“So the food I tried was delicious! The uzbek pilaf was rice with beef, and the samsa was a flaky pastry with beef. And how could I forget, I tasted the honey cake too - yum! I have nothing against the food trailer, in fact, the worker served us free London fogs which was a delightful surprise! But I don't really recommend eating inside the car shop... Friendly staff but it's just a bit odd in there...??‍♀️“

“I’ve been coming to Cocalico Coffee Crafters for about a year and a half now—and I should have written this sooner. CCC is more than just a coffee shop—it’s a place with the warmth of a hearth, and the heart to match. Their Haitian espresso is rich and flavorful, the food’s solid, and the baristas are friendly. The space is large, and they fill it with good energy. But what really sets this place apart is the people. When I was going through a rough patch, I spent countless hours tucked away in a corner writing. Not once did anyone bat an eye at whether I ordered one coffee or ten, whether I took my meals there or not. I always got the same welcoming smile, and authentically good energy from the staff and owners alike. Owned by two genuinely kind humans, Rachel and Scott Elliott, this shop has quietly become a place of refuge and community for folks around East Cocalico—and I’ll always be grateful for what it gave me when I needed it most. “I just visited Lapp Valley Farm and I'm still dreaming about the delicious ice cream! There were many flavors to choose from, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The shop itself was clean and welcoming, with a fun atmosphere. The kids love the indoor play area.

“Was so pleasantly surprised by this little cafe. My friend and I were antiquing and gps said this cafe was 10 minutes away, so we went, but truly it was right in the mix of all the shops we were planning to go to anyway. Their menu is extensive, their chicken salad was great, and their apple raisin coleslaw was the best I’ve ever had. Will probably spend some time trying to figure out how to recreate that. The service was wonderful and was surprised by how cute the place was. Had a great coffee as we left. Highly recommend.“

“This was our first time visiting Kitchen Kettle Village, and it came highly recommended by a friend—now we see why! There are so many unique shops to explore, with something for everyone. If you’re a quilter or love handmade goods, this place is a must-see. There are also tons of food options, from snacks to full meals, so you definitely won’t leave hungry. A charming and fun stop—we’ll definitely be back!“

“Carly, Ava, and Harold gave me the warmest greeting on my first visit. Harold even was so kind as to walk my breakfast outside as it was such a beautiful day. Rachel made my gluten-free breakfast sandwich, which was delicious. And the coffee station is great! Everyone was so helpful with all my questions. As a local, I can tell you I will be back again!

I absolutely love their breakfast items, the pepperjack tomato soup is the best I’ve ever had, and the beef bite is my go to sandwich. Their iced lattes are better than Starbucks in my opinion; I appreciate the cute box and presentation when they wrap my food up. I love the sandwich combo and getting a pickle on the side. They worked tirelessly to make sure we had the best wedding weekend that we could have ever imagined. As our coordinator, Jen was a godsend! She managed every panicked email, every request, and every question with grace and kindness. The venue itself is gorgeous, and the rooms are so comfortable. The ballroom transformed from ceremony to reception beautifully. We could not imagine getting married anywhere else, and we are already planning our next trip back to visit. We have heard nothing from good things from all of our guests who attended the wedding, about how elegant the venue was, and how they enjoyed the food. My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner here last year and this year for our anniversary, we came back and they made us a heart shaped pizza with candles and everything!
