“My review is based solely on the efforts of THE SINGLE EMPLOYEE this company has decided is safe and fair to staff an entire establishment. I never leaves reviews for anything, but it is beyond disgusting to treat employees of a company of Subways magnitude like this. The lone manager is a young woman who has to do literally everything by herself, online orders, in house orders, prep etc. All while also having a register and back of house keeping. It is unsafe to staff a business with 1 person. You should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves.”

“Saw a bunch of posts in the take out and dining group about Hills To Sea in Ephrata so we gave it a try! My husband got a caterpillar roll (eel, avocado, and cucumber) and a noodle dish (can't remember the name). Unfortunately i have yet to find a place that has gluten free eel sauce so I got the salmon crazy roll (minus crispy onions) and the Singapore noodles. Everything was fresh and delicious!! We will definitely be back, especially for those noodles.”

“Great American restaurant with down very good food. Normal slightly upscale style place with a bar, booth and table seats. Family style. The twisted burger was cooked to perfection and was quite large. The sauce is very hot, so a little dab will go a long way. Thin cut fries as well. Service was good and friendly.”

Excellent customer service, they were busy and right in the beginning they told us it might be a bit slower of service which was great communication and it really wasn’t slow in my mind. The owner was friendly and greeted everyone like family. Actually everyone felt like family in there- the atmosphere was amazing. Families, couples, older people, kids, everyone was there and it was nice! We had delicious food- chicken parm, a chicken lasagna with vodka sauce that was delicious and a delicious bowl of butternut squash soup! Bread was good too! We came here because we had a coupon but now we will be back more often! Thanks for providing excellent service and great food 👏🫶🏻”

“We have been doing takeout from Caruso's. We get their steak salads, cheeseburger subs, and garlic bread. Their food has always been decent portions and absolutely delicious. When you walk in the door, the staff is welcoming and very friendly. Only down side is the parking - the lot is not very big. It is sometimes difficult to find a place to park.

Parking: Their parking lot is behind the building and on the small side, considering the number of people that go there.”

I always got the same welcoming smile, and authentically good energy from the staff and owners alike. Owned by two genuinely kind humans, Rachel and Scott Elliott, this shop has quietly become a place of refuge and community for folks around East Cocalico—and I’ll always be grateful for what it gave me when I needed it most.
