“The owner Martiza is a humble and exceptional chef. Her limited menu ensures that she pays attention to each meal. She doesn’t try to be something she is not. She puts love in each meal. Take a moment and stop by and try her menu. For a small restaurant she has you delivers higher level authentic meal.“
“Getting together with family to have a good meal was our plan. The restaurant has some historic charm with beautiful woodwork. We had a number of meal choices that were all very good. Some most notable menu items were, Paella Shrimp, Mariscada ( seafood stew) and the Jambalaya. Service was a bit slow as the the bartender was also the server. For the most part we enjoyed everything. The downside was having to sit in the bar area. There were a number of people at the bar and it was extremely noisy which made our evening disappointing. We couldn't hear our conversations between our family members. They do have another dinning are behind the bar which would have been much more conducive for anyone wishing to have a nice more reserved dinner. When calling for reservations if you want a more relaxed dinning experience request the back dinning room. When we go back again that will be our request. If they can't provide that we may forego this restaurant and go elsewhere.“
“Most amazing people! They were kind and patient when my kids took forever to figure out what they wanted. It was nice to go back after so long (used to go all the time for eat in when kids were younger) the food was amazing and the wait wasn’t long.“
“For the atmosphere and friendliness of staff this place gets a 5 star! As a PRrican I find the staple rice with pigeon peas could be better. I love their chicken soup and pernil. We also had the sorillos and also felt they could be better. But will definitely return, such a fun place to chat and hang with a small group.“
