“Ordered delivery through Uber Eats. 1st time trying Crave. My husband got the Dynamic Duo and Baked Fries. He couldn't finish the 2nd Brat. I ordered a Hot Dog, Chili Fries with Cheddar and Sweet Corn Nuggets.The food arrived hot, and was delicious! We will be eating here again!“

It's a bummer that they don't have options to dine in or order online, but the ribs are worth it. They shred easily even with a flimsy plastic fork, and the sauce is the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. I've been looking for great BBQ, and it was just down the street all along.“

“We love this place. The dining area is small and cozy. I have never been disappointed with anything I've ordered. If I could eat here every day, I would. We used to live close, and after moving, we still think it's worth the 45-minute drive. The staff is super friendly, food is fresh, and you can feel the love and hard work that goes into each dish. “Absolutely the best Barbeque joint in and around Pittsburgh! I will even go as far as to argue it's the best on the East Coast! Great pricing, and even better food. You will not leave here hungry, the portion sizes are perfect, sides are to die for, and the speed of service is incredible! 10/10 will recommend to anyone who likes BBQ even a little bit. I will most definitely be stopping here any time I'm in the area.“

“Went to a private party upstairs, about 40-50 people, a little tight for moving around with plenty of seating available for all. Food was good, wings hot with a variety of sauces to use, Mac and cheese bits and burritos. Had pulled beef and chicken on slider buns. Mac and cheese was very good-creamy. Open bar with fair choice of beers and liquor for the party.“

“Probably the best meatloaf I've ever had. The portion was very sizeable and the price was amazing. The people working there was very very friendly. I waited for my take out and they treated me like I was a regular. The mini cornbread was ridiculously good. I could eat a dozen and not blink an eye. I will definitely be back.“

To enter the restaurant, walk into the apartment building and follow down the stairs into the banquet room.Parking: There is no lot but there are plenty of places within walking distance where you can find free parking. No one is going to ticket you if you want to use a lot immediately in the area for take out.“

“Stopped in for dinner on a Thursday evening and they were rather busy, but since it was just me, I sat at the bar. Service was very good. Food came out promptly and was very fresh and tasty. My filet was cooked perfectly to temperature! The shrimp that came with it was very tasty and fresh as well. Their mac & cheese was awesome!This place is sooo much better than Texas Roadhouse!!! Still not understanding the draw to TR, but I would choose Longhorn over it, especially since I’ve tried both and TR was true to form – terrible.I’ll definitely return!!“

“Very nice place with fantastic service and great food! I have been procrastinating stopping here for awhile now and am glad I finally did. I was welcomed by a cozy atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. They are also not lazy as the place was decorated very nicely for Halloween. The person that waited on me was very pleasant and helpful. Without asking she also brought out samples of their sauce with fresh bread to help make a decision. The sauces are tomato based and in my opinion very tasty and well thought out. This is Mon Valley BBQ as advertised. Please ignore the less than perfect other reviews from customers who didn't do their research before ordering. The sauces are very good. Everything I saw and ordered was cooked with love over a indoor wood burning open pit. The smells emanating from this place have always been and were amazing. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and ghost pepper fries and am very impressed with the quality. Also the prices are very reasonable considering the portion sizes. Do not eat breakfast before coming here! You will not leave broke or hungry. Please stop in and patronize this wonderful business. I will be back practically every weekend moving forward!“

“We had not been to a Texas roadhouse in years. We were in the Bridgeville area and decided to grab some drinks and lunch. Everything was perfect. Nicole the bartender was friendly and attentive. The food was great. My chicken fried steak was huge, tasty and tender. This was a good pick.“

“I've been to two college "date-parties" here and both were great! The food was very tasty including chicken fingers, pasta with sauce, onion rings, fries, and salad. The food also never ran out which is so important for an event like this. The bar tenders were quick and efficient while still being friendly (which is hard with 50+ college kids all trying to order). The space is really nice and we all enjoy the fact that there are two rooms. I've never stopped in without attending an event, but I'd guess the service and drinks are just as good!“

“City Kitchen was a self-driven experience that gave off upscale vibes. We walked in and my 9-year-old was delighted that he was empowered with so many options. After choosing a large comfy booth, he proceeded to use my phone to order from the vast menu.As I was putting my order in the staff brought over cutlery, glasses, and water. You pay as you enter your order on your phone, so there are no wasted trees (physical receipts). The food is then delivered promptly to your table.It felt like the Jetsons came and took over 2024 and packed flavor along with it. We enjoyed the food and our experience, we will be back!“

“We went here with our son and his wife, who live in the area. From the moment we walked in, my stomach was growling from the delicious scent of smoked meats! From the many delectable-sounding choices, I finally chose the pork taco and an apple chicken taco. Wow! The first bite had a kickback of spice that I wasn't expecting, but as I got used to it, I loved it! Oftentimes, spice overrides flavor, but this time, the pork was so tasty that everything blended well! Unfortunately, I didn't get to taste the chicken one I ordered because I was too full. I took it back and ended up forgetting it in my son's fridge. Oh well! My daughter-in-law had recommended it and will enjoy it. We'll just have to go back next time we visit.“

“My boyfriend and I decided to stop by here for a quick bite yesterday afternoon. It was super quaint and I love how the decor tells a story about Spork Pit’s past history as an auto body shop. It was super cool to see all the memorabilia, especially the vintage car they have hanging over the bar. For our meals, I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs, Gouda mac and cheese, and collard greens. My boyfriend ordered the brisket sandwich with a side of tater tot casserole. For starters, the ribs were HUMONGOUS and definitely a great value for the price. The dry rub they used on the ribs had a sweet/tangy taste and it was delectable. The mac was super cheesy and seasoned well. My boyfriend said his brisket was super tender and the casserole was a hit (so of course, he had no leftovers whatsoever because it was so good!). I truly enjoyed the food here and I hope to return very soon.P.S. they’re undergoing a mass renovation soon, so stay tuned to see what the future holds for Spork Pit.“

“My coworker and I stopped by last Thursday for a quick bite and some drinks. I ordered the smoked buffalo chicken dip, which was fairly tasty but a smidge too spicy for my liking. The tortilla chips were fresh and seasoned well. My coworker ordered the Cuban sandwich with collard greens and other than his bread being extremely over cooked, he said the sandwich was good. The greens were definitely one of his favorites. We also ordered a margarita flight, which gets an A+ off the presentation alone. We also came on R and B night (I assume because that’s what the DJ was playing) and thoroughly enjoyed the vibes. All and all, I’d be willing to come back again.“

“I don't live in the Pittsburgh area anymore, but we were visiting relatives, and wanted to pick up takeout for about six people. Chinese food like everything else is getting extremely expensive compared to what it used to be. But not this place. The food was outstanding and fresh Perfectly boxed up for us and exactly what we ordered the way we wanted it. Very cool experience. Not easy to find Chinese restaurants in Pittsburgh that have egg foo young. And this restaurant makes egg foo yong perfectly - crispy, and not greasy. And the price is extremely competitive and less than most. Also enjoyed their happy family and eggrolls. But again, this is a better restaurant for takeout, even though they do have comfortable tables to sit in, but they're very limited.“
