“4 Stars - Convenience and Atmosphere Are Key
The Foggy Goggle is an absolute must visit if you're in the area, less for a culinary pilgrimage and more for the quintessential mountain experience it offers. While the food and service were both perfectly fine (good, but not necessarily outstanding), what truly makes this spot a landmark is its unbeatable atmosphere and prime location.
This isn't just another ski-town eatery; it's a social hub. The place has a palpable buzz, a well-earned popularity that makes it feel like the heart of the action. Whether you're sliding off your skis right outside the door for a quick lunch or settling in for a drink, the convenience is unmatched.
The Foggy Goggle embodies that classic, lively ski-lodge vibe. It's one of those places that's well-known for a reason, it’s where everyone gathers. If you're looking for a lively scene, a convenient spot to recharge, and an atmosphere that perfectly captures the spirit of the mountain, you have to stop by. You go for the location and the vibe, and you stay because it simply feels like the right place to be.“

“My husband and I truly enjoyed our overnight stay at the Foggy Mountain Lodge. It was better than staying at a hotel. The grounds were beautiful, and the location was quiet. Our room was very clean and quiet. We enjoyed eating our breakfast in the Cedar Lodge living room with the beautiful stone fireplace. The rates were very reasonable. I highly recommend this beautiful place.“

“We ate here for the first time yesterday and everything we had was good! The vegetable soup was good and the bowl was a substantial portion. My bacon bleu burger was served on a gourmet roll and was done to perfection and really tasty. The drink I ordered had muddled watermelon with lime juice and moonshine. I would get it again. Pricing was what you would expect to pay. Lastly, the hostess, Sammy Jo was a perfect addition to the place. She gave you an "at home" feel, plenty of guests seemed to know her personally and she loved what she was doing- hard to find these days. Kudos to the staff. We will be back!!“

“A beautiful view with good food. Went to their King Neptune seafood buffet and was quite pleased. The staff was excellent and made the difference in our dining experience. There was a wide variety of seafood on the buffet and desserts aplenty.“

“We came to Seven Springs to take the kid’s snowboarding. We stayed close to Sullivan’s so decided to venture there for dinner. We ordered the smoked meat and it was the best! The owners take pride in their cooking and it shows. They make a lot of things from scratch. We highly recommend checking this place while you’re in the area. We would love to visit in the summer. They have an outdoor bar and deck that overlooks a beautiful creek. The atmosphere is cozy and casual. This is a hidden gem.“

“My husband and I went here to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. The food and service were outstanding! Our waiter was very attentive and he did a great job explaining. We got the 4 course meal. The clam bisque was flavorful and the presentation was impressive. It came in a bowl with just the clam and waffle sticking out of the bowl and then the waiter poured the soup in our bowl out of a hot pot. My husband who is not a fan of salads, ate the spring fin and feather. My filet mignon was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, just as I requested. My favorite part is always dessert and I almost didn't have enough room to finish the chocolate blitz. The ambience in the room we were placed in was perfect for a romantic meal. I had the strawberry lemon margarita and my husband had a Maple Syrup Manhattan. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a delicious dinner experience!“
