River's Edge Cafe Bed & Breakfast American • $$
203 Yough St, Confluence

“We rode to Confluence from Ohiopyle and stopped here for lunch. Had the club sandwich, which was a very respectable entree but didn't blow me away. The atmosphere and view, however, were amazing and greatly exceeded my expectations. The service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a wonderful lunch experienced.“

Rorsten Lamb Sandwich

“Delicious food, amazing ice cream. I stop every time I’m anywhere near this place, I’ll drive half an hour out of my way for a gyro, a blueberry milkshake, and a cheesesteak for later. I’ve been stopping here for 10 years on my way to my secret fishing spot. They’re short staffed like everyone else, just don’t whine about it and you’ll discover a gem of a restaurant in the mountains.“

“We have eaten here many times over the years and it's always good, but yesterday the food was exceptional! My wife had the Harvest Salad w/ Salmon and I had the Pub Wrap with grilled chicken. Everything was cooked to perfection and was seasoned just right. We'll keep coming back!“

“Before Curt's was Glisan's. This was/is a truckstop on the National Pike (Rt. 40). There are no "pre-made" baked goods. Their dinner rolls are the size of your head, and their pies (in my opinion) are legendary! The coffee was very nice, and I asked our waitress what they used, her reply was "Maxwell House". I guess the trick is mountain water. Unless you're Anthony Bordain, you'll be more than satisfied with your dinner.“
