“I’ve been coming to Cocalico Coffee Crafters for about a year and a half now—and I should have written this sooner. CCC is more than just a coffee shop—it’s a place with the warmth of a hearth, and the heart to match. Their Haitian espresso is rich and flavorful, the food’s solid, and the baristas are friendly. The space is large, and they fill it with good energy. But what really sets this place apart is the people. When I was going through a rough patch, I spent countless hours tucked away in a corner writing. Not once did anyone bat an eye at whether I ordered one coffee or ten, whether I took my meals there or not. I always got the same welcoming smile, and authentically good energy from the staff and owners alike. Owned by two genuinely kind humans, Rachel and Scott Elliott, this shop has quietly become a place of refuge and community for folks around East Cocalico—and I’ll always be grateful for what it gave me when I needed it most. “Scratch bakes has coffee and desserts, along with a beautiful seating space. It’s a good spot to come in the afternoon for a social meeting or a relaxing place to work. Acoustically it is a little echoey, but there is music that helps it from having a dead silence.“

“I just visited Lapp Valley Farm and I'm still dreaming about the delicious ice cream! There were many flavors to choose from, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The shop itself was clean and welcoming, with a fun atmosphere. The kids love the indoor play area.

“This was our first time visiting Kitchen Kettle Village, and it came highly recommended by a friend—now we see why! There are so many unique shops to explore, with something for everyone. If you’re a quilter or love handmade goods, this place is a must-see. There are also tons of food options, from snacks to full meals, so you definitely won’t leave hungry. A charming and fun stop—we’ll definitely be back!“

Rachel made my gluten-free breakfast sandwich, which was delicious. And the coffee station is great! Everyone was so helpful with all my questions. As a local, I can tell you I will be back again!
