“Best BBQ in Central PA. The owner and chef is very personable and always makes us feel welcomed. He remembers his customers and interacts with them. The food is always guaranteed to be good. The specials add a nice variety for when you want something different. The “IDK what I want” have never disappointed me! Especially when you’re in a mood or feeling a little indecisive, he always deliver! The portions are good and the prices are reasonable! You can tell and taste that the food is made with love and care. There’s little games to entertain the little (and not so little) ones. Overall really good and highly recommend!“

“I visited here on a Tuesday at 6pm for a work-related and social gathering. The service and food were quite good, yet even on a weekday and being upstairs, the decibel level was rather high dye to it also being a bar. The menu selection was more than adequate and prices reasonable. Street parking can be a challenge, however I found a safe spot about one block away, and parking was free after 5pm on weekdays. The restroom was clean, and I find this important in that if management doesn't prioritize bathrooms, they may not value kitchen cleanliness either, but maybe that's just me. I give it a 4 star and not a 5 due to noise“

“This is a must try for when in Harrisburg. I’ve tried bobba teas. But this is by far, the best that I’ve tasted that I keep coming back. The owner is very accommodating. I’ve asked her what her secret to her amazing bobba teas. Her reply was simple. No power, no shortcuts. Ingredients carefully selected and cooked. Till our next tea time.“

“Went here with girlfriends as part of the Cumberland Coffee & Chocolate Trail. It was AMAZING!! Everything is made from scratch, so flavorful and delicious! Check out their menu! And their desserts are so much more than your Chocolate cake. So many different and delicious flavors! Hazelnut, lemon, Lavender, strawberry, blackberry...you name it. Only wish it was closer but it's worth the drive for me!! I'll be back!“

“I love this coffee shop. The iced Oregon chai is one of my favorites. They also have a bunch of local art work and ceramics you can purchase there. Great place to get unique gifts or try something from a local small business, like the handmade soap they sell.“
“It has been some time since we stopped by Reeser's--I think we were coming back from a tubing trip--so we were all hot and in good spirits from the days adventures. We saw a sign for ice cream--smashed the brakes and whipped the Honda Pilot into the parking lot. We were thrilled by what we found--the sundaes(?) were creative and I recall lots of fresh fruit. We love walk up ice cream spots like this... will return if we are in the area.“

“I cannot say enough good things about 3B. The ice cream is fantastic. I love the huge selection they have of flavors, and toppings. The staff is always friendly, and gets orders completed quickly. Now onto what I have in my photo (an Italian hoagie with everything)....the subs are to die for. Hands down one of the best Italian subs I've ever had. Everything is fresh, and it hits the spot everytime. Also, this monster was only $11.32! I believe the price went up 50 cents or so from last year, but this is still the steal of the century. Go here for the ice cream, but don't forget about the sandwiches!!“

“This place. Is so good. Tried two very different beers which were both awesome. And the food. The best pulled pork, no bun or additional sauce even needed. So very tasty. I don’t eat fries much, I’m not a potato person, but I even enjoyed the fries! So glad we stumbled upon this place!“

“I give five stars. They make delicious ice cream and sandwiches. You will not be disappointed. Great fast service. Budget friendly, many fan favorites to choose from with the ice cream flavors over 20 flavors to choose from. I highly recommend!“
“Probably bought 4-5 bushels in last 3 years. Just purchased bushel of large crabs yesterdayEvery single crab was heavy and a legitimate large crab. I’m from Baltimore originally and would stack Grappling Crab with any crab location in Maryland. As expensive as crabs are these days you want to get your money’s worth. We certainly did. Highly recommend“

“I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. This is a small, cozy and local restaurant. It feels like sitting in someone living room. Make reservations! The food was excellent and the service was amazing. Emailed Ruth for reservations and she was ver responsive even though I missed my original reservation. It was pricey but definitely worth it. Great for a date night. No complaints about my experience! I will come again! Something different that made this place stand out, when they bring you the check it's in a little notebook and you can weite a nice message about your experience. Nice touch. I guess that's why they call it "Note".“

“Friendly staff, good food when traveling through the area. We had a couple apps, flight of beer sampler, and multiple meal. All the food was good. Lemon blueberry shanty was terrific. Minimal GF options, but did put my burger on a bed of lettuce. Staff was super friendly and helpful.“

“Stopped here for a late breakfast on a Wednesday. I would estimate the diner was at about 50%. There was no wait to be seated and the server immediately stopped by to ask what I'd like to drink. The coffee was fresh, the creamers were cold, and they even had Splenda. I ordered the corned beef hash with 2 eggs. This came with some toast and potatoes on the side. The food came out quickly and was cooked right. The server frequently came by to ask if I wanted a refill on my coffee. I really appreciate this gesture over the ones who just pour away. Even though it wasn't listed on their door with all the other major brands, they accepted my American Express. Adding some pics of the menu from today.“
“Fantastic hole in the wall bar with good atmosphere, live bands, and micro brew beer.Pros: Some of the best home brew level beer I've ever had. Easily rivaling any local brewery and approaching more well known brands like troegs. Below average beer pricing. Very friendly and personable staff (who also own/operate the place). Live entertainment: local small time artists, but very good.Cons: Very small place with limited seating, though this could easily be in the pro category depending on your taste. Very limited menu, only pizzas. I really want to give 5 stars because this is a truly special place.Recently found this place and instantly fell in love. The neighborhood/local community bar feel really drew me in. This truly is a diamond in the rough.“

