“We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for lunch after visiting the zoo. Everything was fantastic! The food was freshly made and just delicious. There were 5 of us and we had pizza, subs, and bowls. Great food! I personally had the BBQ Hawaiian Pizza and onion rings. If I am in the area again, I would definitely stop by!“

“Me and my friend came for lunch after getting a tattoo. First time having lebanese food and it didn’t disappoint. The food was amazing, and after talking to the owner some more and telling him it was our first time, he gave us both a piece of baklava. He was really great to talk to and made us feel very welcome. “We were thrilled that we ended up here since we initially planned to have breakfast on Sunday morning elsewhere and didn't realize it wasn't open until 8am. Alihan's was open early enough for us to have a good breakfast before going to the airport.

While we did not take advantage of the Turkish food on the menu, the meat lover's omelettes were perfect. Plenty of egg and full of meat. We also had a pair of Turkish coffees and the iced caramel macchiatos, both of which were exactly as we expected. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion size.

The environment was appropriately quiet for a Sunday morning breakfast, and the staff were very kind and expedient with serving us.

“I went for lunch today and ordered a kid’s meal. The portion was sizeable and filling (I am 5’3” and 125lbs, so I am kid sized). Also it was delicious- I got grilled chicken, brown rice, pita, hummus, and lettuce. I have never had grilled chicken that flavorful before!

Service was great, and I was able to get my food fairly quickly despite it being busy. The staff were super friendly and helped me when I was confused!

I did dock off one star because the atmosphere was very loud and it was difficult to hear the employees over the music. But I do tend to be sensitive to noise, so take that with a grain of salt.

Overall great!

Edit: forgot to mention, but I didn’t end up getting the drink with my kid’s meal. I didn’t stand up for myself and it was busy, so I don’t blame that on the workers (used to be a customer service worker myself, it’s really difficult) Besides, I was there for the food anyway!“

“I placed a takeout order at the Fox Chapel (Pittsburgh) location on 3/29, around 5pm. I live in SE Virginia and my son’s father lives in Aspinwall, we were meeting 1/2 way in Maryland for spring break so I asked him if he’d pick up and take out order for me at the FC restaurant, and bring it with him and our son. (Nothing in my area compares to Aladdin’s!!). When I called, an amazing woman answered the phone, I asked ONLY if they could put the sauce on the side for my Shawarma so it wasn’t soggy 8 hours later when I’d be home to eat! Without second thought, she offered to make both of the Shawarma’s “deconstructed” with everything separate so I could “build” the wraps myself!! I also ordered the Dawali! When my ex handed me the bag and went to the cooler to get my food, I noticed what the crew had done…. They put everything in separate takeout containers and even wrote instructions on the Dawali container for me to heat, when I got home!! Everything was separate and the amount of extra time that was spent on the order was above and beyond!! It may seem simple, but for them to take the time and effort to make sure my food was just as good as it would have been if I ate in the store was really refreshing!! So THANK YOU to the Fox Chapel location for packing my order with such attention and my ex will be bringing a cooler with Shawarma’s and Diwali’s each time we meet in Maryland!!!“

“This is our favorite Alddin’s location in Pittsburgh. The food is always delicious; kibbe, beef kafta rolls, Aladdin’s favorite combo, and baba gannouj are our usual picks. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. It’s easy for us to get to and has a parking garage across the street for easy parking. We have made friends with some of the staff and always love dining in. “The food was good. Placed a pick up order to try out this restaurant for the first time. I didn’t realize a gryo wasn’t a wrap so my meal all came in a bowl with sides of pita. I thought everything was good, but I love sauce and could have used twice the amount of sauce they provided. I def recommend.“

“Very nice Mediterranean restaurant. I visited this place on the day before Mother’s Day, and it was surprisingly not super packed. It’s got a nice location on the central road in Squirrel Hill, but it’s a bit hard to find parking. When I got there, I got to try their shish tawouk (chicken kabob), mujadara, salad with feta, and iced mint tea.

The tea was pretty alright. Refreshing and a nice mint flavor; I think they might make the blend in house. They also brought out some nice pita before we started the meal.

For my main course, I ordered the shish tawouk. You usually get this meal with the rice pilaf, but they were out, so I got to try the mujadara. I’m actually quite glad! The chicken was tender, and the portion was very fair. They served it with a nice tomato sauce, but I also asked for some garlic sauce on the side. The sauces both seem to be homemade, and definitely go well with the chicken.

The mujadara was surprisingly delicious. They top the dish with crispy sweet onions. It’s a mix of lentils and some other grain. Very good!

One thing to mention generally is this place closes quite early, usually around 8 or 8:30 PM, so do keep it in mind. It is also very clearly a family endeavor, with the mom managing most of the tables and the kids always helping out. Very nice place!“

“Very nice surprise here. Had not been on Babcock Blvd for a minute. Had lunch and the staff and owner made us feel welcome, a feeling you never get with the national chain restaurants. Great food as in all Mike and Tony's so the gyro was great!“

“Really nice place for a good time and tasty food! I am actually quite impressed with how tasty the food was here. This place serves a variety of food items, from American burgers to Middle Eastern wraps. It seems like they are best known for their saj, so that's what I ordered. I tried the Arabic chicken shawarma saj with French fries.

It was delicious! The price was quite fair for the decently large portion. The chicken was cooked well and had nice spices with it. There was a sauce to put it all together. It was creamy and truly delicious. Some nice pickles for crunch, and the wrap itself was also pretty good. Very nice!

The French fries were kind of mediocre. They didn't have a ton of flavor to them and weren't that crispy. I would have probably been fine without them, or if I could, would have traded them for another side.

All in all, the main course (the saj) was delicious! I definitely recommend this place for some cheap food and a nice experience.
