“Decided to suck up my pride and give this place another chance. Turns out, there's just one bad apple in the bunch. The bartender (perfect manners, kinda hot) The cook (great food, homely soul) The manager.... He reminds me of Wilson Fisk from Daredevil. He lacks customer service and a business can suffer fast with one bad apple.“

“So this is a hard review for me, I live very close (currently). Their wings are phenomenal for the price and the kitchen is open till 10pm. I came in at 9:30 after a late night and the wings were just as good. Wings 5 stars, the rest is 3.5 stars. Atmosphere is not for everyone but a good time and the regulars are very nice. Free shuffle board and a few bucks for pool. It is definitely worth trying on a Wednesday or a late Friday or Saturday night as they are open late and know how to party. I’ve come on quiet Sundays and middle of the week, all was well there too. It’s a solid 4 stars overall and that is a brutal review for a place I truly love. **edit** alcohol is relatively cheap. “We went last night for Taco Tuesday and ordered a few options to share. We ordered the beef empanadas - amazing! Full of flavor and nice crisp, served with pico de gallon and a chipotle sour cream drizzle. The birria tacos - perfect. Beef was great and tacos had a lot of meat. We requested no onions and cilantro and we loved them! Chicken and cheese quesadilla - so good. Packed with meat and cheese and plenty of fixings on the side. Ordered a 50 oz margaritas and it was great and packed with lots of tequila and fruit garnish.“

“The place does not look like much from the outside, the inside is the a cozy dive bar. Awesome super friendly staff kept our drinks and bellies full. The bar is big and had locals and regulars. They were friendly as well. There are a few high top tables and some seating in a small dining room. The food was surprisingly good. The steamers were in a delicious light garlic sauce. They had a chili special the day we went. The chili was hearty and good. The tony sandwich was great. The roll was super soft but not mushy soft. The taverna pasta was huge. Pasta with chicken,shrimp, scallops and crab in a blush sauce. They have live bands and karaoke and trivia on certain nights. Will definitely return for some of the other menu items that seemed good.“

“On Fridays they serve seafood. They have beautiful large steamed shrimp , served cold w cocktail sauce . It's delicious. They also have parmigiana tater tots. Mac and cheese and stewed tomatoes . On Saturdays they have steamed clams in a garlic butter sauce . It's really good and reasonably priced . Service can be a little slow when they are crowded . The ambiance is casual and a little noisy but fun . Enjoy“

“I'm a sucker for Dives lol. Higher-end bars, city rooftops and lounges all have their place, but so do local dive bars lol. Calm casual atmosphere, not smoky or anything inside. Plenty of pool tables and keno that locals play. I got breakfast. Eggs were great, and toast was perfect. Very reasonably priced. People weren't used to newbies coming in but were very friendly. It's a good place to try out if hiking the Canal Path!“
