Melanie was the best in terms of communication, always very prompt with email. The menu options are plentiful - you will find something to your liking. The menu tasting experience was spectacular and made the decision a no-brainer. Communication, planning, and ultimately execution on the day of the reception were all stellar. Highly recommend.“

“My son set up a cooking demo for his sisters birthday. The theme was chicken, her request. The dishes presented were exceptionally doable, even for a new cook. The food was delicious . They accommodated both vegetarian and gluten free diets. I would recommend them for any catering need. I am thanking both the chef and her sous chef for a wonderful evening.“
“We used Mark and his team for a 40th/Costume Party at the Mattress Factory a few months ago and we were beyond impressed. Not only was Mark wonderful to work with from start to finish, his entire team were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond throughout the duration of our event. The food was displayed beautifully (think a long banquet table with spreads of fruits, cheeses, small appetizers/dips, etc - like a mile long charcuterie display) - all were excellent and home made, even down to the salsa! There was an abundance of tasty food, all fresh, and all fantastic. Their pricing is very reasonable for around the City too. Thank you to Mark and his entire team who not only catered, but bartended our event as well. All was 5-star!!! Highly recommend!“

“AMAZING! I DJ weddings all over the country and I have found out over the years a venue is only as nice as the staff is. Salvatore's staff was incredible, they were on top of everything, thoughtful and helpful. I enjoyed working with them. Many times a catering staff overlooks the vendors, this was NOT the case here. After I set up and did a sound check I went over the flow of the day with Jenna and we were on the same page. The servers brought me a meal, I went to the bar and asked for juice to drink the bar tender asked me if I wanted a pitcher so I wouldn't have to keep walking to the bar. I hung a Custom monogram gobo in the ceiling to reflect on the wall, they got me a ladder and assisted me in hanging it. This venue is easily an 11 out of 10! the owners name is Vicky and she even called me and asked me if I wanted to store my equipment in the venue the night before the wedding because she knew I was traveling. I would recommend this venue to every bride in the Pittsburgh area and I can't wait to get back to Pittsburgh to DJ here again. Oh yeah, shout out to Vicky's husband for changing the power so my Speakers, Lights, Fog machine and sparklers were not on the same circuit. DJ Krazy T“

“I had some decent food! I enjoyed the ribs and macaroni and cheese. I would've loved the cabbage but it was very peppery and I didn't taste any meat in them ? but I did eat some of it. I missed the smothered pork chops and I will be back to try those ?. A decent meal and reasonably priced.“

“Attended a wedding at the Heinz History Center, Nikki was the server for our table. I have food allergies and she was very accommodating and made sure all of the food I had was correct. All of the services provided by common plea were excellent from a guest stand point. I must say Nikki was absolutely fantastic. I wish she could be at every event I go to.“
“I'm really impressed with PGH Fresh as a prepared meals delivery (or pick up if in Pittsburgh) company. I never wanted to get a food delivery service due to all the packaging and being forced into a subscription. You can just pick out whatever meals you want and not worry about having to subscribe. Delivery service extends pretty wide, which is awesome (I'm about 30 minutes away and they deliver to my home!)
They make excellent food and I love that I don't have to cook it, just heat it in the oven or microwave....that's what a meal service is for! Convenience!

“Recently had a lunch catered by Apple Harvest. BLOWN AWAY! Had an amazing rareRoast beef sandwich. The Italian bread was unbelievably fresh, and the horseradish sauce was a perfect pair. For sides there was a tasty bow tie pasta with feta, spinach and pine nuts (I think)...Fantastic. The creamy coleslaw was top notch and the chocolate chip cookie was baked to perfection. Who knew this gem was right here in the neighborhood. If you need a corporate lunch catered or just wanna treat the employees to something special...give this place a try...you won’t be disappointed.“

Sarah made accommodations for Covid-19 fears and just was so thoughtful and kind throughout the process. Plus the boxes looked so amazing that my own family broke into one before I could deliver it. I’ll be back buying more of these boards and boxes!!“
