The Gingerbread Man Reviews
The food is great and 99% of the staff is excellent besides the 2 younger gentlemen that check IDs at the door. They’re absolute scumbags.
Friendly staff! Food was amazing (and I’m very picky)!
Super packed when we came in so we sat at the bar. A table came open so we moved to it so we could actually talk. Waiter was soooo rude and wouldn’t come serve us. Waited atleast 45 minutes. Kept passing by and told us we couldn’t get drinks at the bar. Then again refused to come to us. Happy birthday to me.

Based on the reviews, The Gingerbread Man in Carlisle offers outstanding food and service. The food is excellent, perfectly cooked, fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. Specific meals mentioned include Garlic Parm boneless wings, chili, and burgers, though the chili is amazing and the burgers are mediocre. The selection of draft beers, cans, bottles, and whiskey is great, with a huge menu. The bartenders are top tier, phenomenal, and incredibly attentive, friendly, and efficient. The atmosphere is described as incredible, lively, and iconic, with beautiful wood. However, some issues were noted. The security guard was extremely rude and unprofessional, with inconsistent enforcement of ID checks. The restaurant also requires wrist bands and ID checks for everyone entering. Additionally, the wings had a lot of grease, and the place needs to be cleaned. Overall, The Gingerbread Man is a cool spot worth a stop in Carlisle, close to the theater and other downtown attractions, with a great selection of sandwiches.
