“The owners Angel and Kevin do a fantastic job with their staff serving us here on Hamilton Street. I love the chef Antonio he has really put together a nice menu. Come and be served exactly what you want in your burrito bowl! The quesadillas are to Die For in freshly made each day.“
“Based off of my one-taco experience.. The staff are very friendly and the food delicious. I spent some time talking to one of the owners and learned this business opened about 9 months ago and is family-run. They make their tortillas fresh to order and only make small batches of meat throughout the day so that it is always as fresh as possible. As far as I know, they are the only Mexican restaurant around here that makes fresh tortillas. The one owner is trying to convince her sister to make Tres Leches cake for them to sell in the store alongside their flan. If you go, ask them to add Tres Leches cake to the menu so that I can buy it once it’s added ?“
“I didn’t realize how much I loved Orizaba’s tacos until I turned into a total “Karen” today when I *thought* they forgot to give me 1 of 3 orders of tacos I ordered for my family. I was so heated in the moment and called to let them know I only got 2 orders. They told me they were certain I got all 3 orders but I continued to fight them and got more and more upset. They handled it so well while continuing to hold their ground. They agreed to refund me the cost of the tacos. Once I hung up, I got my senses back and figured I should look again. I went back to my car and searched under my passenger seat. To my surprise and absolute embarrassment, the 3rd order of tacos was wedged under the seat. I called them back to apologize for being so awful and they were so kind. I’m writing this review to apologize again! They didn’t deserve my “hangry” wrath! I wish I could give them 10 stars. The food is phenomenal, the restaurant is clean, and the service is quick!“
“The food here is always fresh and splendid, I have no complaints the atmosphere is super cool and chill there’s always some sports on the tv and the customer service is a 10/10Vegetarian options: They have two selections other than the salad.“
“I don’t even write reviews but I had to today. I’ve tried different Mexican restaurants but this one is a hidden gem!!! Their prices are way to generous for how good their food is!! & the portions are veryyyyy generous, ingredients are fresh, the toppings are fresh. I got the steak tacos so if you’re craving a not good but great taco, go order.“
“I love Cali!! Service is great, salsas are great, and the burritos are great. The special burritos are always great too. They are also big enough to feed a small army. Prices are reasonable too, and the atmosphere is sort of a vintage skatery vibe.“
“Im coming from Cali visiting PA I was looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant first time stopping by to my surprise I fell in love with the food at first sight it taste just as great as it looked I liked it so much I might consider moving to Allentown just to be close by the restaurant out of 5 stars ratingthe food 5/5 service 5/5 environment 5/5I had the privilege to meet El Jefe the owner of the restaurant Julio him & his wife were very friendly and welcoming it felt better than being at home being here was a great experience what a way to start the day in Pennsylvania everyone who’s been here knows how great it is and everyone else who hasn’t come down to try it out the restaurant gets 5 stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“I visited Tulum to check out their hard shell tacos that call "The Taco" on their menu. These are fried flour tortillas that are generously filled with lettuce, cabbage, cheese, creme sauce and a choice of meat. I chose pork, which was quite good and reminded me of the filling for a pulled pork sandwich. The only down-side was the tortilla shell broke down during eating and this resulted in a "taco salad" that was finished with the "spork" supplied with the order. It was quite large and a single taco was plenty. I also ordered a pork "mini-rito" which, as the name suggests, is a small burrito. It contained rice, cheese and the same pork used in the taco. My wife chose the vegetarian tacos on corn tortillas with rice and beans. She said they were quite good. Tulum is located directly across fro Lehigh University with street parking and it appears most of their customers are to-go for students. The interior is small and accommodates 13 people if full. Tulum is a good value for what we had and worth returning to again when in the area.“
“The most delicious Mexican I’ve had in this area, and that’s coming from a Mexican! Born and raised on this food, and it tasted like a home cooked meal by my family. I could’ve rated the service a little better but I felt like our waiter could've checked on us a few times during the meal, absolutely authentic, great sauces and quality food. So good that didn’t even get a chance to get photos.“
“I ordered a poke bowl and it was really good! I've never had black rice before and I'm really glad I tried it. They have options for pre-configured bowls in addition to build your own bowls- and a good number of other menu items beside poke bowls. The ordering process was very easy and the options and add ons were clearly marked. Everything was super fresh and I wish I got a picture of my bowl before I devoured it. I will be back for sure!“
“We loved El Paisano!!! A small, cozy vibe. The service was great and the menu had so many choices! Loved their guacamole, burritos, tostadas, and gorditas. I wished the chicken had some more flavor, but we can’t wait to go back and try more!“
“A hidden little gem! This place served up some really good food. I came for a small lunch bite and found it on a google search. I would recommend it if you like authentic mexican flavors. There is no indoor seeting bilut nice outdoor seeting available.“
“I’ve been coming here for a few years now. Food is amazing and really good prices. The food is always fresh, food does not sit. Once you order, they start too cook your food. They have always treated me and others with respect.Resturant/corner store.“
“Me and my husband go here at least once a week for the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito! Its huge and full of flavor. I recommend getting both green and red sauce! Delicious :) highly recommend this place over chain restaurants! The couple that always serve us are polite and friendly!“
