“Food is always fresh and delicious. Bagels are well priced, light and delicious.

Usually takes a while for food to be made, but it's always well worth it.

Somewhat newly updated interior building. It always feels clean and cozy. Many seating options and I love sitting near the fireplace during the cool season.“

“We had one evening in Scranton, and I was the one grabbing sweets for our groups dietary restrictions. I called Donna and asked if she would be able to accommodate. She went above and beyond! The GF-Vegan Cupcakes I ordered were waiting in a box for me, and she was so patient since we came right at closing time. Her flavors were DIVINE! The love and care that went in to our treats was something special! I love pretty food, but what a win when the food tastes better than it looks! Thank you Donna! “Our long time friends and coworkers met there for the first time and it was FABULOUS! Carol was a doll and so interesting to talk with. Her homemade soup, finger sandwiches and desserts (try her homemade scones and homemade whipped crème) were delicious. We certainly didn’t go away hungry. Her vintage style was heartwarming. She kept filling our cups with hot water in the many teapots that she has collected, along with the many types of tea. Oh I forgot to mention she even stenciled the dining room floor!! We will certainly be back.“

Hubby's- chicken cutlets w vodka penne pasta and a salad) and it was so freaking delicious. “Aww I love this place! I go in and get myself a slushy drink from the freezy machine. It usually cost about $3. The man forming at the cashier counter is very friendly. All the patrons are always minding their own business. This place is super big on the inside. You wouldn’t think it’s as big on the inside as it looks on the outside. It’s really cool.“

We usually get cheeseburger sliders with the special sauce, penne with the best vodka sauce and wing bites!!! I have also been to Ethan’s several times for lunch. The BlackWatch cafe is adorable, cozy, so unique. The selection is so innovative so it has a lot more to offer than just coffee. They definitely have a foam art and they do not disappoint here. They have smoothie that people rave about as well! But can we talk about the building itself? The roaring fireplace at the entry is perfect for a winter’s day or Autumn night! It's loaded with history and decorated with classic literary and fan pieces, interesting conversation pieces, and fun works of art.
