“The specials they have are incredible. Staff is attentive and kind. Atmosphere is comfortable with large windows. Choices of surf and turf, pasta dishes, and even offer lunch specials during the week! If you get a chance to try their jacked up oysters (usually offered during special events only)-you need to try them! So delicious! Scallops with crabmeat (Nantucket special) were spectacular! Absolute perfection. Their creamed corn is something special and unique. One of my faves. My kids had the chicken fingers and fries - the fries are so good! (Yes..I snuck a few while my daughter was distracted). Do not want to miss out on this place!“

“I am so happy to go back to the store. They have a really really great selection of seafood. My husband went in the store today and we bought almost $400 of seafood and it was so nice to see one owners there. The owners are Carl and Richard. It was a pleasure to see them there And one more thing that was so great the woman that did work there. I was kind of glad she wasn’t there. I didn’t have to wait outside until she’s finished smoking her cigarettes. I didn’t have to hear the foul language that she talk when customers come in. I just found it very disrespectful, but it’s so good to see the owners in the store and they have this wonderful man that works there part time and his name is Eddie. He is such pleasant to be around. He makes you smile he makes you feel welcome. He’s in training, but he will be a great asset to the Store. I am so glad that she wasn’t there. I think her name was Patty smell like smoke when we walked in the door because she would be smoking outside And probably inside. This is a business and Great seafood store She had people hanging out around the store smoking cigarettes. It’s a business. It’s not a truck stop. I can’t wait to go back to get some wonderful seafood again and see one of the owners. It was a pleasure to have them back. It felt like a breath of fresh air. They cater to everybody they have a wonderful place in Orfield that’s the main warehouse they sell the restaurants they sell to every one. The store is just Sister store, but the main place is the warehouse. What’s not in the store you could probably get it at the warehouse if not, they’ll get it. It is so good. I must say it again. “Tonight was the first time I have been to Adagio. We came in as a party of 13. My friend had made reservations so that was a very good idea. We did a Galentine’s day. Our server Cathryn (not sure of the correct spelling) was amazing. They had a large group of regulars that they were unaware was coming in there tonight. We were in no rush but she explained and still managed to get everything done in an extremely timely manner. I love shrimp but didn’t want anything on the menu so I asked if there was a way I could have shrimp scampi so we got that figured out. This was the best shrimp scampi I’ve had in my life. I hope someone can please pass that on to the chef. I don’t know what is in his/her sauce but it was just perfect. There was also a great shrimp to pasta ratio. Cathryn had to keep bringing up crabs for the all you can eat for about 5 of my friends. I can’t speak for them but from the looks of it they were probably I know people complain often about anything lately so I wanted to let people know how much I loved it and I’m looking forward to going back again.“

“Recent Banquet - very disappointed in lack of service. Tables over crowded - 10 at table, so full thought food was going to fall off. Servers did not clear first item of butter plate and bread baskets off table whole night. Never ask if everything ok with dinner, did not refill water, coffee or tea. Had to go to bar to get water. Mignon a bit tuff and expected better than simple green beans and little red potatoes. Better meal at other steak houses. Atmosphere good because we brought our own decorations.“

They got to know the owners and became good friends, so much so that my wife and I were married at Christ Luthern Church a few doors away just so we could all walk over to the Springtown Inn afterwards for our reception dinner. The food and atmosphere were just perfect. We completely forgot to get a cake so they baked one right on the spot. There’s much more to the story, but they made our wedding day a most cherished memory. In fact, today is our 34th wedding anniversary, July 27, 1991. We don’t live in the area so I was very happy to see that you are still in business after all these years. I hope we can get back there one day!“

“Year after year, chophouse surpasses the year before. It's nice to go into a restaurant and Staff greets you with kindness and professionalism. There hasn't been a year that I went there for my birthday and I wasn't remembered. The food is superb. The staff is helpful and discussing the items on the menu they don't rush you. They make you feel like you're the only customers that are important even though the restaurant is full of other customers. Dana was our server and she was amazing which of course made our experience a delight. The manager William is doing an excellent job. He is always present and ready to get us seated and served. “I was very pleasantly surprised how good this sushi was. I got the Eel and avocado, rainbow roll, spicy tuna, and spider roll and we’re all fantastic. Total price was about $38 so it’s not cheap but you get what you pay for. However, you can’t walk in the restaurant (just a little window to exchange) and the front area looks terrible, used as a storage room for everyone to look at inside the restaurant. Doesn’t look clean which is not a good look for a place the serves raw fish. Also parking is limited… Overall, excellent!“
