“The salad bar is one of the best I've ever seen and tasted. It has almost everything that you can imagine, and I sampled a good 90% of the offerings over about 5 trips. Amazingly, I didn't suffer the usual indigestion afterwards, which also says something about it!“

“1796 was a great dining experience. The food was very good. We opted for the 12 ounce filet mignon, mushrooms, fried onions for the top of the steak a chopped salad and the shrimp cocktail. Everything was wonderful. The mushrooms were good although we prefer the portobello mushrooms instead, but everything was delicious and I would definitely go back. Our waiter was outstanding!!!“
