“Stopped today after fishing at Mingo with my son and my fiancé. I ordered half of an Italian hoagie and hot pepper cheeseballs, my fiancé had a pepperoni pizza and my son had the cheese Stromboli. My Italian hoagie was delicious, super fresh toppings and a half alone was huge, more like the size of a whole at other places. I tried my fiancés pizza and it was really good too. I don’t know what kind of cheese they use but it’s excellent! You can tell the dough is super fresh too! My son’s Stromboli was cooked perfectly with a garlic butter Parmesan sauce on it. It was huge and filled with so much cheese he thought it was social media worthy :) Hot pepper cheeseballs were fried to perfection… but wait there’s more . Even though wee were stuffed we HAD to have a treat… I had the most AMAZING banana milkshake I ever had and my son had the pineapple dole-whip, he said it was just like Disney Worlds! I saw some reviews mentioning service, ours was excellent. Our order was taken immediately , our food was done writhing like 15 minutes and to be honest when going to a place like this it’s usually first time job high schoolers who begrudgingly get a job because mom and dad said to. They are getting work experience for the very first time of their life, have patience for goodness sakes. The owner, I believe her name is Lynn was so kind and inviting as well as the nice man as well. If you haven’t done so already go give this place a try. Excellent food, great prices and super kind owners!”

“When I'm off work I like to venture to places I haven't been before. I wasn't expecting to feel like I was transported to Toluca, Mexico, where they make the best red chorizo in the world. At Boga Taco my new friend, Guadalupe, makes homemade chorizo like she learned in her hometown. It was the best I've had since moving back from Arizona and by far the most authentic....for good reason! I also learned that they make green chorizo as well! Pretty cool. I absolutely love good chorizo and authentic Mexican dishes. The street taco style eats were absolutely incredible and will satisfy your cravings! I picked a variety of tacos with authentic cilantro and onions on top. Can't forget their homemade mild or spicy salsa that completes a delicious taco if you ask me. A fruit punch Jarritos and a sampler of their aqua frescas just put this all over the top! The best Horchata I've had in a long time as well. One word...Fresh! Not powdered ready made stuff! That goes for everything in this place.....fresh! The food was incredible and the owner was extremely nice. The amount of customers saying hello to her and the people going in and out should say enough. There's also plenty of space to dine in btw! “Had to give The Lab five stars due to the absolutely out of this world food! My husband and I travel all over the country, mainly seeking out destination restaurants and let me tell you the food here is on par with that of the some most prestigious places across the country. My husband said he would rate the ribeye in his top five EVER! Other dishes are creative and delicious as well. Very cool atmosphere, makes you forget you are in Washington while you are dining. I will mention service could have been much more polished to match the food and ambiance. The majority of our question about the dishes where met with an “I’m not sure” from our server. Not really acceptable to not know the menu frontward and backwards when trying to deliver a fine dining experience. However the quality of the food and cocktails helped us over look the lack luster service. So ecstatic that this restaurant is in our neighborhood. Blows away ANYTHING Pittsburgh has to offer! We will return soon!”

“Every time my boyfriend and I come for dinner, we leave so satisfied. A few times, a gentleman who I assume is the owner, brings us a little plate of crab and mango “on the house.” Sushi scraps they don’t want to go to waste I imagine? Regardless, it’s a sweet gesture! The staff is SO friendly. I have yet to have a bad experience here. 10/10!”

“We were at a softball tournament, I searched for nearby Mexican cuisine and this place popped up as the closest. We rolled in after some games with 12 people. The staff was very welcoming and polite. Our food was delicious and came out so quick. It was a great dining experience and I plan on stopping back in when we are in the area.”
