“We had planned a pizza party after our lacrosse practice, but a thunderstorm threw a wrench in our outdoor plans. We called the shop to see if we could bring 25 athletes and coaches into the store instead, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. When we arrived, the staff had reserved tables prepared and the pizzas were already set out for us. The staff was courteous, friendly, and made us feel right at home. We truly appreciate their support for local youth sports teams. It's businesses like this that make our community so special. Thank you for helping to make our event a success!“

“I have been ordering egg plant parm with side of spaghetti since Olive Gard opened in York. Best I have ever had until this evening. The egg plant was mushy and drown in sauce, so disappointed. I was with my family we were there celebrating my 83rd b-day. If I had been there with a small group I would have sent the egg plant back to the kitchen. Please see what is going on with my favorite. Service was out standing.“

“This restaurant has the best pizza, the sauce is great and they use real/ authentic mozzarella cheese, the crust has a wonderful taste, we have had the margarita woodfire and regular pizza, also the cheesesteak stromboli is amazing, very good quality meat. Their specialty cocktails are soo delicious and perfect!! The owners are soo nice an accommodating, great service. We have been looking for authentic Italian food for a long time and we finally found it, would give more stars if I could.“

“I am a local truck driver. As I finished my last delivery almost 2 hours from home. I google “subs near me”. This place popped up. Wasn’t too far out of my way. And I didn’t have a trailer so I went off to find this place. (Small shops are the best in my opinion), the Italian sub on a fresh baked roll was amazing. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area. “Came into this place on a whim today, and SO glad I did! The thin crust pizza was amazing - brought home half and it crisped right back up when I reheated it. Also had a cheese steak Stromboli which was delish. The Italian sub I had needed more meat and cheese inside of it, but good flavors. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. “So hubby and I ate here today…. As soon as you walk in the smell is incredible and the employees behind the wall greet you very nicely. We were seated immediately and our server Garrett oh my gosh, I don’t even know where to begin. He was fantastic and every meaning of the word he was polite he was funny. He was happy. He was knowledgeable. He was the sweetest person I have ever met in my life and I’ve met a lot of people. More people who own restaurants should have servers like Garrett the compassion inside this person is off the chart he was the sweetest person you’ve ever wanna meet in your life. He knew that menu like nobody’s business. Which in a lot of restaurants, you’re lucky if one of the servers knows what’s on the menu let alone know what it’s about not Garrett. He knew everything and if he didn’t have the answer, he found the answer with Greg the owner who I must say was just as nice and polite and knowledgeable as Garrett. If you wanna try somewhere new and you’ve never been here, you have to try this place. I am telling everybody about this restaurant. The food was phenomenal . We have not one complaint from the front door to the server to our food and out the door again. My husband and I had such a fantastic time here we want Garrett as our server from this point on nobody else I know that probably sounds critical but when you get a good server, that’s who you want every time you go back Garrett was efficient. He was fast. He could walk by your table and grab the dishes without even looking at you. He was that fast. He always checked on us even if it was just for a napkin he’s that good Thank you again Garrett and Greg, the owner for making our day wonderful Thank you for an awesome time Bill and Debbie from Florida“

“Visiting York from out of town. I had an inch to eat some Stromboli like one does in Pennsylvania. We were lucky enough Shakey Jakes was open until 11. My team and I visited and most of us ordered a Boli. We were told a small would feed one person. So I ordered a large. Holy Stromboli, this thing was huge. I only got through half but I brought it home so I can enjoy it for the next two days. It was so good I felt like it was sent from heaven above. This was EASILY the best food I have ever eaten in Pennsylvania. I can't recommend Shakey Jakes enough. Can't wait to go there again in 3 days when I finally finish my large Boli.“

“Yesterday was our last time ordering from Sal's. We have had issues for the past year. I'm very disappointed because Sal's used to be my favorite restaurant for over a decade. However, I will not be suggesting your restaurant anymore. Our pizza was dry and burnt in the crust, the salad was bad, the chicken on it was also dry and had no flavor .. no dressing was packed in the bag, Additionally, the buffalo chicken wrap had watered down sauce buffalo sauce and maybe blue cheese dressing??? Not a crumble. The whole wrap was a soggy mess. It was a weekday order...early evening, not a busy time.“
