“Hoagie Hut is one of those rare spots that just gets everything right. The sandwiches are amazing and the customer service is even better. The owners make you feel welcome the second you walk in, and I appreciate that because you can tell they really love what they do.

The food is always great and the whole experience makes you want to come back again and again. My only wish is that they were open more during dinner hours because I’d definitely be there more often. This place is a gem and I can’t recommend it enough.“

“The Whitpain Tavern is my go to neighborhood bar and restaurant. Great food, friendly employees and some of the best cocktails out there. The bar has it's share of regulars and it is always fun to go in, have a drink and talk with everyone at the bar. Tina who works behind the bar during the day is one of the best bartenders out there. Friendly, attentive, remembers her customer's names and knows her craft. Pat and Alex the owners are hands on, there every day and take pride in their establishment. Two super nice people that get to know their customers. The Whitpain is like my Cheers and I look forward to my visits there each week.“

“Is the price worth the taste? $17 cheesesteak with fried onions and American cheese (not standard cooper sharp) as I’m old school, all on a seeded roll. Pound for pound, you are getting some fantastically seasoned steak, and a lot of it!
Listen, people are going to say what their favorite steak shop is, this one is close to my house, but I’d still travel to Dalessandro’s , but this place is pretty much just as, if not better than Dalessandro’s. It’s a pricey sandwich, and I think it comes out to the same amount of 2 Dalessandro’s sandwiches, so there’s that statistical difference.

I ate half, split with my wife, and hulled out the other, then filled a Pyrex 7 cup bowl as seen in the picture, and that’s a lot! I have to say the this place edges out Dalessandro’s because you can sit down and eat at the tables or counter. Dalessandro’s used to have a space to eat inside, but since COVID, have not reopened it which is a shame. I have not had a pizza from this place , but I will.“

They recommended to me the chicken miso bowl and ever since I’ve been hooked to it.
I’m not usually a grilled chicken person but the quality here is so good that it’s become a favorite of mine.

When I walk through the Wayne honeygrow doors, the lovely ladies behind the counter greet me with a “welcome to honeygrow” that I could only liken to the warmth of a mother’s hug. Their smiles are genuine, and they have a love for life. Bowls here are made with love.To hear the ladies banter joyfully as they craft my bowl reinforces the authenticity of the experience. They’re the gift that keeps on giving, and they leave me longing to return. This crew of employees should be the subject of a case study for all other honeygrow establishments. Bri, the event coordinator, worked with me to customize my menu. She was extremely responsive to all my requests. Our server, Nick, truly made the experience exceptional. He was attentive, friendly, and ensured that everything ran smoothly throughout our buffet service, always there to refill drinks and assist the guests. The buffet itself was delicious! My family and I walked in not really knowing what’s going on and one of the amazing team members walked over and helped us by explaining everything that was on the menu. “Super friendly staff! I usually DoorDash their food but I was in the area and decided to stop in and was warmly greeted and pleasantly helped when placing my order. Everyone has a smile on their face 10/10 customer service.

Food is amazing I love their Sriracha tahini sauce, I wish they had it all year round.
I do think it’s silly they don’t take cash tips, they should have a little tip container i paid for my order cash and couldn’t leave a tip.

“We love this place. We live in Philly, but just stumbled on it one day. Maybe it’s the owner, but a visit there feels like a special occasion . The appetizer of pita with a variety of dips is incredible, and filling. Next to come are dishes of souvlaki, falafel, lamb brochettes, vegetables, rice and salad. They are known for outstanding baklava (even for those who think they don’t like baklava), AND chocolate mousse. We have brought relatives and friends here from Washington, D.C. and Harrisburg, and all were thrilled .“

The food is delicious and authentic Dominican, service is friendly, price is reasonable. We ordered our 2020 Christmas dinner and it was all we expected, arroz con gandules to die for, the pernil excellent as usual, sweet plantains perfectly fried.
