“9/5 I drove from Harrisburg today SPECIFICALLY to patronize this establishment. My personal preference is to ONLY patronize black-owned establishments and they did not DISAPPOINT! I ordered the chicken & waffles, a side of mac/cheese - sorry no pic of the mac & cheese because I ate is so fast, I forgot to take a picture. The customer service is EXCELLENT.“

“LoRusso’s is not only my favorite restaurant, they also are so amazing at hosting for large groups/events. We had my graduation dinner there and the staff was incredible, the food was amazing, and the private dining room was so nice to have. “I just happened to drive by the restaurant during dinner hour and noticed that the parking lot was filled, as compared to years ago. As a result, my interest was peeked and decided to Google them. Studied the online menu and decided to give them a try. Turns out we have a little Italian gem here in the Lehigh Valley. We have eaten at this warm, cozy restaurant three times in the last month. All three times the food was fresh and fabulous. The two front rooms are used for large group parties that I must keep in mind for in the future. The side rooms are cozy and rustic. Pasta and sauces are made fresh daily. Give a try - you will be impressed.“

“On September 5th, a friend and I attended an event at The Leaf Restaurant in Easton. Years ago, in the pre-COVID era, The Leaf was the finest cigar restaurant in Pennsylvania and on par with any in the Northeast. Its food rivaled the best restaurants in the Lehigh Valley, and its cigar events were nothing short of epic—it was a place of undeniable class and sophistication. While there were a few times over the years when the pressure to lower the quality of the menu or service was disappointing, it never completely lost its appeal.COVID unfortunately drove many restaurants out of business. When The Leaf later brought in an outside barbecue vendor—whose name I won't mention—the establishment hit a new low. There are several excellent barbecue vendors in the Lehigh Valley, but this was certainly not one of them. However, after learning that the internal kitchen had finally reopened, I decided to give it another try.Upon arrival, my friend and I bought some cigars in the shop and expected to see signage for the evening's event. There was none. When I asked the shop staff about the event, they didn't even seem aware of it. We then wandered into the restaurant, which also lacked any signage. Fortunately, we were greeted by our waitress, Nicki C., who proved to be an absolute gem throughout the evening.The Famous brand cigars paired with the Four Roses bourbon were superb. We eventually moved outside to escape the trivia night, which was a bit too distracting for a conversation. For dinner, we both ordered the Sweet Bourbon Chicken sandwich, and it was excellent—the crusting was done to perfection. I also had the Truffle Parmesan fries, which were quite good.It is truly unfortunate that the event was not better promoted, resulting in a low turnout. I tipped heavily because Nicki absolutely deserved it; it is vital for a restaurant to remember that waitstaff can make or break the dining experience. I also asked to speak with Chef Corina Werkheiser to compliment her directly. Her execution and ingenuity with the menu were highly impressive. The Leaf's manager, Emily Stenger, also stopped by our table to gather our feedback, and I was deeply impressed by her frankness, positive attitude, and determination.I sincerely hope that the owner, Arthur, recognizes the two gems he has on his team and gives them his full support. While it will take significant effort for The Leaf to regain the elite status it once held, they can absolutely achieve greatness again if they continue down the quality-driven path that Stenger and Werkheiser have started.“

“There are “Italian” restaurants and then there are ITALIAN restaurants. Elpedio’s is the latter. Not a Pizzaria, fine Italian menu. Friendly, caring staff. No rush, enjoy your dinner. You will not be disappointed.“

“The last couple of years China kings food has gotten worse. I will no longer be there customer. China king cooks in rancid old oil. The last 3 orders I made with China king. I had to throw away some of the food. My last order the meat was bad. I was afraid to eat it and had to throw it away“
