Brenda was also amazing—she helped set up the night before, listened to every detail of my vision, and executed it beautifully. They absolutely nailed every aspect of my bridal shower. “I don’t even know where to begin! Working with Rania & her staff was so easy, organized, and enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!!!! She catered our wedding at The Pennsylvanian. Early on in the process, Rania invited us to her home & sat down with my parents & me to discuss the type of reception we wanted. She was very thorough with everything... from decor, to meal options, to alcohol selection. When it got closer to our wedding date, we had an extremely detailed meeting where we discussed the timeline of the wedding... almost down to every 15 minutes. She worked with us on menu selections & was extremely flexible when it came to mixing & matching items. Then — this weekend — the day we had been waiting for! Everyone always says to “make sure you eat” at your wedding, and I was absolutely making sure I did that!! The appetizers were absolutely amazing. Rania’s staff made sure to find my husband and me to make sure we got to try some during cocktail hour. Honestly - I could have eaten just the appetizers and been full!! My sea bass was cooked to PERFECTION, and the filet that my husband ordered was incredible. In fact... I kept sneaking bites of his 😬!! I also cannot say enough about our cake. We had two flavors - double chocolate & white cake/raspberry filling. I am counting down til our 1 year anniversary to when we can eat it again!!!! It was delicious. So many of our guests said that it was one of the best meals they’ve had at a wedding, which of course, we were thrilled to hear. As for Rania’s staff, Rania was making sure everything went smoothly & it absolutely did. Sydney was there for the entire night & was so helpful. She kept us updated on when she was putting gifts back into the bridal room throughout the evening, and kept checking in to see if we needed anything. She was so sweet, and so were all the other staff members & bartenders. Our night was absolutely perfect, and working with Rania & her staff helped everything go so smoothly. “AMAZING! I DJ weddings all over the country and I have found out over the years a venue is only as nice as the staff is. Salvatore's staff was incredible, they were on top of everything, thoughtful and helpful. I enjoyed working with them. Many times a catering staff overlooks the vendors, this was NOT the case here. After I set up and did a sound check I went over the flow of the day with Jenna and we were on the same page. The servers brought me a meal, I went to the bar and asked for juice to drink the bar tender asked me if I wanted a pitcher so I wouldn't have to keep walking to the bar. I hung a Custom monogram gobo in the ceiling to reflect on the wall, they got me a ladder and assisted me in hanging it. This venue is easily an 11 out of 10! the owners name is Vicky and she even called me and asked me if I wanted to store my equipment in the venue the night before the wedding because she knew I was traveling. I would recommend this venue to every bride in the Pittsburgh area and I can't wait to get back to Pittsburgh to DJ here again. Oh yeah, shout out to Vicky's husband for changing the power so my Speakers, Lights, Fog machine and sparklers were not on the same circuit. DJ Krazy T“

“Commonplea Catering was the catering vendor for the Heinz History Center. We still hear from our guests about the food and how tasty everything was. We wanted some seafood options at the cocktail hour and they were able to accommodate that outside of the passed appetizers we had. They had a tasting event a few months before our wedding where we got to try everything before choosing our menu options.“

“I work full time and am full time caregiver of elderly mom with dietary restrictions. I don’t have the energy to prepare 3 healthy meals a day 7 days a week that taste good. This is our 3rd week ordering meals from Pgh Fresh. No salt, no added sugar and low processed carbs are the restrictions. Meals have been great- individual meals can feed both of us usually- if I make a fresh salad to go with it. Mom’s glucose dropped. I highly recommend. Btw- Lemon blueberry chia pudding is to die for.“

“This place is hilarious. From my understanding the store is closed and they self-doordash to CMU.

You order by texting them on wechat from the couple options they have and they drive down to CMU everyday and meet you on campus in tepper to hand over your food like uberats.

My meal was 12 dollars for a tea, pork ribs, bok choy, shrimp, scrambled eggs and tomatoes and rice. It was delicious and incredibly cheap proportional to volume of food

10/10 would meet in the Tepper School of business alley again“
