“Allegheny health network I walked up to the Kosbar Ranch and I had a steak and cheese with fried onions and french fries and they were delicious Chrissy prepared my meal it was done in about 10 minutes and I was eating. She is a very toxic and demanding person hell bent on iron rule. She is the epitome of an overbearing, drama loving wannabe diva. Skip Mondays and Sundays and turn around any other day she happens to be filling in.“

“We were the last people in on a Friday night and hungry. Dining room was empty so we sat at the bar. By the time we were done, we were the only patrons. (They close at 9). The owners were working and made us feel very welcome. We had a nice visit, the food was good (fish sandwiches, fries and coleslaw...large portions), and price was nice. We never felt rushed which we appreciated. Good place for a casual meal...full menu etc. I recommend and we will be back.“

“We’ve been going to Elly’s since we moved here a few years back and it’s a true testament to we need more women owned businesses. The food is killer. The staff is fantastic. The atmosphere has something for everyone. Their food is moderately priced for good portions, and they have amazing specials - $5 happy hour menu and $10 rotating entree special. They just added some new food to the menu with turkey handhelds, weekend breakfast, and Lenten specials on Fridays. I’m ready to come back and try it all. Support local - eat Elly’s.“

“I have been going here for over 20 years over the course of 4 ownerships. Right now I am in my 70's and I still feel right at home and safe despite what others may say about the area. When I first started coming here years ago, it was for the fish sandwiches when it was the Trio Bar. The newest owners who bought the bar in 2015 decided to bring back a fish fry on Fridays and it is just as good, if not better than my memories of the Trio's, and probably the best one in all of Pittsburgh! The other food on the menu that my husband and I have tried is also delicious and reasonably priced. They do allow smoking but it is not as smoky in there as it gets in other smoking bars. The other regular customers are wonderful people, some of which have became great friends of mine over the years! Keep up the great work, Monica, Marie, and the rest of the team! Thank you for making my neighborhood bar even better than ever!“

“The adult beverages made me urinate multiple times. I use a stopwatch to count my pee breaks, but I had too many adult beverages and lost count at 9. The bathroom was small, but that was okay because when I urinate I make noises to block the sound of my pee blasting the side of the toilet bowl to avoid embarrassment. The next time I come here, I will order a food item from the menu. Typically, I eat burgers because I like eating burgers. I usually bring my own buns though, I buy them at shop n save because I save a lot of money on burger buns. All in all, great bar and fun people. Except that one guy, he made me take a number 2 break in conjunction with my 9 pee breaks.“

“When we arrived we were told by whom we thought was the hostess to sit anywhere so we chose the high tables in the bar area. We waited for about 10-15 minutes for someone to come over and greet us and take our drink order and give us the menu. We were there early afternoon on a Sunday so the place was not the crowded. The bartender brought us our tea and coke then we waited for probably 15 minutes at least for someone to take our food order. While we were waiting the 'hostess' was more interested in holding a customer's baby then seeing if we needed refills on our drinks, which we ended up having to flag the bartender down. I got the pretzel turkey melt which was very good and my boyfriend got the Sante Fe Chicken Tacos which were also very good. This was my second time at the Robinson location and both times the food was very good. The service the first time was exceptional and it was on a crowded Sunday during a football game.“
