This place is adorable, the people are friendly, food is good with good prices. The only complaint is that the men's bathroom and a very foul odor.One important note: they only take cash and checks.
Camped nearby for a couple of days and came for breakfast. Homey cash-only no-frills diner. Fast, friendly service. I ordered creamed chipped beef on waffle. The waffle was one of the best I’ve had - fluffy, eggy with no doughy texture inside but the creamed chipped beef was tasteless. Salt and pepper made some improvement. My companion ordered a traditional bacon and eggs breakfast. Eggs cooked perfectly and he declared the bacon some of the best he’s ever had. Very reasonable...read full review

Town Hall / Firehouse diner closed awhile back and my brother and I just "discovered" this "Restauran-tey Americana Classico" tucked in the center of town. Ambiance? My 2 star is why we love these places..it's a Diner..the ambiance is " I am hungry, let's eat". Food was very good, prices were great, family owned and operated. We were very pleasantly surprised because we had passed this place dozens of times, now it is a comfort food destination.
