“What do I recommend about Mike’s place?? Everything!! I’ve heard a lot of talk about this place, and one day a good friend of mine and I rode our motorcycles out to here. To say the least I was not disappointed one bit. The food was excellent in taste and very reasonably priced! I will most definitely be returning to dine here, and it usually takes more than one visit for me to decide to become a consistent customer but mikes place nailed it! If you haven’t been here yet, you are definitely missing out on atmosphere quality and reasonable prices!”

“been here twice and had two of the best meals ive ever had. the chicken sandwich cleared any ive had by a mile my only complaint or suggestion would be it needs a brioche bun because the chicken is fantastic, also the Nashville is more bbq than cayenne but I get it people cant handle spice. the tomato bisque no complaints what so ever and the short rib stroganoff 10/10 no notes.”

“Frontier Tavern was a great place for us since we were already staying at the Inn. Food was delicious, our server was friendly.
We all had salmon, chicken, burger and crab cake sandwich.
Go with plain risotto, do try their fries!
Sitting near the windows can get a little cool during this time.
We did walk inn but reservation is recommended.”

Definitely small town, mom&pop feel, which is my preference.
Food was good. Decent menu, and I believe breakfast is served all day.”

“Front doors can be a struggle if your in a wheelchair and by yourself. But plenty of room inside with a bathroom that most chairs and walkers can easily enter. The only reason it didnt get full stars was because it was cool enough that you must eat fast so your food doesn't get cold. Service was great!”

“The food was average for a diner, and we did not get a table with a window, either. However, the restaurant was extremely clean and the waitress was delightful. Right over the hill from Kelly's is a 20ft tall quarter sculpture - be sure to stop by when you are in the area.”

“We love to stop in to get subs at this Subway on Business 220 in Bedford. The ladies do a fantastic job making our subs. The subs are delicious! Everything is fresh. The Steak and Cheese sub and Spicy Italian sub are excellent. Just tried the brand new #7 MexiCali sub. It’s a must try if you like to try new subs on the menu. Everything looks very clean. Quick service. Always patiently waiting on us to decide. Service is always good.”

“Stayed at Bedford Springs for the weekend and had two excellent dinners at 1796. My wife and I both had the filet mignon, and shrimp cocktail appetizer the first night, duck and shrimp pasta the following night. French onion soup, also. Emily and James were wonderful servers. Raspberry cake for dessert was delicious. Really enjoyed our evenings.”

“We’re in the area a few times a years and have always talked about trying it, but never did. We finally stopped in last night and we loved. The pizza was perfect, staff/owner great. We’ll make a point to go back every time we’re in the area.”

“We were treated to a fantastic dinner starting with some amazing fried artichoke, sundried tomatoes wrapped in eggplant, and grilled olives stuffed with capers. We were lucky to be seated next to the producers of Agnoni who make the eggplant, tomatoes and olives. It was a great experience and we can't wait to go again.”
