“Very clean in there. My first time for me and my family. Fair price for the amount of food you get especially for dinner portions. I got the general tso white rice and plain lomein. I normally have to add more soy sauce to the noodles but they were PERFECT!! My dad also loved the sweet and sour chicken. His first reaction was “oh wow it’s really good.” What a hidden gem! “This restaurant is awesome! I have gluten and dairy allergies and I can eat here. They use no dairy and can makr most dishes gluten free. In addition, I like lots of vegetables. Today I ordered chicken fried rice gluten free, extra vegetables. They didn't just add more carrots and peas. No, they added broccoli, snow peas, zucchini, and mushrooms!! I am soo thankful to the Rice Inn for their flexibility and above and beyond service. I highly recommend their wonton soup (the best I’ve ever had to be honest) and their steamed dumplings. My boyfriend loves their general tsos and so do I. 10/10 service and experience.“

“My new go-to spot for Chinese cuisine (taking over Jade Grill’s spot). I ordered the General Tso’s chicken and it was delicious! The breading was perfectly crispy and the chicken wasn’t dry. It wasn’t spicy in my opinion, despite being described as such. Perhaps this is simply because of the demographic of the area it’s in—a lot of restaurants around here lower their spice levels. This is understandable and my meal was not lacking in flavor either way! I also got the crab rangoons and they had the most crab flavor compared to other ones I’ve tried here. My husband ordered the Pad Thai and dumplings which he said were delicious.

Unfortunately we did not dine in so I can’t comment on the service or atmosphere.

I am pleasantly suprised about the amount of food I received, enough for two very large lunches. “This place is hilarious. From my understanding the store is closed and they self-doordash to CMU.

You order by texting them on wechat from the couple options they have and they drive down to CMU everyday and meet you on campus in tepper to hand over your food like uberats.

My meal was 12 dollars for a tea, pork ribs, bok choy, shrimp, scrambled eggs and tomatoes and rice. It was delicious and incredibly cheap proportional to volume of food

We took my mother-in-law and father-in-law and they raved about it. It literally is the best food I think we've ever had in our lives the lobster is outstanding the fillet you could cut with a knife in flavored to perfection. The tiger shrimp are amazing. Definitely will be back. Told everyone we know about it absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is beautiful.“
