“This is my go to Chinese place in the area and I order about once a month and the food is always good. They did get rid of their sweet and sour soup which is my favorite, so eventually I’ll probably try somewhere new (this place is just a two minute drive from my house so it wins out of convenience) I wouldn’t say it’s the best food but it’s good- I don’t like my food over seasoned and like to actually taste the food though- their ingredients seem to be fresh and good quality, great quality veggies which is why I like it here.HOWEVER they have a really annoying cash only policy. If your order is below $10 you have to pay cash. Who carries cash?! I tried to order yesterday, my order was $8.50 and they wouldn’t allow me to order because I didn’t have cash! Which seems really crazy and bad for their business to turn down orders over a credit card fee? Just charge me the fifty cents to use a card, who cares.“

“The chef and server were very friendly and efficient. I had an array of different dishes and they all had great presentation aswell as flavor. I’d recommend their coconut shrimp because it comes with this coconut sauce that is to die for. The crab ragoons were so hot and crabby cream cheesy. Delicious. Miso soup is an obvious staple and they have a good soup. Anyway 9/10 only thing was the salmon roe sushi’s seaweed was too chewy. Other than that it was great.“

“Very happy to have this new place in the neighborhood. It's simple, straightforward, not-too-fancy teriyaki food done very well. The prices are very reasonable, the staff is very friendly, and they have a soda fountain, which is a big plus for me.“

“The Braised Short Rib is beyond perfection. I truly mean perfect. The food overall was amazing. I was surprised the drinks were not good. “The food and service were amazing here! My boyfriend and I went on a late night post workout date night here. The host/server greeted us with a smile, and came to take our order pretty fast. She asked us how we were doing, and we had a friendly conversation. She was great at giving helpful suggestions on what to order. The ramen is fantastic here! The sushi, pork dumplings were delicious! The bubble tea, and desserts were great as well! All in all, our experience there was amazing and I would highly recommend it! “ordered pick up last night, lady on the phone was very polite, i ordered 2 miso ramens and the crispy chicken buns, all were very delicious, chicken buns were the best, the ramen was also delicious with generous portions, for two rather large ramens and an order of the crispy chicken buns the total came to about 35$ which was well worth the price, was ready in 10 minutes and had no difficulties picking up my order, will be coming here more often with my girlfriend“

“We ordered on DoorDash. The bag was stapled at the top to be held upwards but the food was sideways. My rolls got soaked in sauce. Not a terrible thing but I’d prefer they were crispy. Highly recommend a different bagging/to go technique. The food was delicious nonetheless. I enjoyed everything in my bento box. The miso soup was good too. The dumplings were tasty but i had to pick out the beans/green vegetables was on it. Personal preference but other than that i will definitely order again. The salad was good wish it were more but it was a lunch combo so not complaining at all. Their ginger salad dressing was amazing.“

“I love Kawa. It’s my favorite sushi restaurant so far and I’ve gone to tons of sushi restaurants in the past and in Japan. The presentation is beautiful, the servings are healthy, and the rice is just ?? delicioso.The servers are so kind and attentive. We love them. Also shoutout to the sushi chefs for being so talented and awesome.We always get their Toro and Uni sushi. Next on the list is hamachi, smoked salmon and tamago. There’s an AYCE option on Thursday of their Japanese menu. The fish cuts here are way better than what you’d find - even better than fat salmon or bubble fish in Philly’s Chinatown.“

A lot of sushi places around here can get pretty crazy with what they put on rolls but Miyake has knocked it out of the park with its wonderfully balanced rolls. “My daughter said that she was looking to have sushi for lunch today, so we decided to give Herosame in Ardmore a try. Wow, this is one of the best sushi meals we've had in the Philly area and definitely on the Main Line. I called in our takeout order and the server who took our order was very friendly and polite as was the server who brought us our order while we waited in the vestibule. We ordered the Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box and the Lunch Triple Roll Combo. Wow! I thought they had accidentally give us another person's order as the bags were quite heavy. Both lunch specials could easily be split over two meals or at least a meal and a leftovers snack. The Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box included a small house salad, a pint of Miso Soup, 2 Shumai, a California Roll, 6 large Teriyaki Shrimp and a pint of steamed white rice. The salad was a crisp and refreshing spring mix with thinly shredded carrots and a halved grape tomato with a delicious dressing. The Miso soup was very rich and tasty. The Shumai were delicious with a nice crisp exterior, but soft, tender and enjoyable meat inside. The California Roll was huge and stuffed with super fresh crab stick and vegetables topped off with tobiko. The Teriyaki Shrimp were just a hair overcooked, but still delicious. The Three Roll Lunch Combo featured a choice of three rolls from a list of twenty different rolls so my daughter picked the Shrimp Avocado Roll, Tempura Roll and Philly Roll. All three rolls, just like my Bento Box's California Roll were huge with the Shrimp Tempura Rolls being gigantic. One piece of the tempura roll was at least twice the size of other sushi rolls I've had. Each roll was stuffed with the traditional meats and veggie fillings. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Herosame will definitely be on our family's list for future Japanese lunches and dinners!“

“I've been getting food here since I was a child and it has been amazing since then. Tiny, quaint, family owned. Owner is pleasant. The system they have in place for ordering food could use some refinement and the location is somewhat inconvenient, it also gets a little pricey for larger sizes and the portions could be a little bigger, but I would suffer through it every time because the food is sublime!“

“Second time I've been here and the chicken green curry just hits for me, savory and filling with depths of flavor. Other places I go to make it too ginger-forward but Wasabi 2 does it right. We also got the chicken yakitori, tuna nigiri, tuna roll, and fabulous roll (tuna inside and out)! Great service with water refills and ordering takeout. An amazing spot for ordering out or a clean, cozy space for dining in! I love to visit after a run to Costco nearby.“

“I went the other day and thoroughly enjoyed the NY strip and shrimp fried rice. It was high quality and included fresh vegetables such as broccoli, onions and zucchini. The portion was very good for the price and it also came with a tasty salad. I also got the egg rolls which they make fresh and the two we got for our order where nearly twice the size as regular ones and were very delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try more!“

Our orders are always correct and no matter what we order, it tastes fantastic.
