“Prices are high. I ordered a buttered roll. There was very little butter on it, and none at all around the edges. If this was a slice of bread, that butter may have been sufficient, but a big thick kaiser needs a bit more to not choke to death on a wad of dry bread.
The atmosphere is really nice and cozy. Almost a tavern feel. Nice music, lots of space. I liked it a lot! However, at the end of the day... It's still a deli, and the food should be the main focus. Maybe next time I come by I'll stop again to reassess.”

“Stopped by to sample the food, Croissant with sausage, egg and cheese was delicious, and the French Toast muffin is a slice of heaven! Can't wait to go back and try a latte.”

“Without question the best food I’ve probably ever eaten. I am writing this review with a full belly and a fulfilled feeling. When we walked in we were warmly greeted and made to feel at home. The woman whose name I wish I had caught made wonderful recommendations and even had a laugh at my boyfriend with me. (He picked a basic chicken meal) sorry to her husband, but I agree the chili sauce added to our ceviche elevated the taste. Not a single dish was even close to being simply “okay.” Do not sleep on this place. The only downside is that I live 2.5 hours away and was only visiting.”

“We loved the food at the Tom X pub! It was delicious The cons; the bartenders during the day are MIA and the place was dead. Not one occasion, BUT two. And two different bartenders. One bartender forgot numerous items we ordered. Another time, a bartender was doing shots with customers at the bar. It’s a shame because the food is so good, but due to the lack of good service, we probably won’t be back.”

“Lunch, ice cream, and lots of playing in the pirate ship! The ladies were so sweet and helpful. We asked for the cones in a cup and they actually filled the cone with ice cream, which was great. So glad this local spot is open (and improved!) after so many years!”

“On my first visit, I thought the food was delicious. It has a small town and cozy atmosphere with several tables. You must order your menu choices and make your reservation a day or more in advance. I can't wait to go back. It's a little hidden treasure. and you won't be disappointed.”

“Love Village Sundaes! Best ice cream around and excellent service. Lisa and Scott really did a great job with this little spot, great comfortable places to sit and relax with a cup or cone outside. And the ability to get a custom ice cream cake put together with your favorite flavors for special occasions is AWESOME! Definitely recommend stopping by and grabbing some ice cream from here.”

“NYC cuisine outside of the tri state area! My family and I traveled from NYC (Staten Island- land of the restaurants) to the poconos for the weekend. My picky Italian kids wanted pizza etc. I’m so happy we found Boscos in the middle of a terrible snow storm. It’s a beautiful establishment with family history and decor on the walls. The owners and staff were extremely inviting and friendly, not to mention attentive. We ordered plain and mushroom pie, fried Calamari, mozzarella sticks and an eggplant roll. All were delicious, perfectly prepared and reminded us of our food back home. We will definitely be back on our next trip to the mountains.”
