We were greeted by the co-owner who could not have been kinder and even threw in two hoagies for us to try since it was our first time there. “Went in for a slide and got the meat lovers thick crust. Large piece for $3.98 with tax. While waiting I was shocked to see the very large menu of subs, cold and hot, salads and Strombolis. Casual setting if you dine in with great 80s music and sever was great. I was feeling like I walked into a joint in NYC the minute I opened the door and when I saw the sever wearing a NY cap, I figured I was right on with a smile on my face.“

“I've been trying different pizza places around harrisburg. A friend suggested Santos later in the neighborhood so I thought we'd stop by. Imagine my surprise when they had pizza like you get in New Jersey or NYC. I asked who worked there was Italian or from Jersey. Much to my surprise, it's a family of Mexicans from I believe Oaxaca. And their pizza is Far and Away the Best pizza I've had in this town. I particularly like the spinach and mushroom and their Margarita pizza. There's stuffed pizza, pepperoni mushroom, you name it,it's all great. Plus the subs and other items, but I always go for a slice or two. And two are usually one too many.
And as a bonus,I get to practice my bad Espanish on them and they don't laugh at me too much. LOL!“

“So, last night a group of 12 of us supposedly had reservations at the 1700 steak place in the Hilton. Upon arriving they did not have our reservations. Called Bacco to see if they could accommodate our large party. They said they could. I have to say… they were fantastic! We were seated downstairs and our waitress was FANTASTIC! There were some call offs and only two servers and she handled our group like a champ. She was personable,sweet, nice and very engaging and accommodating with anything we asked! I wish I could remember her name but, unfortunately I can’t! We totally enjoyed ourselves and the food was awesome!“
