“I love coming here. The blood orange cider is my favorite. But I also haven't had one I didn't like!We did trivia night. The only thing I have a complaint about is the acoustics. Even though the trivia woman had a microphone, I had a really hard time hearing her through the small talk of all the different groups. It felt like all the voices were echoing a lot around the space.“
“We stopped by on our journey through ambridge, coming from creekside beer. To Bridgetown taphouse. Everything we had was an amazing experience, with very kind and welcoming people along the way. This was a happy accident! Let's get to the beer. As a craft beer connoisseur, this quickly moved to one of my Top 5 breweries. I can not wait to come back. I just so wish there was more to-go beer I could bring home with me. The space was large, beautiful, and immaculately clean. We got glassware to rep. And some could brew collusion. But their sours were ?? and the Bamberger Rauchbier was top tier. Please stop through. Amazing experience 10/10“
“The first time I went here I thought the beers weren't great, but the second time was a lot better. Excellent location, in any case; good place to chat with friends. The music is a tad loud, that said, but I guess it makes conversations more private for some who want to talk loud? Who knows.“
“I've been to Altered Genius several times now, most recently with my wife on a Friday evening. The quality of the food and beer has always been excellent, the ambiance is great, and the staff are great. On my most recent visit two things were especially impressive. There were a few families with young children, and a young guitarist and singer named Elias Khouri was performing. The music was great, not too loud, not too soft, just right. This, coupled with the presence of the families and the hospitality of the staff gave the place a nice, warm, homey ambiance. A great place for beer, food, and entertainment. Five stars.“
“This brewery in the Rocks marked the 102nd brewery that I've visited. Marking that I've officially visited every microbrewery in the Pittsburgh region and let me tell you there is a lot. More are on the way, and I'll need to visit the new ones.Sadly I didn't know until this year that this place existed. How did I not know. One thing is that I love Hazy IPA's or Pale Ale's, they are my go to drink. What I do not like is a sour. However I tried a couple of their sours and damn are they the best that I've ever tasted. This place is unique it's in part of an old theater. They still have comedy nights here on the weekends it appears. The place looks a little scary, but it's perfectly fine area from what I've gathered.I can't wait to come back here again. Great place.“
“Soulful Femmes were an amazing duo to compliment the wine and spirits. Not only are there a dozen or so beers on tap, they also offer spirits and wine. A great, laid back evening out! Brewery is dog friendly and infant and child friendly, which is oh so very awesome!“
“Great pop-up experience. The service staff was very friendly and funny to chat with, and the cheesesteak-burger-thing that my partner and I split was really enjoyable. I got the new Zealand hazy to drink and was very satisfied with the pairing, and the view of the river, while not spectacular, was definitely pleasing and we enjoyed our post-dinner walk which I will lump in with the overall experience.“
“Easily one of the top breweries in the area. Not only are their beers unique and tasty, but they generally have something that will please everyone. Some of the best beers I've had have come from Hitchhiker and while their cans are good in a pinch, their on tap beers are well worth the trip.My only knock is they need to expand somewhere else with more seating and do a food menu of their own rather than relying on food trucks which can be hit or miss (can't remove a star for that since it's clear this is only a taproom) .The staff is great and attentive and let you try something so you don't get a glass of something you will hate.Getting seating here sometimes can be problematic in the winter months; but their stuff is top shelf and worth it.One of my top 5 breweries in the Greater Pittsburgh Area.“
“Service was good. Had to order at the bar but the bar tender was attentive and informative. Ambiance was great with just a few scattered benches indoors and plenty of sitting outside near the gas fire pit. Good place to spend a cool evening listening to good tunes and sipping on local pours. Also liked that they had a "hard tea" option for those who prefer something other than beer.“
“Support your local brewer and get down to Insurrection Brewing in Heidelberg - right next to the police station ?. It's not a particularly large venue, nor a warm and cozy place, but they're definitely churning out some decent brews here. The barrel aged stout and west coast IPA were really very good. They've got a 3.91 (of 5) average rating on Untappd, and that's pretty good ?“
“AMAZING!!! My mom stumbled upon this brewery and I’m so happy she did!! Even if you’re not a beer drinker, STOP and check it out. You will not regret it. The views, nature and friendly staff make the visit so worthwhile! I can’t wait to comeback and sit outside and admire the beautiful sights and sounds. A must-try if you’re in the Grove City area ❤️ ?❤️ ?“
