“Take-out pizza was delicious“

“First off, it's important to note that Steel Penny does not allow customization of menu items. They're very rigid about substitutions or adjustments, which feels a bit off-putting and inflexible, especially for those who like to tweak their orders. That said, the Firenze sandwich was phenomenal. It comes with Burrata Cheese, Basil Pesto (nut-free), Arugula, Tomato, Balsamic Glaze, Sicilian EVOO, Salt, and Black Pepper, and you can choose between a chicken cutlet or Prosciutto di Parma. I went with the chicken cutlet, and it was an excellent choice. The rustic Italian bread roll was the perfect base, crusty yet soft enough to hold everything together. Every bite was flavorful, fresh, and well balanced. I also tried the Rose Gold Detroit-Style Pizza, which was very good. The crust was thick but still light, and the vodka sauce was delicious. I added pepperoni, which definitely elevated the flavor. The only real downside was the size, it's only six small slices, and for $20, that feels overpriced. Lastly, I ordered the Pumpkin Spice Latte. I asked for it extra hot, but it came out just warm. The flavor was fine, but I would have enjoyed it much more if it had been served steaming hot as requested. Overall, 4 out of 5 stars. I'd definitely go back for the chicken cutlet sandwiches as they're worth the trip. I'd hesitate to get another pizza at that price point, and I'd skip the latte next time.“

“A good pizza is hard to come by. But every now and then you find one that's really good. That's pizza pie 2. The way they bake their pizza the cheese they use and even the sauce all come together perfectly. Not to mention the owner is one of the most personable and friendly people I met. Pizza pie gets a 10/10 from me..“

“Is the price worth the taste? $17 cheesesteak with fried onions and American cheese (not standard cooper sharp) as I’m old school, all on a seeded roll. Pound for pound, you are getting some fantastically seasoned steak, and a lot of it!
Listen, people are going to say what their favorite steak shop is, this one is close to my house, but I’d still travel to Dalessandro’s , but this place is pretty much just as, if not better than Dalessandro’s. It’s a pricey sandwich, and I think it comes out to the same amount of 2 Dalessandro’s sandwiches, so there’s that statistical difference.

I ate half, split with my wife, and hulled out the other, then filled a Pyrex 7 cup bowl as seen in the picture, and that’s a lot! I have to say the this place edges out Dalessandro’s because you can sit down and eat at the tables or counter. Dalessandro’s used to have a space to eat inside, but since COVID, have not reopened it which is a shame. I have not had a pizza from this place , but I will.“

“What an amazing surprise!! We called EVERYWHERE in Doylestown trying to get prices to cater a backyard wedding of over 70. We called Giovanni‘s on state the week of our wedding and they were not only able to accommodate, but they were the easiest to work with and the most affordable. Then to our surprise the food was phenomenal. Not a single complaint other than I should have ordered more meatballs and chicken cutlets. The BEST in town. We’ll be back!“

“Stopped in for lunch expecting to grab a couple of slices, but learned they don't serve by the slice—so I went with a personal pie instead. The pizza was solid: plenty of cheese, good sauce, and a nice balance overall. Staff was friendly. I’ll consider trying one of their sandwiches next time I stop by, they look good. “Their pizza is delicious, always get a white pie with spinach and mushrooms. Unfortunately their sandwiches are not as consistent. Just ordered three Panini sandwiches. Two veggies and one bruschetta. The bruschetta was as ordered and very good. We only received one veggie Panini and got some other grilled chicken with lettuce and tomato?? Also the veggie Panini on their menu and online says grilled eggplant, instead it was two large fried pieces of eggplant on each half. Very generous sandwich but couldn’t eat most of it because of the fried eggplant.😫“

The mango lassi was the perfect cooling companion to the spice — smooth, sweet, and refreshing.

The paneer tikka masala pizza was a bit of a wild card, but it totally worked. The flavors came together in a way that was both fun and surprisingly delicious. That said, I’m looking forward to trying the paneer tikka masala on its own next time — it seems like a standout dish in its own right.

“My wife and I just tried Jersey's Tomato Pies and Bistro for the first time and it's awesome! There aren't too many pizza options in Holland, Pa and we wanted to try this one. This will be our go to pizza place for the future. The owner and staff are very friendly and their food is top notch. My wife ordered the meatball parm sandwich and I ordered a medium tomato pie. Both were tremendous. The sauce on the tomato pie was like nothing I've ever tasted. Very fresh and a delightful sweetness. We'll be back soon!“

“I met Marcello and Kiley the week before and New Hope and they invited us to come and have dinner this weekend. We went on Friday and had the back room basically to ourselves there was 10 of us. The food service was outstanding! Came and spoke with us several times, the chef came out, and said hello, our waitress Heather was absolutely incredible so efficient, and yet so loving! we were spoiled rotten! Everyone took home so much food because the portions were enormous. The prices were totally reasonable. I highly recommend the Sunday sauce unlike any spaghetti dinner I’ve ever had in my life, including my trips to Italy.! Thank you, Heather, Pablo, and especially Marcello!“

“The pizza was fantastic. I do believe this is mainly for takeout, but there are tables inside. The place was very clean even behind the counter. The special ordered pizza came out really fast. I think it came out less than 10 minutes after we ordered it. It was cooked to perfection. The staff was also friendly and clean. It is conveniently located next to the Mercer museum and we walked to it in about 2 minutes from the museum parking lot. My only complaint is that the dining area is more of an afterthought. But I also have to say, I did notice the cast metal table legs. Nice touch!“

“Having moved to the area recently, my mother had looked for areas where I could eat due to my severe food allergies. And that’s why, 16 years ago as a 3 year old, I ate my first pizza ever (upside down! Haha). Very quickly Jules became my favorite pizza spot. Every few days I would beg my parents (along with my siblings) to get pizza.

I am very fortunate to return here on a road trip after moving out of state, and it seems the pizza has only gotten better! Additionally they now have products from The Happy Mixer (a local gluten/allergy free bakery) which I used to purchase food from a great deal when I was younger.

Thank you Jules for changing my life! You have the best Gluten Free pizza in the world! I love you all <3“

“I came on a mission to try what one reviewer claimed to be the best vodka /pink sauce he'd ever had. While it did not disappoint, maybe not the best I've ever had. Nonetheless, The Southampton Pizzeria and Restaurant has plenty going for it. The pricing is fair, with almost all entrees under $20 at the time of this review. The entrees come with a generous house salad with two of their house made garlic knots. The portions are also bigger than average. The sauces are all house made, which is hard to find at this price point. The menu is inventive and diverse, with a lot of options from appetizers, salads, pizzas and dinners. You'll leave full and with money left in your pocket. I'll be back again“
