“I am originally from Philly and finding a cheesesteak in Lancaster County has been impossible! I have come to the realization that adding pizza sauce to a cheesesteak is the norm. Adding pizza sauce makes it a Pizza cheesesteak and I am often looked at as crazy when I ask for Ketchup instead of Pizza sauce. I have to say that this Pizza place has hands down the best damn cheesesteaks in Lancaster County. The rolls are not homemade from Pizza dough and are actually soft and delicious. My only complaint would be they are a little light on the meat but that's not going to stop me from visiting again. The older lady at the counter was personable. She greeted everyone with a smile as they walked in the door and her service was spot on! If she was having a rough evening, it didn't show. If you are looking for a REAL cheesesteak, this is the place. Just tell them to hold off on the Pizza sauce!“

“Some of the best pretzels I've ever had. They make it right there, freshly made. It's a small place, and not really a place to sit down and eat, there is outdoor seating. It wasn't a beautiful day out LOL, so I got to go. I decided to get a sour cream and onion pretzel. I loved how fresh and buttery they were. The sour cream and onion pretzel was a nice twist. Parking can probably get a bit crazy on busy days. Definitely drop by if you love pretzels like I do.“

“I spent 3 days in Lancaster n I went on one bite pizza appt for best pizza in lancaster n out of the top 100 places only 4 places impressed me n Pizza City was one of them n not far from the motel where I was staying at so, it was a no Brainer. I have tried ALOT of pizza in my life n I do reviews. I was really impressed on how good this was a true NY style pizza. Thin crust, well cooked undercarriage, good amount of tasty sauce with just enough cheese with zero grease. Highly recommend it here n just wished it was closer. “We were in this PA area for only about 1/2 hour but I am very glad we chose to stop here! I was curious about shoo-fly pie and was thrilled when we walked in and were promptly offered a free sample of shoo-fly pie! It was delicious! There were plenty of other baked items for sale and the prices were really reasonable. I got a small plate of snickerdoodle cookies and my son got a peanut butter whoopie pie, and they were really good. The prices of the other souvenirs were pretty good too. Recommend stopping here.“

We stayed in the Carriage House—very clean rooms with their own parking, and just a short, easy walk to the main hotel. The complimentary breakfast buffet for guests was a highlight—especially the made-to-order omelettes, which were absolutely delicious! The shops on-site are super cute, and the pool and playgrounds kept the kids happily entertained. A relaxing, family-friendly getaway—we’d definitely stay again!“

“We stumbled upon this gem at a kiosk at the hotel we are staying at and we can never turn down BBQ. 😂 the food was great, the service was great, and everything was fast, hot and perfect. Mark was our waiter and he was amazing. Not only is he a great server (i know because I worked in this industry), he’s incredibly kind and hilarious. We came for my birthday, which he knew. When I said no to dessert he asked if he could bring me a scoop of ice cream with a candle, to which I said “sure, but no singing!” Well when he came back to the table with another employee he loudly pronounced “on the count of 3!” Like they were going to sing and counted down then walked away. It was incredibly funny. Thank you, Mark, for making the night memorable!“

“The Long Way Home hosted my husband’s 50th birthday party this weekend. They did such a great job from the room to the food to the service! It was awesome. We had 50 people in the Club Room, which is lovely and charming. They were so accommodating with my questions and requests and never made me feel badly for asking silly things! The server was amazing; she helped with setup, decorations, advice on table placement, checked in on the food, bar tab, cleanup and leftovers. It was a wonderful time and I highly recommend using The Long Way Home. The prices were fantastic also!“

“Love this restaurant. We live locally so when we want Chinese but don't want to dine in, this is our go-to for Chinese take-out(get take-out from here at least once a month). Have never eaten inside, but it seems like a great place to eat. Great, friendly people and great, reasonably priced food. THUMBS UP

“Had an amazing experience at Chili's on Tuesday! John, the manager with the glasses and beard, went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. He was incredibly kind and helpful throughout. He checked in with us, cleared our dirty plates, and kept our drinks refilled without me ever having to ask him. It's clear that he takes pride in making sure every customer feels valued. Chili's is lucky to have him on the team. Highly recommended, I commend him for a raise! With him leading, I’m surely going to be back on another Tuesday afternoon!“

“This was our first visit to the Fulton Steamboat Inn after a family recommended it—and it was such a fun experience! I mean, who wouldn’t want to sleep on a steamboat? The rooms have so much charm and felt slightly updated while still keeping that cozy, themed feel. Everything was super clean, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. The kids loved the playground and pool, and we all enjoyed strolling around the little lake—especially spotting all the baby ducks! The only downside was that breakfast isn’t included. We didn’t try the on-site restaurant, but there are plenty of great local spots nearby. Overall, a fun and memorable stay—highly recommend!“

“Just had dinner at Bird-in-Hand Restaurant- the smorgasbord was amazing! So many choices! Everything was hot and delicious. The cheeseburger soup was very good! The homemade rolls- very yummy! “We went for the dinner buffet. Several options, all tasty. No fighting crowds like other popular Lancaster area smorgasbords. Everything seemed homemade. My husband said the lemon meringue was great and he's really picky about that since his mom used to make pies. An added bonus is that they have a grocery store right there too, where travelers can grab whoopee pies and shoe-fly pie.“
