“Bert and The Elephant has great service, but the vibe is what really makes it special. It truly feels like you’re in Belgium! The food and drinks are amazing, and to top it off, I also found out that Bert’s and my family are from the same neighboring town on an island. Then to make it better me and him were born in the same town in a whole different country across the world, such a small world. Bert is a great guy, but his explanation about the beers, the technique behind the foam and how to enjoy it was mind blowing!! Jess was soooo good as well! Can’t wait to come back!“

“if you're looking for the best pub food in the city proper, look no further than Dan's Pub. the food is on point and there's no place I'd rather go for a fantastic sandwich. The menu is perfect.The cheese steaks, fish and chips and dogs are the bomb. Victoria is a hidden treasure in the kitchen. don't change a thing. love it“

“One of Downtown Lancaster’s BEST kept secrets. Such an amazing/elegant/groovy combination of vibes. Stopped in for dessert and an Irish coffee and it was delicious! Seating and presentation is well spaced and acoustics allow for great conversation. Top notch staff that’s incredibly talented in this one of kind atmosphere in the city!“

“Rumplebrewskin’s (or Rump’s as the locals call it) is our local bar that we go to at least once a month. The vibe is super low key and laid back, and the owner and staff are attentive and nice. It’s our go-to place when we don’t want to make the trek to downtown Lancaster. Their cheesesteaks are also pretty good!“

“Absolutely love this bar. One of few I'll even venture out to. The people are great, the bartender makes the perfect drinks (personally I prefer trash cans and long islands), and I always find new and great friends to shoot darts with.“

“This is a great bar. Been to many many bars and this place felt like home the minute I walked in. Great bartender, good pool players, relaxed atmosphere. Good prices and good folks to chat with, you'll almost certainly have a fun conversation with another patron. Will be back the next time I'm in Lancaster.“
“A little known hole in the wall that still allows smoking indoors. They have have wonderful, friendly staff and the prices are some of the best in town! MAKE SURE YOU BRING YOUR IDENTIFICATION! If you don't it is very unlikely you will get in. The staff is nice yet firm about this! Very laid back and relaxed atmosphere with a good jukebox and munchies like all beef hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels and chips. Not a far walk from Franklin & Marshal at all.“
“It is a throw back bar.Ok..Ok..It a dive.! but a great dive bar! Walking in takes you back in time. I don't think there is a more laid back bar than Huie's in Berks County. Want to smoke a cigarette? You can. They don't chase you outside to smoke. It is the most non pretentious bar I have every been to. Beer prices are great. Scott, the bartender, is such a nice guy. Pretty damm smart too. Don't challenge him in Jeopardy unless you want to get your butt handed to you. This bar may not be for everyone and that's a good thing but it's good enough for me and all the other nice people who go there!! 1/2/24.. The greatest dive bar in Berks County. There are a lot of regulars and a lot if banter. If you are thin skinned or easily offended, this is not the place for you. If you come in feeling entitled or special, or demanding or complaining you won't feel that way when you walk out. Yeah, it a little clicky but it's like family when you are part of the click.“
“One of the more surprising details about Lancaster is that you can get very high-quality cocktails here. The best place to do so is Bar 1888. Perched in the center of City Market South, you can grab food from one of the dozen-or-so diverse food stands and then settle in for an often rotating, inventive cocktail list...often including esoteric flavors and ingredients (salted tomatillo syrup for the win). One of my favorite stops in downtown Lancaster.“

“We got General tos, Cajun, hot, and sudden death for an extra $10 which equates to $16.25 for 5 wings . Sudden death wings are extremely hot & impossible to eat more than one . It tastes good , but you can barely taste them due to how hot they are . They definitely are NOT worth the extra money at all & I do not recommend them . However, the other wings were Delicious! Our favorites out of the 4 was hot . It’s a very tasty hot sauce & not a typical hot sauce . They were nice & crispy and pick up was a breeze . Thank you guys so much, but you can keep those sudden death wings 😂“

“Had the best time at Reflections Restaurant to celebrate my dads retirement. I have a almost three year old with that said this place was just so nice going in at 3pm - we had a little area to ourselves and the food was amazing. I never order a pork chop anywhere as well ya... lol but thanks to this page ans what i read on reviews it was by far the best meal i had in a long time. My girl ordered the pizza didnt touch any of it as she was too busy eating my pork chop and her grand parents yummy meat loaf and truffle mac and cheese All of us left stuffed and happy It was just too darn yummy ! Thanks for the memories -“

“Very easy to make reservations via Open Door for our Table of 6. Staff was very accommodating to meet our needs to sit close to Band! Food was awesome. Server Zia was very happy to also meet our needs in a timely manner. We will def. b back.“

“Nice place to relax. Me and my sister took my 4 year old niece a couple of weeks ago. She likes talking to ppl she tried being communicative with the server, but she didn't even pay attention to her, and the place wasn't so busy. As a server, you should be smart about that. Still left 20%, though. Next time, I hope we just get another server.“
