Such a disappointment today. I ordered fried tilapia with potato salad and shrimp salad. The fish was heavily salted and didn’t taste fresh at all. The potato salad had a heavy vinegar taste and the pasta salad was a soupy vinegar/Italian dressing based portion of spaghetti with 1 shrimp cut in half. The coconut pound cake is the only thing that kept this from being a total waste of time and money.
The meats are good, well done and tasty, Yet, I find that the vegetables are overly spicy & the desserts are overly sweet. With health problems of high blood pressure and diabetes I can't order the vegetables and desserts
I misssss this place. so sad too see it closed.
My Blue Heaven offers delicious food with large servings, including fish, collard greens, Mac and cheese, and peach cobbler for takeout. The staff is courteous, and the location is convenient. Customers love the savory turkey and the peach cobbler. Despite a slightly cramped space, the service is excellent, with polite young ladies taking orders. Returning customers always ask for something from My Blue Heaven.
