“It's a great friendly little local bar. Struck up some good conversations with fellow patrons and the bartenders were fun and engaged. I was there on a quieter night but I still had a great time. I decided to go there with a date after eating at the Brass Buckle. It was recommended by our waitress and it didn't disappoint.“

“We are in town for my hubby's job and was looking for a good place to eat so I googled Restaurants and John's came up with great reviews so off we went to John's on Fri night for supper we were very pleased excellent friendly staff made us feel very welcome had an awesome waitress very attentive and efficient food was brought out fast and hot and so good and reasonably priced very cozy family restaurant we loved it so much we went back Sunday morning for a Mother's Day breakfast and their breakfasts are amazing too definitely our new spot to dine when we are in Hazelton and was blown away when the waitress brought me a very pretty pink Carnation for Mother's Day not sure of too many places that would do that ! 😘“

Disclaimer, I'm a home owner, my opinion may be biased... but in the Spring and Summer months during nice weather conditions especially this is a fantastic eatery for families and something more intimate and romantic. The food is certainly above average but the price that's where the wow factor comes in...it is amazingly cheap given the scenery, atmosphere, service and quality of food. “Come here often. My service is always timely. Never had an issue with waiting. The original owners have a 10 star. The new owners started a little shaky but are picking up the pace nicely. The food is good. Friendly hometown atmosphere. This area is lucky to have such a great variety of restaurants and Toms rounds out our selection nicely. I’m well satisfied.“
