“This is a place I never knew existed to my knowledge. Secret I delivered pizz to an apartment across the street I did not know what it was. The service top notch, the breakfast I hat was excellent and well made and the atmosphere is a Diner but well maintained and attractive. Look it up on Google maps or how ever you do that, but go there once and I know you'll be back. Oh some times a bit of a wait but generally quick seating and they have a parking lot .Parking: L shape parking around the Diner and in the street!Kid-friendliness: Well I saw kids there. Lol“
“Service friendly and fast. Portions are huge for breakfast but unfortunately for pancakes they do not have real maple syrup just the generic one in the bottle. The eggs were a bit overcooked to my liking and potatoes needed more seasoning, prices are fair.“
“was staying at the company cabin for a week and stumbled across this place. first for lunch close to closing time with 2 others and they were accommodating and friendly. food was great home cooked style. So good in fact we made it a point to return for Breakfast before leaving the area a few days later. next time in the area will definitely be back. make sure you check the board for specials“
“What a hidden gem! Going to Rich's is like taking a step back in time and feels so homey and cozy. I took a friend who was visiting from one of the biggest foodie cities in the US, and he still raves about how perfect and fluffy his pancakes were! I definitely recommend them. My breakfast burrito was excellent, too, and service was fantastic.“
“The service here can't be beat. Once they refused to charge us because our meal took too long. (so we just tipped the amt of the meal lol). Once we arrived not knowing they were closing early and they let us come in and insisted on us not rushing. The specials are always interesting and their corned beef hash is one of the best I've had. We can't recommend it enough and we come here every time we are in town .Wheelchair accessibility: Back door“
“On our way to family vacation we were hungry and I found this place just off the highway and it was PERFECT! A little southern hometown feel to this place! Family friendly, staff was friendly and professional, building was clean including the restroom. And the food was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend.“
“The restaurant is friendly and enjoyable to eat at and food is always delicious ? what ever u like to choose to eat. And take out is fresh and perfectly safe to enjoy.Parking: Small parking lot but workable.Kid-friendliness: They have a menu for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: There is low curb for wheelchair to be able to get threw and in.“
“This is a good feel, classic American diner sort of place that I wish I tried earlier, and also now wish was open at hours I could enjoy on my work days.Went here for breakfast, a vegetable omelet with cheese, home fries with gravy on the side, sausage links and white toast. Don't think much other description is needed. Just a top notch breakfast, everything done to near perfection. Home fries were personally not quite where I'd like them, but my desire for crispy home fries isn't an absolute right way to cook them, just a preference is all. They were very soft while not soggy, held their shape, and were certainly tasty. Just like them crispy myself.Incredibly friendly staff, the most classic of American breakfast food done great, fantastic experience here.“
“Had the pot roast meal . Wonderful portion , sides were excellent . Atmosphere was great . Hostess explained the menu for us and server was delightful . Truly homestyle food just like Grandma made . My whole table enjoyed our first visit to the diner . Big kudos !“
“A West Scranton institution for over 100 years! Food is just as good as I remember as child in the 1970s eating there often. Texas Weiners and Fries w/gravy were just how I remembered. Service was excellent and staff were friendly and welcoming. It's been over 30 years since I ate there. I won't let that happen again!“
“Situated on scenic Route 6 this is a classic diner. We sat in the diner area with a great view of the counter. Ordered the daily special with included soup and sandwich. Clam Chowder was tasty with lots of clams. Chicken Cheese Steak sandwich on white toast with chips. If you are looking for a classic Diner experience The Bluebird is definitely worth visiting.“
“Really descent place to go and get a bite to eat . Ask for Pam beautiful as she can be and makes it worth for use to keep going back for more. Highly recommended for anyone including families. Can call and order for pick up worth doing when wanting to stay home or in a rush.“
“My waiter was very polite. The food is exceptional. And I don't eat from fast food places. I bought the food for somebody else. They end up not wanting it. Because circumstances. So I have no choice but to eat it. And no b.s. two days later when I warmed it up and ate it. It was still delicious ???????“
“Took my son their today and enjoyed the 50s era atmosphere. The waitress was great and very professional. The Mac and cheese bites were the best we've ever had also the pretzel bites and hot chocolate were delicious. Definitely look forward to trying more of their food. We give it a thumbs up.“
“First time at this diner yesterday. The service was friendly. The food was great. The caffeine fries are to die for! I had the Glider sandwich. Meat was tender and juicy served on a kaiser roll. Definitely stop and have a meal at the Glider!“
“Had a great lunch at the Silver Spoon diner! We had 3 different kinds of paninis - each person in our group really enjoyed their meal. The fries were perfectly cooked and the chicken orzo soup was delicious. To top it off, the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. I’m just sorry we don’t live nearby because I would definitely stop there again!!“
