“This is a place I never knew existed to my knowledge. Secret I delivered pizz to an apartment across the street I did not know what it was. The service top notch, the breakfast I hat was excellent and well made and the atmosphere is a Diner but well maintained and attractive. Look it up on Google maps or how ever you do that, but go there once and I know you'll be back. Oh some times a bit of a wait but generally quick seating and they have a parking lot .Parking: L shape parking around the Diner and in the street!Kid-friendliness: Well I saw kids there. Lol“
“Service friendly and fast. Portions are huge for breakfast but unfortunately for pancakes they do not have real maple syrup just the generic one in the bottle. The eggs were a bit overcooked to my liking and potatoes needed more seasoning, prices are fair.“
“What's up food crew, today I am at a place I have been trying to get to for a long time. This being Bobby O's. Now they offer a nice variety of food to eat, today it's all about the dogs. In the first segment I am at the diner where I am Hot Doggin' NEPA style where we celebrate the hot dog and not rate the hot dog. This is a berk's dog where I tried the bacon and cheese, this was very tasty, the cheese was a liquid cheese and they used bacon bits compared to just putting bacon strips on the dog. My second dog was the chili dog where the chili had a nice taste, my only critique is they just threw on big ass chunky onions, personally I like a finer chopped onion, The one employee agreed with me. Now in the second segment I brought home their Italian hoagie to eat later on. Now I must make a retraction from the video. Now I ordered their hoagie as like it comes just with sweet peppers and no hot. I also asked for mayo no dressing, now does this sound like a difficult request. Well, it must have because not only did they put the dressing on it, they put the mayo as well. UGH!!!! Now what I wanted to avoid happened, I had a soggy sandwich. Overall besides that mess up this was a packed hoagie, meats, cheese, soft bread, minus the soggy parts that is. They still get a big thumbs up and recommend to all to check them out. “Great breakfast! I enjoyed the western omelet. Local Marazzi meats on the menu. Our waitress was great! They never lost sight of us. My coffee never reached the bottom! Homemade soups and desserts. Clean, cozy rustic atmosphere. It is worth the drive for me.“
“Hello food crew, today's show takes us on the road for some breakfast. I am going back to a place I have not been in for a good couple of years. The Grille has this combo where you get eggs, French toast. pancakes, kielbasa, and crispy bacon. It was really delicious, the only thing I forgot to order was the home fry taters. “What a hidden gem! Going to Rich's is like taking a step back in time and feels so homey and cozy. I took a friend who was visiting from one of the biggest foodie cities in the US, and he still raves about how perfect and fluffy his pancakes were! I definitely recommend them. My breakfast burrito was excellent, too, and service was fantastic.“
“The service here can't be beat. Once they refused to charge us because our meal took too long. (so we just tipped the amt of the meal lol). Once we arrived not knowing they were closing early and they let us come in and insisted on us not rushing. The specials are always interesting and their corned beef hash is one of the best I've had. “We were greeted and seated immediately. Our table had crab cakes, grilled chicken, fried chicken and a seafood platter. The crab cakes were delicious and I believe better than some of our higher end restaurants.On another visit we had the lobster special and liver platter. The lobster is steamed perfectly and delicious. The liver was covered in onions and bacon along with a brown gravy.Great comfort food at any time of day.“

“I normally take pictures but I was too hungry. But I will tell you that this place makes omelettes to order. I opted for the Italian bread toast and it comes buttered. The home fries are good and are cooked with onions. The waitress was perfect and didn't rush our breakfast. I honestly can't wait to go back.“

“A West Scranton institution for over 100 years! Food is just as good as I remember as child in the 1970s eating there often. Texas Weiners and Fries w/gravy were just how I remembered. Service was excellent and staff were friendly and welcoming. It's been over 30 years since I ate there. I won't let that happen again!“
“A friend and I went for a really early breakfast, about 4am. The Diner was hopping, pretty busy for that hour. We sat at the counter, and the waitress came over and immediately took our orders.I had 2 eggs, over medium, fries, bacon well done (crispy, and white toast. My friend has a turkey club sandwich. I was politely and promptly greeted, served in short order, and you can see that the staff all get along and are respectful and friendly to each other and the customers. As I know that food service in such a place is not a high paying job, It only highlights the fact that they have a wonderful work culture. I heard a customer or waitstaff interacting with a level of familiarity indicating friendship. In a world where nothing is like it used to be, this place is as it was in all the best ways. “Our family loves to try diners, but sometimes they can be a hit or miss! Well, Pittston Diner was a bit hit! We were seated immediately, and the wait staff was exceptional! (Not just our waitress- we could see the others, all with smiles and lotsa hustle too!) The Greek Omelet, not only looked great but tasted great too! And the Special with sausage patties and gravy sausage on top was so good they ran out of Croissants, but was so good on a bagel, that I can't wait to go back and try it on a croissant! The sausage wasn't grisly like in some restaurants. And the Caprese potatoes with onions and peppers were cooked perfectly- not overdone at all but nice and soft. This place is definitely worth a stop if you love breakfast!“
