to what I discovered entering the final door... the floor... i thought they forgot to put da sawdust down and Id be walking on raw dirt, naw, naw, it was better than saw dust. You ever hear of fellers puttin down wood across an entire floor? That must have taken a lot of dedicated non drinkers a lot of time. It nearly brought a tear to my eye to know they cared enough for me to spend all that time for me. I went to look up to the Heavens and thank God, but I couldn't see a cloud in sight. You know that dang place had a roof on it? And not any normal roof, a roof without a hole in it? Well I forgot what happened next, but I woke up in a ditch, pulled out my phone and wrote this review. I'm not sure if it was real or some kind of dream, but if I can find my way back to the country, where all the people want to be nice to everyone(like everyone everyone should learn to be nice to each other) , I'd walk right back in.
