“My wife and I both had filet mignon (6 oz): cooked to perfection, tender, and delicious. Side of carrots and mashed potatoes were also delicious. Remember when ordering sides that there is enough for two people. Waitress (Michelle) was very pleasant and attentive. She answered our questions competently and stopped by the table often to make sure we had what we wanted. Ambiance was outstanding. The dining room is part of the original tavern from 1796. There is a fine display of Revolutionary War armaments. Lighting is moderate to add to the atmosphere. Hostess was very accommodating when I requested a table away from the noisy party ahead of us in line. Reservations are a must especially later in the evening. We ate at 5 PM and the restaurant was about half full. By the time we left at 7 PM it was almost full.“
