“My nephew loves I mean loves this place he gets the spare ribs extra sauce, with pork fried rice, and cheese fries with spare rib sauce on them. I get the shrimp and broccoli it is to die for. It taste the way Chinese is supposed to or how it did in the 90s. We live in Allentown. We drive all the way to Harrisburg for it. We ordered 5 orders, for the whole house and it only came to $53. I spend more than that ordering two pizzas and a soda. Hands down Emeralds can take my money“

“Great service! Delicious food! And a great atmosphere! The workers are very nice and the food is delicious! I usually get their Lo Mein, they make it the best here. Definitely go there if you want to enjoy Chinese food in a very nice and delightful place.“

“I've watched these kids grow up and take over the business. One very beautiful Chinese woman working here many years disappear. Me find her at 3rd and Emerald Street. Chinese takeout. Now I eat from both places. For long time. Me her secret lover. I don't know if she knows. How much I love her.🌹🤗🌹“

“02/24/25 around 4:15pm
This was an excellent find! Right next to Giant where I do my grocery shopping. Been craving Chinese and Been meaning to go here for some time and finally decided to stop in for dinner and see how their food was. I got the sesame chicken combo with the fried rice and it was immaculate! Also got an egg roll to go with it!
Will be back again!“

“We got takeout. Pork LoMein, pork fried rice, chicken on a stick, fried dumplings, and cheese wontons. All were really good except the cheese wontons. There is too much wrapper and not enough filling. Also, I'm not a fan of them when they use sugar in the mix. Would prefer good crab rangoon.“

“The only one open for Christmas in Halifax. I’ve not been a fan of Chinese food lately because I fell they use a ton of oil to where you can see the separation in the sauces used but this place is by far the best light crisp vegetables clean . They Definitely will be getting a return visit .“

“Absolutely love this place. No unnecessary fuss or flash, just consistently good food, thoughtful packaging, and great prices. They don’t ask for tips on takeout like many other places, which is a huge plus and makes it easy to come back often. Long live good taste.“

“I ordered from the menu, so my main dish was cooked fresh, however, the rice noodles were taken from the pre-cooked bins at the counter. I got General Tso's tofu. The tofu tasted fresh, though marginally over cooked. The sauce was good, though a bit too sweet. The rice noodles were excellent and tasted just like singapore mei fun, with a bit of curry flavor and a few veggies in the mix. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality for being a food court "Chinese" restaurant.“

“I have given this store a lot of business since the day they opened up for business. Food is good but the lady at the the register with the long pony tail is one of the rudest people I have ever met, she's down right nasty and mean. Not sure if I'll be back because of her. Shame“

“Updated for MENU - their website doesn't work. Can't speak for others. We've gotten good experiences here for some time now.Notably, this is one of the Chinese places that knows how to change their oil out once in a while so everything doesn't taste like everything else.I would recommend take out. The dining room is cold in the winter. That said, plan ahead. There have been times where 20 minutes has turned into 40. It's a family owned business and there are times they are shorthanded.
Parking: Have never seen the parking lot so full you couldn't find a space.“
