I surprised my husband with a ride in the Stearman biplane on Sunday and he was THRILLED to say the least. Everyone here was friendly and professional and I'm so glad we found this historic airfield. We'll be back to look at the beautiful planes take off and land at this idyllic spot.
Cute airfield. Antique planes and you can buy a ride. Nice country setting. Not exciting and maybe not totally worth the drive unless you are into planes. You can not walk around on the field and look at the planes so there is not much to do. And a ride is expensive.

Summer season burger shack. Chef Ranier uses the best quality meats (burgers and ny strip) and makes the fries by hand. Simple but super tasty fare, not expensive, and lovely tree-shaded picnic tables and seating along the apron and runway for viewing the antique planes flying.
