Thats crazy, the food was really good, a bit salty but it was perfect with the rice. I highly recommend the chef specials and they were really generous with the chicken. I looked over the reviews and i believe they definitely uped their game. They had really good seasoning in their soups too! Highly recommend this place to everyone.“

There were steps up to the entrance which also made it complicated for our 2 wheelchair guests. Our server was attentive and friendly yet not overly pesky. We sat outside on a hot day but wasn’t too bad due to the shade and high speed fans. “Food: The food (for the most part, there are a couple of items on the menu I'm personally not a big fan of) is pretty good & comes in nice big serving sizes (again, for the most part).

Price: It's generally about the same price or a bit cheaper (depending on what you get) as most fast food restaurants, except this is a diner/cafe & you are getting a decent bit more food per dollar.

Building/ Parking: It's a pretty tiny building with pretty limited parking (you can always find some parking somewhere nearby), but it's clean & decently maintained.

Staff: They're cool people, nothing extraordinary, but also nothing bad I've experienced so far (I've been several times).

Overall: This place is pretty good. If you are looking for breakfast (or potentially lunch) in Middletown, (from my experience) either here or the Brownstone Cafe are your best options (If you have a big party like 6+, I'd probably go to the brownstone, but just 1-4, here is really nice & there's typically not much of any wait like the Brownstone).

“We arrived right at dinner time, which was not what we would usually do. But we were traveling and everyone was hungry, and it was a Wednesday. Despite being pretty packed, we only had an honest 20 to wait. They handled the crowd skillfully.

After promptly being seated, the only mark against them is the upsell during orders. Do you want this with it? Would you like that on the side? A bit frustrated. At least let us know it's for an extra charge🤷

Otherwise, the service was great and the food fantastic. The rattlesnake bites are always pretty awesome and they cooked the steaks to perfection. We only got sirloin this trip and was surprised at how tender the cuts were.

Due to how crowded Texas Roadhouse was, the noise was pretty high. But we could hear each other and converse. Personally I had some trouble, but that's the same anywhere there is crowd noise, I'm old.

Overall, our party of 4 had a great experience. We will get back to the usual plan and eat off hours next time. It's good to get a reminder of why we usually skip lunch and eat dinner at 2 or 3😁 Oh gosh we are old.