“I didn’t even know this place existed. The place is different in the way you order at the counter and they bring it out to your table. The food is stupid good though. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area. I will certainly come back.“

“Chef Qui Musarra is one of the finest chefs in central PA. There isn't a dish I wouldn't recommend, but if I had to give recognition to one dish I would tell you that "Il Toscano" (the Tuscan Rib-eye) should be on your must have list. When available, the Chuleta and Percebes are also on that list. Mangia!“

“First time there last night and I gotta say I was blown away. I grew up in NOLA and the south for 30 yrs; that was the closest I’ve come to authentic southern/cajun since I moved here! Would DEFINITELY recommend! Plus it’s absolutely gorgeous and a great vibe!Vegetarian options: There were a couple veggie options and they were perfectly seasoned“

“The long negative review is obviously from a bitter person. The brownstone is the best gay hangout in Harrisburg. Has been nonsmoking for three years. Friendly and welcoming to all. Great events! Typical bar food but does the job in a pinch. Check out the hilarious menu on the bar. Brownstone is the crazy gay hangout.“

“Had reservations for 6 of us. 2 of them had never been here. Wasn't a very good first impression. Once we were seated our drink order was taken rather quickly. We probably sat 30 mins before the waitress came to take our order after asking us if we needed more time. She then excused herself to go to the restroom after telling us she had been there since 10am and didn't have time to go. She could've just gone since we already waited for 30 mins without sharing that. When she returned she went across the dining room instead of coming to take our order. 3 of us got the fish and chips and were very pleased with the size of the fish. But charging .75 for tarter sauce? That's like a condiment and most people use that on fish. 1 of the ladies ordered a bacon cheeseburger. No bacon on the burger. Entrees with 2 sides don't include fries. Instead there's an upcharge of $1.00 or more. Never been to a restaurant where they offer baked or mashed potatoes but you pay extra for fries. Very disappointed with our visit.“

Our waiter took our drink orders and told us the specials my wife chose the: Penne Penne pasta, maitaki and shiitake mushrooms, asparagus, white truffle oil, chive, light cream, parmigiano And I chose: Lumaconi Short ridge pasta, blistered tomato, roasted garlic, sauteed rock shrimp, arugula, molichie Both meals were delicious and we split a coconut flan for desert this was a very lighty flavored and topped with caramel sauce. Great service in an elegant and comfortable setting. We'll be returning again!“

“5/5, HANDS DOWN ON THIS ESTABLISHMENT. A Central PA native I am not, and neither can the chef be with the way they are cranking out real deal grub under this roof. I had a chance to speak with the head chef, Tom, and I have to compliment him and his team to the fullest. There is some real culinary art being crafted at Wolf Brew Co., and it's not just the beer. I had the Beef Short Rib, and it came out perfectly cooked to fork tender. The cheese grits were plated around the protein with crispy glazed brussel sprouts cooked to perfection as garnish. This is the way food should be presented to a customer. You want them to eat with their eyes and build up an appetite before you take the first bite. The staffing there is super friendly, accommodating, and knows the menu by heart. The way the server described the content of the menu demonstrated that they have tried and tested the food. That's huge in selling a plate. Awesome performance, Wolf Brew Co. Team!!! You guys earned this rating. Total Flavortown!!“
“Zeroday is a backpacking term used for a "downday" when hiking the trail. This brewery would be a great place for one and the A.T. is close by. It's got the typical modern outdoorsy vibe with an outside patio for warm days. We were headed to HMAC, in Harrisburg, and stopped here to get a bite to eat and pre game. HMAC is about 1 block away so it works well for anyone nearby. It was around 8PM on a Wednesday so the crowd was clearing out. Lots of beers on tap with a wide variety of ales, lagers and sours. Our waitress was really nice, and offered up a free sample, but I had to keep flagging her down to get refills. They don't do flights but do offer 5 oz. pours of their beers at a price. I sampled the Guavah Lagah which was light and smooth and something I could drink all day. I also sampled a sour (named - ain't mad at ya?) which was okay but wouldn't want more than a sampling. I then ordered a Mango Hab (habernero) which was really smooth with a spicy finish. What I tried was really good and I hope to visit again. For food I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and my wife ordered the smash burger and we both upgraded to fries. Nashville hot was no joke but it was seriously delicious. The fries were also nice and crisp. Overall, we both really enjoyed the food!“

“My husband and I tried this bakery last weekend. The cannolis, pistachio cannoli cake (AMAZING) and French horn were delicious! Definitely buy the large cannoli instead of the small cannoli, if not you will be wishing you did! I also had a cappuccino which was very good. The tiramisu however was very soupy and lacked flavor I was very disappointed bc it looked amazing and it was $7. We will definitely go back again!“
