“First time here! Came in a little more than an hour before closing. End of their busy hour, seated promptly and waitress was very accommodating and sweet! Ordered cheeseburger platter and also the honey mustard chicken sandwich with fries! Honey mustard chicken sandwich was very good! Next time I get it, I’ll ask for no tomato as it was messy. Entirely on me. Bacon on the sandwich was perfect.

Both platters were nicely presented! If we had to complain about one thing, it would be that the burger didn’t seem to have any seasoning. Would have been nice if it had a little more flavor, but overall not a bad sandwich.

Love the batter dipped french fries fries they were very good!

The wait was a little long, about 35 minutes! Everything was very hot tho, which made up for the wait!

Definitely will be back and can’t wait to bring my husband with me to try out some of their other selections.“

“Food was amazing! So greatful we tried this restaurant for the first time the other night in Poland ohio. We're still fairly new to the area and wanted to try something different. We chose The 🔥 Fireplace and were pleasantly surprised by the food and the prices. For under 60.00 I fed my family of 4 with an amazing meal. The burgers were juicy and fat, the fries were crisp but not burnt or over seasoned, and the chicken 🤗Absolutely delicious. The employees were very courteous and friendly. “You can’t beat a meal at Knoll Run Golf Course. I believe now it is officially called The Double Eagle at Knoll Run. I’ve been here more that a few times & have never had a bad meal or experience. They have some awesome hamburgers & pasta dishes. I was craving a deli sandwich this day & was interestedto see what they offered. I saw a Philly steak sandwich and know that was the winner. Our seating options were tables or at the bar, I figured a beer with my sandwich would be nice, so we chose the bar. The barmaids/servers were very cool, we had playful banter & they were very friendly. They took our drink & food orders & had our beers out quick. A few minutes later our orders were up, my Philly steak was perfectly prepared. A nice heaping of steak, lots of cheese, nicely sautéd onions on a toasted hoagie bun. I very much enjoyed my sandwich & beverage , even had a couple more beers for good measure. I must say that I really liked the atmosphere as well, a good crowd of locals, everyone was in a good mood & it felt like cool local bar. I noticed at least 5 TV’s, so definitely a good place to enjoy the game & great food. The bar was also properly stocked, I’m certain that they have your favorite beer or liquor. Again, this is one of my local haunts, so stop in and check it out, you won’t be disappointed.“

She knew exactly what to recommend, showing both excellent menu knowledge and the ability to read her guests.

I ordered the filet mignon from the premium cuts menu, and I have to say, it was cooked to perfection. In my experience, medium-rare steaks often come out either overcooked or underdone, but the chef here truly knew what they were doing. It was spot-on.

I personally enjoy A1 steak sauce with my steak, and usually I can’t eat steak without it. But this filet was so flavorful that I barely used any sauce at all, and honestly, it would have been just as delicious without it.

The food looked as good as it tasted, and the décor created a very pleasant dining atmosphere. What really stood out, though, was the service. Managers were walking around greeting guests, checking on servers, and making sure meals were enjoyable. You could tell the staff genuinely cared about their work and even seemed to enjoy it.

“We had an event at the hotel that required not only catering but audio visual equipment. The staff was great to work with and made sure we had what we needed. The ballroom was perfect and they listened to our requests. Food was served on time and they helped us have a fantastic event. Would not hesitate to go back for the next one!“

“As first time customers to any Twin Peaks, we had a 100/10 visit! We noticed the 29° cold beer sign and that was our cue to visit. The hostesses were kind, the food was delicious and the beer was COLD- that was the seller to return, then we met Emma, our waitress! Emma was beautifully kind inside and out. I could have given a lesser review only because of the “attitude” of the hostesses and a few other waitresses but Emma made it 100%. We will be back to visit Emma! I hope she sees this and is recognized for her over the top customer service and kindness!“

“All five stars? Well, it must have been Saturday, I must have gotten a rack of ribs with extra sauce that were smoky good, and the bartender must have done a great job taking my order and getting me a beer.

Seriously, I was absolutely impressed by the ribs. Cooked over charcoal or wood because the smoke ring was perfect, as were the ribs. No fat (NO fat!) and just a slight char on the ends. There are a lot of great rib joints around Youngstown, and since it's harder and harder to find roast lamb on Saturdays, ribs are my safety pick. The ribs at the Royal Oaks were perfect, better after I got them home and slapped them in a casserole and baked at 250 tightly wrapped for like 40 minutes. Absolutely great flavor that will impress anyone who likes a nice rack of ribs.

Lisa is by far the fastest friendliest waitress in Ohio. There is another waitress there that is amazing I do not remember her name but her husband cooks there. “A friend and I went and we had there Tuesday Pizza Special. An 18 inch pizza with 3 toppings of your choice, a family sized mixed garden salad, and endless Soft Drink refills for $22. A very reasonable deal and their Pizza is right up my alley. It's a thin crusted pie and their sauce is more on a sweeter side than Tart.
In an area that has wonderful Local Pizza Shops they compete very well. 👍“

“First of all, welcome to historic and homey! This place is our go to for some awesome pizza!!! They have a great selection of food and beers. The atmosphere, side conversations, and of course on the bartenders, MAGGIE, are absolutely something to experience. One app recommendation would be the hot pepper cheese balls! Also the pizza sauce is made with green peppers, so be prepared for flavor. This place is ALSO from 1945. So stop, love it, come back.“
