“Went in not really knowing what our options would be as vegans and walked out with a few: Veggie Mei Fun, Veggie Lo Mein, and Sesame Tofu (large for all). We started with the Veggie Mei Fun and Sesame Tofu and were instantly so glad we chose this restaurant.

Veggie Mei Fun
The flavor of the Veggie Mei Fun is very different than what we have had before, in a great way. I haven’t had anything like it, so this was my favorite dish.

Veggie Lo Mein
The Lo Mein was everything we expected and more. Very tasty!

Sesame Tofu
Delicious. We ate this with rice and with the Lo Mein and Mei Fun… all combos were fantastic.

“4 of us got the brisket. All 4 were like old leather. Very dry.... Food was ok at best. Atmosphere was interesting. Almost a fight at the bar. Then a girl could barley walk getting up from the bar to leave. Just not the same.“

Our server was a great guide and offered up suggestions that made our experience even more special. We sat at a booth, but they have tables and outdoor seating as well. If you are a picky eater, this just might be a place for you. They offer lots of alternatives to meat and gluten free items. We shared an appetizer of tuna nachos, entrees included fish tacos, lobster salad, and ravioli. Everyone loved their meal, but that ravioli stole the show.“

There were steps up to the entrance which also made it complicated for our 2 wheelchair guests. Our server was attentive and friendly yet not overly pesky. We sat outside on a hot day but wasn’t too bad due to the shade and high speed fans. “I'm from NJ, we have amazing little ice cream shops all over!! I'm not talking about dairy queen or cold stone (not that there is anything wrong with those places.) I haven't found a place like what I'm used to since I moved here. I happened to be in the Duncannon area a while ago and we were coming up on that location so I asked my wife to stop..It was AMAZING!! Since then I have been to this location a couple times and the funfetti dough is soo good!! The kids are nice, and very quick..they definitely work as a team which is nice to see these days.“

We literally planned a weekend in Harrisburg based on Papa Joe’s. “Our group of 14 decided at the last minute to have dinner together, arriving without a reservation. Within minutes, Fiesta Mexico had tables together and had us seated. That alone was impressive.

Our server was outstanding. Despite the size of our group—and everyone's request for separate checks—service was friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout the evening. The food was excellent, the drinks were great, and everything arrived hot and fresh.

There was one small mix-up with a check, but it was corrected almost immediately with a smile. Mistakes happen; how a restaurant handles them says a lot, and Fiesta Mexico handled it perfectly.

The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a fun, authentic atmosphere that adds to the experience.

I’m excited to continue trying different dishes from them. My one and only complaint is they included the most tasty sauce but didn’t say what it was so I can be sure to order it again.
