“We hired Noel at Mami’s Bakes to do cookies for our wedding rehearsal dinner and they were amazing! Everyone thought they were so delicious and had no idea they were vegan and gluten free. The red velvet cookie was totally amazing. We also ordered mini banana bread loaves for our wedding welcome bags and got so many compliments from guests! Noel was so nice to work with and took time for phone calls to make sure everything was perfect. We’ve also done orders just for fun or for holidays which have also all been delicious. Some of us in my family are vegan, some gluten free, and it’s so nice around the holidays to be able to pick up something delicious that everyone can eat. This year we ordered the coffee cake for Christmas morning and it was a huge hit, soo delicious! The cuban coffee cake is also insanely good!“

If you're in downtown Pittsburgh on Thursdays, they sell cookies at the Farmers Market. If you're visiting their shop at lunch, they also have a great buffalo chicken wrap. Definitely stop at Good L'Oven when you have a chance!“

I looked up cookie places and GoodL’Oven cookie shop in Bellevue popped up, I liked the name so I gave them a call😁 Next was where the experience began, I spoke to John, the baker, who listened to my story like he had all the time in the world, he navigated me thru their delicious cookie menu and which cookies are the people pleasers, then I decided to order sandwiches which he recommended the French Connection & Muffalata. But to top it off, (they are typically not a delivery place) he arranged to have my order delivered to my daughter’s place! She was so surprised and raved about the cookies and Sammie’s! “Absolutely delicious! What made it extra special is that they partner with Robert Morris University. At the start of the semester, RMU sent an email about signing up for their birthday club to possibly win a cake! I feel so lucky, and the owners were such amazing, lovely people. We brought this cake to a friends house for soup cook-off. Although we were voting for our favorite soup, everyone agreed the lemon cake was the true winner - there were no leftovers! Thank you for such delicious desserts, and also for your kindness!“

“A friend asked me to pick up a turtle cheesecake. I go here and the lady says we don’t have any made but I have a carrot cheesecake. So I took that and caught “heck” from my friend because it wasn’t what she asked for. I explained that they didn’t have any so she called and was told yes we have 3 turtle cheesecakes. Last time I buy anything there.“

Our family absolutely loves Crumbl! We have some local to us and we always manage to hit any on road trips and such while out and about. How could you not want a cookie the size of a small child’s head?! The photos alone would be worth the purchase!

My daughter had her birthday club coupon to use so we stopped at the one at Robinson. There is a self service check out to place your order. We were having trouble figuring out how to get her free cookie on the self check out, and the worker happily helped us.

As always, walking into the establishment, it was very clean and refreshing. The simplicity just makes it! All of the examples of that week’s cookies were set up on the counter to get a good look at for size and design. The pretty pink color of the boxes would just make anybody’s day. “This place is absolutely outstanding. They’ve been in business since the 80s, and when you walk in, it screams classic charm. I go into some bakeries and everything looks so tidy and boring - this place, you look at the stuff behind the glass and you KNOW it’s gonna be delicious. I had a birthday cake custom made for my wife, and it was perfectly baked. While I was waiting in line to pick it up, I was browsing what was available to munch on - I got an oatmeal raisin cookie for my wife and a pumpkin pie bar for myself - both were delicious. They are so friendly here and I love it. Can’t recommend it enough.“

They took a custom order in short notice, I was trying to find some place that would make a white cake with key lime filling and a key lime butter cream with graham cracker crumble and all the other places said they do not offer that flavor and they made it no questions asked and it was the best cake I have ever had. “I get donuts at the South Fayette location every week and they have the best donuts around! I hope they get their fryer back soon as they are getting their donuts shipped in from another Madsen’s. They are still good but the donuts the ladies make at the South Fayette location are even better!“

The store is immaculate, and one of my favorite things is the double door system at the entrance which deters insects, varmints, and unsanitary conditions that come along with those. Oh, you can also watch the pitas being made through the glass wall as they come off the conveyor and get ready to come to your house.“

Then when I saw the cinnamon rolls & the chocolate snack cakes, I knew I had to make the journey from the North Hills to try them. When I got there, I ordered the cinnamon roll and a brisket, egg & cheddar biscuit breakfast sandwich with no bbq sauce. I was sad that they didn't have the chocolate snack cakes. I asked the young lady who waited on me when was the best time to catch the snack cakes? She said she would check with the bakers. She came back and said that if I was willing to wait, it would only be a few minutes for them to get iced. I waited of course and when I got home, I smelled it and boy oh boy did it smell and look awesome!!! Shout out to the young lady that waited on me. She really went above and beyond.
