“We just happened to stumble upon Slate Belt Brewing Company after dropping our daughter off at the Wind Gap Carnival, and wow, did we hit the jackpot!

The food was amazing, the drinks were great, and the whole place has such a cool vibe. To make the night even better, the owner, Tim, came over and personally introduced himself. I’m one of those people who can usually tell within five minutes of meeting someone what kind of person they are, and we truly wish Tim and his team all the success.

He even got up on stage and played bass guitar with an amazing local artist, Rick Koval, who was incredible!

We definitely did not expect to end up at a free concert with great food, great drinks, and great people, but it turned into such a fun night out.

I’m usually a creature of habit but Bovino’s has a selection of locally brewed beer that will satiate every taste bud. The food is great, too! The Flatbread pizza is so delicious. My fave is the Apple & Brie. The creamy Brie and caramelized apples, melt in your mouth. The sweetness of the apples with the saltiness of the prosciutto 🤌 The friendly staff, locally brewed beer & yummy food, I mean what more could you ask for! Oh! The French onion soup bomb. ‘Nuff said.“
