“My wife and I went out and had dinner there with our Daughter and her boyfriend. Two of the four orders were completely wrong. They said it would be a long wait to bring out the correct orders so we kept the two wrong orders. My wife and our Daughters boyfriend were not crazy over the burgers they ate due to being not what was ordered and did not like the sauce on the burgers they were given. They ate about half. They took one of the bill. The place is nice, the food I thought was good. Would go back again and hope to get a the correct food order this time. There is a wait to get your food but that means they are making it fresh. Nice addition to the town.”

“We have lived up here for 5 years and have tried pretty much every Chinese restaurant in the area. They start out decent enough but they always wind up disappointing. We have never tried this place because I always forget they are down in Dingmans Ferry but last night my husband Googled Chinese food near us and this place came up so we decided to try it. We did read the reviews so we were not hopeful. How wrong are these reviews! If you are judging this place is food by their appearance you are doing a disservice to yourself and to anyone else that reads the reviews. I went in thinking the worst to pick up my food and looked around to find this place is very clean. Yes it's old and dated but we find that some of the best old and dated places have the best food and this place did not disappoint in that area. We are from Brooklyn New York so we have had some of the worst and the best Chinese food we've ever tasted. And if you are at all familiar with Williamsburg Brooklyn there was a place called Kam-Wah that had the absolute best food in our area. My husband and I would both put this food from China Delight up against kam-wah any day if they were still open. Is it as good as Wo-Hop Manhattan probably not, but their food was absolutely perfect. We ordered a lot of food for the house including the pepper steak, the roast pork fried rice, the vegetable fried rice, the beef fried rice, boneless spare ribs, chicken noodle soup, chicken rice soup, they gave us a dozen of their donuts for free as a thank you and my husband's in order a few things that I cannot even name and he is a cynic when it comes to Chinese food. He is not a fan of Chinese food at all he is a pizza person but he was not feeling good last night and he wanted the soup and he cannot believe how amazing their food was. So please before you write any review on this place I hope you read this and overlook their appearance or anything else judge them solely on their food because it was absolutely delicious. As far as I am concerned it was absolutely nothing wrong with their restaurant. Everything was clean from the floors to the counter and even all the stainless steel from the kitchen that you could see it was all very clean. I spoke with the girl behind the counter while she was begging up out food and she told me they've been there for 17 years and possibly even longer but that is how old she is and she knows they have been there her whole life she was so nice and polite and friendly and so were the other people I wave to behind the counter. All I have to say is I know we have found a new home in China Delight. We will be ordering from them anytime we want Chinese and now that I've tasted their food I could say I hope we order Chinese more often. To me this is the Hidden Gem of Dingmans Ferry and Milford!!!”

“I was hiking a section of the Appalachian Trail, and some other hikers told me of this place. I was so hungry and when I got there the food smells were so good, I had to stop. I had my dog with me but the owner had no problems with me tying the dog out back where there are picnic tables while I ordered. The owner loves dogs and is very friendly to both the dog and I. The food was delicious and the portions so large that I was full before I even finished my lunch. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants good service, good food and a caring restaurant owner. Thanks Mo and crew!”

“My husband and I stumbled across this gem of a restaurant while walking through Milford PA last night. We are so thankful that we stopped in as the food and the waitress (didn't get her name) were wonderful. She recommended the eggplant tower and the blue crab ravioli and both dishes were 5 star! The atmosphere is funky but relaxed and just what we were looking for. We're going to swing by next week for dinner on our way back from SC as we can't to sample another culinary treat. Kudos to this cute little place. You sure know what you're doing!”

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food --the calamari was excellent,absolutely fresh and very lightly fried. The pierogies were amazing; we also had a salad and the apple strudel -- both highly recommended. The ales were cool and just what we needed after a hot afternoon of hiking. The place has outdoor seating that overlooks the lake, and the indoor area is spacious and has a glass front. The service was friendly but it is the food that stood out the most. We will be back to try the schnitzels.”
