“I enjoy Venchi’s gelato in Italy and surprised and excited to find it in the States. For those who appreciate quality chocolates and gelato, check out this store in KOP Mall. Their gelato is made on-site. They are pricy, but worth every penny. I enjoyed the Tiramisu with Brutto & Buono.Jenn and her staff are very friendly and happy to offer gelato samples at their only location in PA. If you are visiting the Mall, make sure to stop in for the perfect dessert and to enjoy the aesthetics Venchi’s offers. The adornment of a full window of ice cream cones and a wall of chocolate bars are very attractive. It makes you feel like you have been transported to Italy.They also offer crepes and beverages (including Affogato).“

“While the prices are high and the lines are long, it is worth it. The flavors were rich, the texture was dence and the portions were large. Particularly the sour cherry was my favorite by far. The contrast of sour and sweet worked really well. The waffles cone added a great texture and they can even make it vegan too.

The staff was super friendly and had tones of energy which is more than I could say for myself if I was taking care of so many people all fay long. The line when we went wasn't too bad since it was late on a weekday.“

“This place is so great. It was criminal of me not to ask her name, but the lady working the register was extremely pleasant. Upon ordering a brownie sundae, I let her know that I didn’t want the cherry that comes on top. She gave me my sundae, and told me that instead of the cherry I didn’t want, they put an extra little piece of brownie on top for me 🥹 it was such a sweet gesture, it really made my day. The swirl soft serve with rainbow jimmies was so worth it. Not only was it truly yummy but the ice cream never melted like they do at the other shops. Not sure of the machine they decided to invest in but my cone maintained its shape to the very end.

“1-900 is right in Rittenhouse Square and they had a long line that ended up moving pretty quickly. The staff were lovely, giving me recommendations and fast service. The soft serve is silky smooth and the flavors are strong but not artificial or overwhelming. I could see the vanilla beans throughout the ice cream which translated to the flavor as well and the chocolate was so balanced that I could eat plenty of it. The dip is perfectly thin and crisp, with a good flavor overall! The waffle cone was fine. Would recommend giving it a try, they have tons of interesting flavors that I didn’t get a chance to check out!“

“Came for espresso and sat at the espresso bar. All the gentlemen at the bar were pleasant to chat with. The espresso tasted great. It’s roasted in house and the quality of the espresso machine makes the 5 star quality beverage. True Italian experience.“

I have tried water ice, hand dipped ice cream, soft serve ice cream, pretzels, hot sausage.

The ice cream and water ice are served cold, its not melting all over the place when you get it, the pretzels were warm and soft , the hot sausages were very good!

Sometimes there is a line at the windows, it moves quickly!

You get a good sized portion for the price
They have sizes from small all the way up to quart

“Yesterday was my first visit there. First, there was a sign indicating an invitation to use their back patio. I didn't know which way to access the patio so naturally I walked around to the other (wrong) side of the building searching for the back patio. I was met by two locked doors. I then walked down the path then around the front of the store and then I went in the other direction.... kept going... looking for the patio and found it in the back of the building where I placed my order. I was disappointed that there was no sugar-free ice cream but they had a vast array of cones. Then, I had to walk to another window to pick up my ice cream cone. The ice cream was really, really good though the prices were steep yet they asked for a tip in addition to the steep prices. Even with that, however, I will return. I was impressed that they were open in the middle of a rainy, cloudy Sunday afternoon. Their serving the ice cream cone in a little container was a cute addition.“

“Omg! I ordered a smoked turkey hoagie with cooper sharp cheese, and it was amazing! The store was clean, well stocked with chips and other goodies. The staff today was small, but my sandwich was made with very little wait! The young lady who took my order was friendly and polite. The owner, if I'm not mistaken, made my order, and the love and care she put into my lunch was too tier.

“Almost all of the flavors offered are wonderful. I love the rotating seasonal flavors and the fact that samples are offered so you can try things out. It is a bit pricey, but the ice cream is very high quality and many of the flavors are unique, so it is worth it. My favorite flavors are darkest chocolate and rainbow buttermilk frozen yogurt, both of which pair very well together!“

They have unique flavors of water ice such as sweetish fish, peach, dragonfruit, pear, blue raspberry, tangerine, cotton candy, and more. The really unique ones such as dragonfruit and pear come and go, they don’t stay permanently like the cherry and blue raspberry kinds so keep that in mind if you ever go and don’t see it on their menu“

“My family and I typically visit the Folsom location—however we drove by and they were extremely packed (like, line all the way to the road packed!), so we decided to drive to this location instead, since it’s only a short distance. I’m so glad we did! Only one customer was there! And i’m not sure why, as the customer service was great, they have plenty of seating, a nice size/accessible parking lot, AND they have a drive-thru!“
