Dinners included Blackened Salmon; Salmon Tacos; Burger and special of the day - Barbecue Ribs. They were complimented with fresh veggies that were really different, fresh and yum. “Let me say it’s a beautiful restaurant. It has a nice grand feel. Service was very good. Food was ok. Duck was very good but it could have been half of it and cheaper. Potato wedges kind of boring. Pork tenderloin was overcooked. Demi was very good. Mushroom soup was excellent through I believe people really only like cream of mushroom so putting a few pieces in the bottom I did not like. The rolls to start the meal are boring. It needs something more exciting and maybe a flavored butter would be great. We will be back though.“

“The food was absolutely amazing! We stopped during a random trip to go see a cow at a local farm through our daughters school. This was a completely random stop for food and we didn't go wrong. The food was all homemade and you could taste the difference. The staff was very friendly. Highly recommend for anyone who is out this way and looking for good homemade cooking.“

“I think they are off to a good start. The menu seemed limited but I did hear they were updating this. The fried pickles were awesome and a very large portion. My son absolutely loved the chicken and biscuits and said it was the best he ever had. The wings were just average and needed more sauce but had potentialto be a 5. The service was great and everyone was friendly. Its really large inside and great for watching football, hanging out with a group of friends, or even having an event or party.“

Cash only establishment but there is an ATM on site. One thing - I like hot tea with honey and sometimes the honey packets aren’t that good. Dark and gloppy(it’s probably fine - just unappetizing looking as it’s dropping into my tea). I know you probably have to buy a hundred at a time and don’t give out that much so (just a suggestion), it might be better to just not offer it. I consider it a “bonus condiment” lol. If server says “sorry we don’t have honey”and I end up using sugar - it’s not a big deal…and I would have just stopped writing after my compliment lol. I do love your place. It’s cozy.“

“I had my first date with my now boyfriend here so this will always be a very special place/time for me/us. The waitress was wonderful. I wish I could remember her name. She was very patient with us as we took our merry old time to order because we were too busy chatting to read our menus so we could let the poor woman do her job. She was so sweet and accommodating checking every so often to see if we had "decided yet." We sat for quite a long time without being bothered by staff or other patrons. Perhaps we were in Gaga land but the food was great just as the entire evening was and continues to be up to this very moment!! ♥️🤗😁“

“I absolutely love it here, i’ e had many philly cheesesteaks before but the one they made me was the best cheesesteak i’ve ever had outside of philly. Definitely a 10/10 I recommend this place. Not big on sweet sauce on pizza but the way they do it is actually really good!! The salads are also bangin, the grilled chicken Caesar is my personal fave bc the chicken is on point. The fried mushrooms are really good too bc you can tell they’re not the shitty cheap ones they’re legit and go great with the sauce! The staff is so kind as well and the delivery guy is hella sweet 🤭💖

My wife and I signed our venue contract one-year to the date ahead of our big day, with a different coordinator, one who ultimately ended up transitioning to a different organization just a week before our tasting was scheduled. For a couple planning a wedding, especially so close to their big day, this would normally have been an incredibly stressful change to hear about, however, we were expeditiously contacted by Hannah and met her days later at our tasting – immediately after meeting her we knew we were in great hands, and we both agree that our initial impression was spot on. Hannah’s attention to detail, flexibility, and knowledge have continued to impress ourselves, our parents, and our guests who experienced a phenomenal wedding just this past weekend. She not only hit the ground running with our event, but confirmed several details and was able to work with us to ensure our wedding day was as perfect as possible. While I have personally sent messages to several friends I know who are engaged and looking for venues, I wanted to share this note here for those couples looking for venues – Stokesay should 100% be on your list; the charm, history, venue, and staff will all make your big day as perfect as you could ever dream of – if anything, just go check it out – once you see this in person you’ll see exactly what we are talking about.
