“We had planned a pizza party after our lacrosse practice, but a thunderstorm threw a wrench in our outdoor plans. We called the shop to see if we could bring 25 athletes and coaches into the store instead, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. When we arrived, the staff had reserved tables prepared and the pizzas were already set out for us. The staff was courteous, friendly, and made us feel right at home. We truly appreciate their support for local youth sports teams. It's businesses like this that make our community so special. Thank you for helping to make our event a success!“

“I have been ordering egg plant parm with side of spaghetti since Olive Gard opened in York. Best I have ever had until this evening. The egg plant was mushy and drown in sauce, so disappointed. I was with my family we were there celebrating my 83rd b-day. If I had been there with a small group I would have sent the egg plant back to the kitchen. Please see what is going on with my favorite. Service was out standing.“

“This restaurant has the best pizza, the sauce is great and they use real/ authentic mozzarella cheese, the crust has a wonderful taste, we have had the margarita woodfire and regular pizza, also the cheesesteak stromboli is amazing, very good quality meat. Their specialty cocktails are soo delicious and perfect!! The owners are soo nice an accommodating, great service. We have been looking for authentic Italian food for a long time and we finally found it, would give more stars if I could.“

“I am a local truck driver. As I finished my last delivery almost 2 hours from home. I google “subs near me”. This place popped up. Wasn’t too far out of my way. And I didn’t have a trailer so I went off to find this place. (Small shops are the best in my opinion), the Italian sub on a fresh baked roll was amazing. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area. “Came into this place on a whim today, and SO glad I did! The thin crust pizza was amazing - brought home half and it crisped right back up when I reheated it. Also had a cheese steak Stromboli which was delish. The Italian sub I had needed more meat and cheese inside of it, but good flavors. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. “Love everything about Mexitaly. Servers and bartenders are super friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent. My favorites are the fish tacos, large burritos and the Stromboli. I love that they have vegan cheese for us dairy intolerant people. The in-house brewed craft beers are great and so are the local crafted cocktails. They also have live music sometimes on the weekends and a chill vibe.“

“Visiting York from out of town. I had an inch to eat some Stromboli like one does in Pennsylvania. We were lucky enough Shakey Jakes was open until 11. My team and I visited and most of us ordered a Boli. We were told a small would feed one person. So I ordered a large. Holy Stromboli, this thing was huge. I only got through half but I brought it home so I can enjoy it for the next two days. It was so good I felt like it was sent from heaven above. This was EASILY the best food I have ever eaten in Pennsylvania. I can't recommend Shakey Jakes enough. Can't wait to go there again in 3 days when I finally finish my large Boli.“
