“I am originally from Philly and finding a cheesesteak in Lancaster County has been impossible! I have come to the realization that adding pizza sauce to a cheesesteak is the norm. Adding pizza sauce makes it a Pizza cheesesteak and I am often looked at as crazy when I ask for Ketchup instead of Pizza sauce. I have to say that this Pizza place has hands down the best damn cheesesteaks in Lancaster County. The rolls are not homemade from Pizza dough and are actually soft and delicious. My only complaint would be they are a little light on the meat but that's not going to stop me from visiting again. The older lady at the counter was personable. She greeted everyone with a smile as they walked in the door and her service was spot on! If she was having a rough evening, it didn't show. If you are looking for a REAL cheesesteak, this is the place. Just tell them to hold off on the Pizza sauce!“

“Small but great pretzel place!! I got a pizza pretzel which was a hefty croissant shaped pretzel STUFFED with pepperoni, cheese, and pizza sauce. It was soooo good and hearty. I got it on a whim and greatly enjoyed it. I also got a regular salted pretzel that was very good, nice chewy and doughy! I highly recommend a stop in if you like pretzels.“

I have tried ALOT of pizza in my life n I do reviews. I was really impressed on how good this was a true NY style pizza. Thin crust, well cooked undercarriage, good amount of tasty sauce with just enough cheese with zero grease. Highly recommend it here n just wished it was closer. Also, prices extremely reasonable to where I live.“

“We were in this PA area for only about 1/2 hour but I am very glad we chose to stop here! I was curious about shoo-fly pie and was thrilled when we walked in and were promptly offered a free sample of shoo-fly pie! It was delicious! There were plenty of other baked items for sale and the prices were really reasonable. I got a small plate of snickerdoodle cookies and my son got a peanut butter whoopie pie, and they were really good. The prices of the other souvenirs were pretty good too. Recommend stopping here.“

“We stumbled upon this gem at a kiosk at the hotel we are staying at and we can never turn down BBQ. 😂 the food was great, the service was great, and everything was fast, hot and perfect. Mark was our waiter and he was amazing. Not only is he a great server (i know because I worked in this industry), he’s incredibly kind and hilarious. We came for my birthday, which he knew. When I said no to dessert he asked if he could bring me a scoop of ice cream with a candle, to which I said “sure, but no singing!” Well when he came back to the table with another employee he loudly pronounced “on the count of 3!” Like they were going to sing and counted down then walked away. It was incredibly funny. Thank you, Mark, for making the night memorable!“

We stayed in the Carriage House—very clean rooms with their own parking, and just a short, easy walk to the main hotel. The complimentary breakfast buffet for guests was a highlight—especially the made-to-order omelettes, which were absolutely delicious! The shops on-site are super cute, and the pool and playgrounds kept the kids happily entertained. A relaxing, family-friendly getaway—we’d definitely stay again!“

“This was our first visit to the Fulton Steamboat Inn after a family recommended it—and it was such a fun experience! I mean, who wouldn’t want to sleep on a steamboat? The rooms have so much charm and felt slightly updated while still keeping that cozy, themed feel. Everything was super clean, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. The kids loved the playground and pool, and we all enjoyed strolling around the little lake—especially spotting all the baby ducks! The only downside was that breakfast isn’t included. “Wanted to mention an experience we had with the Chili's in Wyomissing PA. We had a party of 7, 5 adults and 2 very young children. Great staff, seated quickly, ordered quickly. Then a medical emergency happened in the back to a young woman which resulted in our food being dropped. Manager Dan came out and apologized and told us what happened. The night became less about food and more about the young woman being fine. She was checked out - ambulance called, etc. and got treatment. Our food was prepared again and we still had a great meal and finished our night. Then our server, Giavana, advised us the manager was comping some of our meal for the extra time. And then she had to adjust the bill since we needed it split. All taken care of and we paid, but made sure to give a little extra to Giavana for her service and then gave Dan some money to give to the woman with the medical emergency since she lost wages when she had the episode. The meal became more about people and not food and our meal and how quickly we were served and could go home. Bottom line, take care of the restaurants and employees that do everything they can to give you a great meal and experience, and especially when they go above and beyond when an issue happens out of their control, yet they take care of it and worry about your experience. Shout out again to Dan and Giavana and Chili's Wyomissing PA for our night. And best wishes to the young woman and her medical issue, that she recovers and gets back to work.“

“Just had dinner at Bird-in-Hand Restaurant- the smorgasbord was amazing! So many choices! Everything was hot and delicious. The cheeseburger soup was very good! The homemade rolls- very yummy! Shrimp, ribs, mashed potatoes! Salad! I even had a mango slushy! Definitely the place to eat. Can’t wait to come back and try breakfast! Oh and dessert! Wow! Pies, puddings, amazing. Very Lancaster County authentic food! Loved it!“

“My family and I really enjoy yoders because you can get a variety of options for the buffet instead of getting the full buffet is you don't have a huge appetite. It is a quiet and calm atmosphere that makes your meal enjoyable. The staff is kind and helpful. The food is delicious and filling. The grill is a delight with foods cooked right in front of you. Their brunch is so good and authentic pennsylvania dutch foods.“
