“Friendly Atmosphere, Clean and Cute place. The Staff definitely work well as a team. New Server, Derek is excellent and we were sure to relay compliments to the Front of the House Manager. One of the best Omelets and French Toast, we've ever had. Portions were perfect, Omelet was larger than anticipated and perfectly cooked. So happy, we made the trip from Maryland. Mike Travis' is A Must when passing through this gorgeous part of PA. Looking forward to our next visit.”
“Great coffee. Great vibes. When you walk in you’re greeted by the smell of whatever’s fresh out of the oven and the friendliest of smiles. The cortado is perfection, and the pastries are worth every penny.((I haven’t tried the flavored drinks, but with in-house made syrups I can’t imagine they’d be any less fantastic!))The atmosphere is cozy and clean, with a pulse of artsy locality.Definitely worth a visit and maybe staying a while to chat.☕️ ”
“We took the Vintners and had a fantastic time! All the wine was delicious and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. All staff were very personable and went out of their way to make sure we had an excellent time. Will be returning!”
“We absolutely love this place, they have the best bbq in the area and I will not buy it anywhere else! The prices are very reasonable and the staff is amazing, we couldn't ask for a better establishment in town! The best brisket around!”
“Sapporo is hands down, the best Japanese restaurant in the area. We took the trip to Waynesboro from Hagerstown in September for my wife's birthday, and it was more than worth the 1 hour round-trip drive. Their sushi is phenomenal, their service is great, and their owner is terrific. We tried various sushi options, and I can not remember the names of all of them, but we thoroughly enjoyed all of them. Just look at how beautifully they were presented in the included pictures. I can definitely recommend the eel and avocado sushi. That was one of our favorites. My wife and I visited again in February to celebrate Valentine's Day. We got the Eel Sushi, Salmon Sushi, High Rock Roll, Seared Dragon Roll, Sapporo Fever Roll, and Shogun Roll. They were all excellent. If I had to recommend anything, it would be their nigiri sushi. The salmon sushi was so good that I got another one after I finished the rest of my food. It was so fatty and fresh; it served as a nice contrast to the rich sushi rolls we had. I probably could have eaten 10 more of the salmon sushi alone.”
“Great place to go for a treat, for some time out in the fresh air, and to just be in one very beautiful location with the kids’ enjoying time outside in all but the coldest weather ?fun animals, great views and wonderful treatsKid-friendliness: Animals and ice cream need I say more ?”
“I ordered the taco meal with Yucatán style pork, and wow, what a great plate of food! The 3 warm corn tortilla style tacos were LOADED with hand shredded, flavorful pork. Spicy with a sweet flavor. Absolutely delicious. The meal also included refried beans and rice, both of which were excellent. Can’t wait to go back, highly recommend this place!”
“I recall coming here as a young woman. In 40 years, not much has changed. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel like you are with family. The restaurant is clean and well kept. The staff knows everyone, and goes out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and satisfied. The owners are so kind, and are always doing wonderful things in the community. The food here is amazing! It’s definitely the gem of Thurmont!”
“Brio, and it's staff, make for a warm and comfortable atmosphere. They're always helpful is explaining a drink and exactly what's in it.I love their monthly flights as an excuse to try something that I normally wouldn't drink.Infact one of my favorite goto drinks came from a past flight. A brambleberry latte. I would have never thought raspberry and blueberry would taste so good in coffee.Parking: Sometimes there isn't an open spot right out front or even on the side. However, the free parking lot is right off 316 and a nice short stroll.”
“I hope waynesboro appreciates the absolute gem they have downtown. The food was amazing. Boba was great. The atmosphere was comfortable with walls adorned in post-it notes from patrons with sayings and cute drawings. The host was so friendly and I can't see a downtown trip without a visit.”
“Very nice place to eat once or twice a year! The food is always good and the atmosphere is awesome . The Christmas decorations looked so beautiful. What is nice about this place is that the food is brought out at the same time and we all get to eat together . Thanks for a great meal !”
“Just had an amazing Turkey sub! Best sub I've had in a long time! Bread was delicious and the sub is huge! Definitely big enough to split! ? I will be back to try more food for sure!”
