“Holy deliciousness Batman!!! My absolute favorite lunch spot. Add happiness to your life and get a Brazilian Chicken (or Steak) Sandwich. SOOOOOO GOOD!!!Only open for lunch on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. Closed January through March usually.Right on the Pennypack Trail so the atmosphere couldn’t be nicer.The staff is always friendly and helpful. “The best Korean BBQ in the Philadelphia area. They use charcoal for the grill which gives it a good charbroiled smokey flavor. The waiters cook the meat for you. Most other KBBQ places use electric / gas stove, so the charcoal is super cool.Slightly more pricey than the average KBBQ, but it makes sense because the quality, taste, and authenticity is way above average.The service is very good too. We got on the house korean soda drinks to try at the end of our meal from a kind older man.Def try !! It's super delicious.”

“This place has been on my list for some time and I was fortunate to visit at a downtime. Amongst a city full of pizza shops, Down North stands out among the greats. ENVIRONMENT The restaurant is relatively easy to find and seats no more than 5 or so people in the shop. The wait was a tad excessive which I credited to the food being "made with love". FOOD I love a good piece of focaccia! Another contributor commented that their pizza can be likened to focaccia which I would find to be incredibly accurate. The "Detroit" style was incredibly flavorful accompanied by a heaping of toppings(I settled on the "I'm A Boss"). I will admit the fries left a bit much to be desired but not enough to influence my rating. If you're based anywhere in North Philly between Farimount and Erie Ave, I can confidently say Down North is among the top three picks for the area. Happy eating!”

“Went last week and had an amazing experience especially the assistance we received from our waitress and the pastry chef. I had the one of the special entrees of the day- duck breast and since I’m not drinking, their lavender lemonade was both cute and tasty. A little tart, but very lemonadey. My husband got a ton a stuff that I don’t remember, but he enjoyed every drink, appetizer ( it was a tuna bonbon special) and entree. I’ve driven past this place for years, so it was great to finally pop in. Added bonus, located in northwest Philly which is such an amazing part of the city.”

We had a delicious large family meal this evening - Roasted Red Peppers & Mozzarella, Eggplant rollatini, Caesar salad, calamari, Fusilli alla Polpa Di Granchio, Rigatoni alla Vodka, Pollo ai Limone, Veal ai Limone, Tiramisu and Cannoli. “I've tried a few different Ethiopian places and this is some of the best I've tried. Normally I'm not a huge fan of collard greens but I loved these, they were tender and delicious. The bread was thick and spongey and portioned correctly for the amount of vegetables in the platter. I would certainly return if I were in the area again.”

“From the tasting to after the wedding, Bredenbeck’s was amazing! The cake came out EXACTLY how I expected it to. It was beautiful! And it tasted amazing! All of my guests really loved every layer (each one was a different flavor). We had a small issue with the filling but Bredenbeck’s rectified the issue right away and took accountability! I look forward to visiting them for another cake order in the future!”
