“I've been buying icream cakes here for birthdays for over 30 years and they are always the best. First it was daughters now it's grandkids. These cakes travel to other states because they are in demand! This year a granddaughter asked for a cupcake ice-cream cake. I put the request out there and the wish, though not on the menu, was granted. I couldn't be more pleased. These guys are the best and I highly recommend getting your desert cakes there!!!“

“In regards to the Sinking Spring Rita's... No problem with the food itself. But after waiting 25 minutes in line, I was greeted with super rude customer service. Ordered a watermelon gelati, small, took a breath to keep talking, but the girl already turned away and started making it in the back, before she knew what flavor custard I wanted. She made vanilla and another girl asked if that was all. I asked for a twist for my custard and the original girl said "it's already made" and I said "I didn't finish my order" and my partner said "can you make it again please" after she gave us silence. Then she said "next time say that when you order" and I said "you walked away." Then we paid and resumed our lives. She was ready to walk away before I even told her what size I wanted. At the very least ask what flavor custard I want if you thought I was done ordering, don't just walk away without knowing what the customer wants. Incredibly rude to then imply I have to take the wrong order simply bc you made it wrong. So to the short blonde chick working last night (04/28/24) at this location around 6:30pm, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and say maybe you had a bad day or were stressed bc the line was long and you were busy; however, use this as a chance to reflect and learn how to manage your mouth and take accountability for your actions, esp at work, bc you were just unnecessarily rude when you were the one who messed up. Or just take the customers whole order first.“

“This is my first time dining in this establishment. Indoors has pretty limiting seating but DO NOT let that stop you from coming. Cheap and delicious true diner food. The grilled cheese is gooey and delicious. The fries are regular delicious fries. The fried pickles are one of the best I’ve ever had. A appetizer and meal only costed 15 dollars in total. LOVE THIS! “just enjoyed the best blizzards here at the 5th street location! the past couple of years have been terrible and once we heard they are under new ownership we decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint! the young man who book care of us was extremely professional and kind and we are so incredibly happy the dairy queen is back to how it used to be in the 90s, thick filled well blended blizzards and friendly staff! will be back! soon!!“

“We stumbled upon this restaurant waiting to see Reading Phillies game . Fell in love as soon as we went in , being from NE Philly loved the Philly decorations. Next up the food it was delicious and filling . Staff very personable , owner loved chatting up Philly . We truly will be back and pass the wird to our Philly families .“

“The ice cream is fabulous, the girl working at about 845 this evening could use some customer service training. Not even an attempt at being friendly or courteous. Even rolling her eyes when I upsized my girlfriend's ice cream. Very short responses to just get us out. No toppings offered. Not quite rude, but definitely not welcoming or friendly in any way. I'll be back for the ice cream, hopefully the service will meet the same expectations that the ice cream does when I return.“

“This is an outlet store. Front room is new product, usually same price as retail stores, can often get cheaper if on sale at retail stores. Front of store also offers fudge, ice cream sundaes, and limited selection of assorted candies sold by weight.

“Had the best time last night with a party of 8. All appetizers and dinners were delicious. I cannot stop thinking about the homemade tomato Gorgonzola vinaigrette. I almost licked my plate. You cannot beat this homemade food. We will be eating here regularly and will tell all of our friends!“
