“So the food I tried was delicious! The uzbek pilaf was rice with beef, and the samsa was a flaky pastry with beef. And how could I forget, I tasted the honey cake too - yum! I have nothing against the food trailer, in fact, the worker served us free London fogs which was a delightful surprise! But I don't really recommend eating inside the car shop... “I’ve been coming to Cocalico Coffee Crafters for about a year and a half now—and I should have written this sooner. CCC is more than just a coffee shop—it’s a place with the warmth of a hearth, and the heart to match. Their Haitian espresso is rich and flavorful, the food’s solid, and the baristas are friendly. The space is large, and they fill it with good energy. But what really sets this place apart is the people. When I was going through a rough patch, I spent countless hours tucked away in a corner writing. Not once did anyone bat an eye at whether I ordered one coffee or ten, whether I took my meals there or not. I always got the same welcoming smile, and authentically good energy from the staff and owners alike. Owned by two genuinely kind humans, Rachel and Scott Elliott, this shop has quietly become a place of refuge and community for folks around East Cocalico—and I’ll always be grateful for what it gave me when I needed it most. “The atmosphere is fabulous and I love the menu choices, though it would be nice if chips were offered with the sandwiches. I will be going back. The only issue we had was the service and I hope it changes. The young lady serving us did not seem to know the menu enough to be able to answer questions, didn't know to bring us drinks, she had to ask us what we ordered so that she knew what to bring to our table. I almost felt sorry for her but there were only a few people in the restaurant and she was clearly having trouble remembering the process. Some training would help a lot!!“

“Scratch bakes has coffee and desserts, along with a beautiful seating space. It’s a good spot to come in the afternoon for a social meeting or a relaxing place to work. Acoustically it is a little echoey, but there is music that helps it from having a dead silence.“

“Was so pleasantly surprised by this little cafe. My friend and I were antiquing and gps said this cafe was 10 minutes away, so we went, but truly it was right in the mix of all the shops we were planning to go to anyway. Their menu is extensive, their chicken salad was great, and their apple raisin coleslaw was the best I’ve ever had. Will probably spend some time trying to figure out how to recreate that. The service was wonderful and was surprised by how cute the place was. Had a great coffee as we left. Highly recommend.“

“Carly, Ava, and Harold gave me the warmest greeting on my first visit. Harold even was so kind as to walk my breakfast outside as it was such a beautiful day. Rachel made my gluten-free breakfast sandwich, which was delicious. And the coffee station is great! Everyone was so helpful with all my questions. As a local, I can tell you I will be back again!

“This is my favorite little breakfast/lunch spot in the area. Absolutely. I order too often from here and am never disappointed. I will always favor them. I absolutely love their breakfast items, the pepperjack tomato soup is the best I’ve ever had, and the beef bite is my go to sandwich. Their iced lattes are better than Starbucks in my opinion; I appreciate the cute box and presentation when they wrap my food up. I love the sandwich combo and getting a pickle on the side.
