“We love the Foster House and have been customers for many years. We don’t get there as often as we used to, and usually just order take out these days. We’ve put our time in though; trying to get those Thursday night wings and a place to sit. It was always worth it though. ?? In the service industry, I’m sure it’s hard….well impossible, to get it perfect every time and please every customer. There will always be some service glitches, mistakes, and unsatisfied customers everywhere. Still…..for us, it is one of our favorite places. We always order king sandwiches and it was hard to try something else. Instead, we finally ordered a tray of their very cheap, tasteless, “middle school” pizza. We just love it. We are actually addicted to it. Our only problem is that we can only get it on weekends. It’s different and maybe not for everyone, but it works for us. Very yummy!“

“As travelers from Connecticut, we were impressed with Dawg’s and there was nothing to complain about. We were looking for a sports bar so we could watch the UConn game as they were playing in the Big East finals. Our waitresses were very friendly and attentive when we asked for things. My chicken tortilla soup came out pretty quick. Overall, the food was very good. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap, and didn’t expect it to be as spicy as it was but it was very good. No complaints.“

“The food was amazing. Everything was fresh and delicious. We had a party of 7. Everyone enjoyed their food. The servings were big. My husband said his cactus smash burger was very good. I got the chicken bacon ranch. It was huge and delicious. The specialty drinks were good. The service was good. They did have only one cook working at the time and we had a big order. They did a really good job of getting the food ready. We would definitely go back there to eat.“

“Breakfast critic: 2nd best place to eat around here outside of my own kitchen! First visit and I am hooked. Wedding soup was so close to moms recipe I almost cried. Omelet was phenomenal. If I could have given them a 10 they would have got it. Highly recommend!!!! Can't wait to come back to try the dinner menu. Been to a lot of places for breakfast and this one takes the cake. And that banana creme pie is calling. Do yourself a favor and stop in sooner than later.“

“Delicious! Great steak wrap and chicken wraps! Fresh homemade cut fries! The atmosphere is perfect for a neighborhood bar. The owner is friendly and gracious. The bartender Rachael pours a perfect beer! Get the wings, Sierra chi sauce is excellent. So happy I live close by this wonderful nugget. Keep up the great work Chubs!“

“Went after a long bike ride and really enjoyed the experience. The waitress was awesome and brought us over pitchers of drinks for refills. The pizza was good not great, and same with the Buffalo chicken wrap. The corn bread stole the show and was a delicious desert. Perfect resturant for GAP trail riders.“
