“If you are looking for a quiet, unassuming place for good food and good food wine, Buddy Boy is perfect for you! Located in the country, it's like walking into a comfy modern cabin with an amazing deck, as well as a separate uncovered outdoor seating area with fire pits. This is family owned and run with a few extra staff, and everyone is very friendly.
They have a wood fired oven and do numerous dishes in it (I was never a big wing fan until trying their smoked wings)! You can have a taste of the South here as well. The gator bites, and frog legs are wonderful!
They have a wonderful variety of wines. I have friends and family who prefer sweeter wines, while others of us prefer the dry wines and we can all find some we love to drink here!“

“Chef Qui Musarra is one of the finest chefs in central PA. There isn't a dish I wouldn't recommend, but if I had to give recognition to one dish I would tell you that "Il Toscano" (the Tuscan Rib-eye) should be on your must have list. When available, the Chuleta and Percebes are also on that list. Mangia!“

“Made a reservation for Sunday brunch. When I showed up, they didn’t even care and said we could sit wherever and pointed in the direction of two 4-tops. We were about to sit at one of those when she said that she meant one of the smaller tables (for 2) just in case larger parties came in. So we moved to one of those. Turns out, those tables were never filled until right before we walked out the door, so that was off putting.
The food was very good although the portion size for the chocolate ganache crepe seemed very disproportionate to the price.
The bathroom is down the stairs into the basement. A bit dungeony.“

“I moved to Pennsylvania from Louisiana 7 years ago and can’t believe it took me this long to find this restaurant. Everything was phenomenal. I ordered the Cajun Penna Pasta and my fiancé ordered the Southern Catfish. If you’re looking for AUTHENTIC southern comfort food, this is the place to go. The kitchen staff knows their stuff, and it shows through the quality of the food. I love that I can now get a little taste of Louisiana without having to hop on an airplane. Definitely my new favorite restaurant:) The atmosphere was amazing from the service to the music and decor. We will be back!“

“First time visiting there. Staff is super friendly. Food (we got lunch) is delicious!“
“Best LGBT bar in Harrisburg, actually best in the region! Very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Not too fancy, very clean and certainly not dingy. The staff and regular patrons are easy to get along with and you feel comfortable whether it’s your first time there or the 100th you stop by. It’s a place where everyone fits in regardless of age, body type, color, no matter if you’re gay, lesbian, trans, straight etc. Even on the busiest days and nights you won’t have any trouble getting served quickly. Nick, Alyssa and Kimmy are top-notch bartenders! No matter how busy they are the drinks are served up quickly! I’ve never waited for a drink even during the busiest times. They have all types of events scheduled for the weekends and they have a monthly cocktail menu with a plethora of delicious drinks to choose from. One visit and you will see why it’s the one bar that’s consistently busy and why the other ones are failing.“

“Rubicon was recommended to us by a local chef so we were excited to try it! It was a Tuesday night so we were able to just walk in. There are two levels for dining and we were guided up a flight of stairs. If I were to make reservations I would request the lower level since stairs can be an issue for us. The location is very elegant inside. Everyone was dressed as if for a special occasion or they were white collar business people. I felt a little underdressed in jeans and t shirt but I guarantee it happens all day long so no biggie. Our server was great and the service of the whole place looked like it ran like clockwork. As an appetizer we got fried baby artichokes ($16). I was definitely sad that there were only two on the plate. For dinner we both ordered the veal risotto. The flavor was wonderful. I think I was expecting it to be more of a veal dish served with risotto ($44) and it was more a risotto with some veal on top. Dessert was wonderful! The Panna Cotta with blackberry topping was perfection. Honestly. The apple pie was also good. Nothing was left. I should have licked that Panna Cotta plate though. The wine list is extensive and the cocktails looked amazing. Great spot to take a date. I believe the most expensive meal was the Ribeye at $70. When the specials were read, prices were not given so I'm basing that on the menu only.“

“Momma Pats have the best cheesesteaks in the area. I recently saw a photo of their Italian so I got it tonight. I don't know if I ever had a better Italian. they take pride in the works of art they create. They look as good as they taste.“