“My son and I celebrated Valentine's Day there last night. He loved the tacos. All the food is delicious! Don't skip the dessert! The pistachio cake I had was amazing!!!Everyone that works there is so friendly. Our waitress was wonderful. I didn't get her name but she is a little blonde girl. She even listened to all my son's weird stories and her brother came out of the kitchen when my son wanted to arm wrestle. I think he let him win ?Probably going to be out new spot!“
“Best spanish spot with the best cuban sandwiches! i’ve been going here for a couple month now they have the best cuban sanwhiches for a amazing price i would not pick another place to get food from! bought 2 cuban sanwhiches for 12 dollars!! 10/10 recommend.“
“My first time going here , was there on a Saturday night with a friend. As soon as we sat down we received ice water and chips and salsa, while we looked through the extensive menu. Drinks were imaginative, fun and delicious and our food came quickly and was delicious also. The atmosphere was fun. I will be returning as the staff were so friendly alsoKid-friendliness: We went there late so it was a bit loud on. Saturday night , for children.“
“Everything was amazing! My husband had a chicken burrito with a side of mole sauce. He raved it was the best mole sauce he has ever had (he has had a lot). I went with the shrimp fajitas. Did not disappoint at all. The side of refried beans was great. Prices were super reasonable. Will definitely be going back soon. Highly recommend.“
“Absolutely delicious tacos! A must-try next time you're in Allentown.Tamales have also become a favorite. If you dine in, you'll enjoy the lively corner market vibe, cheerful Mexican music playing, and perhaps a soccer match on TV. Most of all, you'll enjoy your interactions with the family that's cooking and serving your food.“
“It's good, but don't go out of your way. Good food and service. Salsa was fresh and they offered two mixing sauces to add to suit your tastes. Mains were tasty and portions were generous. Cons - avoid the booths. When someone sat down at the booth behind me, the shared seat back smacked me in the back of the head. And every time she moved it jostled me. If we are in the area again, we may stop. But we can get similar fare elsewhere.“
“We were in the area yesterday and stopped here for lunch. Wow! Flavors were incredible. Salsa was fresh and delicious. Ground beef tacos were overflowing and the meat was so flavorful. Mild sauce was yum and sizzling chicken fajitas were amazing! Peppers crisp and chicken moist. So much flavor and enough for leftovers.“
“A friend recommended Cactus Blue. We went there for the first time, and we were very pleased with the food. The food was delicious, and the portions generous. My husband likes spicy, I like mild. They offer you a choice of sauces, so we both were happy. We'll be returning.“
“Perfect place for a bite to eat while out and about visiting my mother at the nursing home. Wanted some Mexican food or some gyros from Theos, but they were closed so found Bubbakoos. Excellent stop and service was good! Their fried Oreos are dangerously good!!! ?and everything else was fab!! Def worth the stop! Will be back!!“
“Stopped in last night for family dinner with my mom and sister. The fresh guacamole was delicious as well as the queso dip!! My sister and me both got the Enchilada’s El Jefe. It was easily one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. The flavor combo was out of this world. Servings were perfect for the price! My sister, mother, and me all had leftovers for the next day. Service was great as well. Our waitress was very nice, welcoming, and patient as it took a little to decide what we all wanted. We decided on splitting the fried ice cream for dessert as none of us had tried it before. It was divine and most definitely a must have!! Thank you Plaza Azteca for amazing service and amazing food. We will most definitely be back again.“
“My wife and I have been customers of Tijuana Tacos for many years and they have never disappointed. Our favorites are the flautas and burritos. Friendly staff and nice restaurant. Glad they are on DoorDash for the times we just want to stay in and order delivery!“
“I ordered from here tonight to take home couldn’t decide what to get so I got a few options. Let’s start off with the price….extremely reasonable pricing and the tacos are STUFFED and they are delicious. They are fresh and flavorful! You can dine in or take out. I will definitely be back.Kid-friendliness: If your lucky you will get to meet their little cherubs who were so well mannered“
“Love it at Tijuana Tacos in Emmaus! Food is always good and the service is great, too. Mauricio is absolutely amazing! He remembers my exact order every time we visit and treats us to well. The tacos Al Pastor are the best in the Lehigh Valley and are alone worth the trip.“
“This small unassuming place is absolutely delicious. My boyfriend says it’s possibly the best Mexican he’s ever had, and that man eats a lot of Mexican. We started with Guac and the chorizo nachos (Chorinachos). We think they may make the chorizo in house and either way, it was so so good. We ordered birria tacos, chorizo tacos (because the chorizo was so good the first time!), a steak and chorizo burrito (what did I tell you), and the Mexico Lindo fajitas. My boyfriend also said it was the best birria tacos he’s ever had. Burrito was great and probably about ten pounds, and chorizo tacos were great. The fajita was seasoned perfectly. Not to mention the prices are extremely affordable. You can’t miss here.“
“Big fan of this place. We stop here often when we go to the farmers market. Great empanadas, enchiladas, and tamales. The owner, Tom, is a super nice guy. My son has never been able to tolerate spicy food but Tom sat down with him and coached him through trying it on his empanadas. Now my son is hooked and I'm glad we picked up some salsa roja for the road. Very friendly, family run place with great food.“
“Shared a great meal over Valentines Day here. The servicer was nice and very attentive. The only disappointing part was that some food was pre-made. I had to change my order 3 times bc I could not request a certain ingredient I was allergic to, green peppers, not be added.Dietary restrictions: Make sure you have serve ask chef if you have food allergies.“