“If you want food with fresh taste, this is the place! I always go there!!! Everything taste delicious and staff is so polite and friendly. They do need to watch for cleaning the tables more often (it happened to me just once and the waitress nicely cleaned it up once I asked her to.) Besides that, everything else was good. Organized place, clean bathroom as well and delicious food that doesn't make you feel sick even if you stuff your face. I always take my friends and family there. I strongly recommend the fried calamari and chicken quesadilla.”
“This place was incredible ?! Reminded me of home cooking, and the staff couldn't have been any sweeter! Super kudos to the gal working the heck out of that flat top! ??”
“Stopped on our way to Frederick. What a great find! The wines were all excellent and the service was even better! Morganne and Leah were both friendly and knowledgeable! We really enjoyed having them serve us! Check them out when in the area!!!”
“Best wings we've had in a long time. A great selection of crispy and flavorful wings in a chill atmosphere. We will definitely be back for Wednesday wing night!”
“Wonderful that it is on campus. But it's a noisy place even when not crowded. The soft pretzels are great. The Guinness pour is terrible. It's more bitter than canned Guinness Draught.”
“One of my favorite Soft Serve places. Great selection of flavors prepared while you wait. My favorite is peanut butter. It's usually busy, but the service is great.”
“Great pizza and bread sticks with an amazing sauce! The owner and his wife are incredibly friendly and welcoming. You feel like you are party of the family. This business also does a lot of giving back to the community. Highly recommend!”
“A large queso (small deli container) cost me over $7.50 with tax. It was good, don't get me wrong but the pricing exceeds quality and quantity combined. This will likely be my last visit. The staff seemed in a hurry to get me out the door and unfriendly despite the 2-3 other patrons in booths at the time.”
“Had a great afternoon here! Eli, a new server, was attentive, knowledgeable and super sweet! He made our afternoon very enjoyable. Wines are great and definitely don’t miss the wine slushy. Cute and small winery to spend a relaxing afternoon!”
“Kind of run down seating area but the amazing pizza and prices made up for it!The crust is crispy at the edges but has a great bite to it in the middle. The sauce is flavorful(little sweet) and spread lightly(but plenty) on the dough. Cheese is perfect. Pepperoni just right with spice. Also had a sausage and onions not as good as the pepperoni. Friendly staff! Pricing for 2 large cheese $21- $2 more per topping. Picnic tables (unshaded) if you care to eat outside.”
“First Time here and I am very impressed. Great food, very reasonable prices. I got the Taco-style Quesadilla, my husband got the Philly Hoagie. Just go check it out yourself. I know I will be back! I wish they were right in Waynesboro, puts many places here to shame.”
“This is an adorable tearoom located in the very quaint town of Waynesboro. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend a visit soon!”
“Great value for breakfast food. I ordered the Ham and Cheese Omelet with mushrooms and I was very pleased with the quality for only $8; the service was speedy and the waiter was cordial. My friend ordered the Greek Omelet with asparagus and feta and it looked great, he said it was a good choice. I liked the small, mom-and-pop vibe of the restaurant; I would recommend this to anyone wanting a nice sit down breakfast while at Liberty Mountain Resort.”
“Our favorite after golf stop! Very close to South Mountain Golf Course. Always great food, and friendly fast service. Our regular go to place! Thank you Arturo and crew!”
“I love places like this - a local dive. Cutlery doesn't match, the place needs a rehab, but the food is good, the service friendly and fast and the prices decent. The bathroom is clean - which implies that the kitchen is clean as well. The pies and ice cream are great too. Now, to my ratings - the atmosphere is either a one star or a five star - if you like places where locals hang out to eat, then this is a five - a tourist would rate this a one. This'll be my go to place when I'm in the area.”
“Wow. Impressed! We drive by a lot but never stopped. Glad we did. Great beer....hubby and I tried 2 flights. There was none we did not like. We had food also....so good! Very happy we stopped!”
“This is such a great food stand. Friendly, inexpensive, and such a great hot dog. Stop and get one just the way you like it. I heard pretty soon they are going to have specialty dogs.Parking: 15 spots?”
“Outstanding fresh cut fries with old bay seasoning and Buffalo wings. Hadn't been here for a while. Food was just as expected...fresh and tasty. Great local beer joint.”
